in the middle of a forest a vampire sits on a branch high up off the ground.He looks at a small scrap of cloth in his hand.

Dakota was walking around thru the forest for no apparent reason

the vampire [Ryuu:] looks around then jumps down out of the tree annd starts folowing some wolf prints on the ground.

Dakota, still bored, walks up to a stream follows a fish, and snatches it up with his hands. He brings it over to a nearby tree and starts chewing on it.

the trail reaches the stream and disapears. Ryuu sees Dakota and walks to him. "hey have you seen some wolf running around hear?"

He looks up confused. "no i havent." he said being on the safe side and lied.

"raw fish?" he says looking at the fish.

"Sushi, want some?" he pronounces, making sure he is convincing enought.

he eyed the fish " im good" he said with a laugh.

"so what are you doin out here" he smelt the vampire, but didnt react, he couldnt afford too.

he looked at dakota and tried to figure out wether he was vampire or not ... he couldnt tell "hunting" it was a close enough lie.

"for?" he asked. not sounding susicious, but curious, like a person should be.

"a wolf" he said then looked around for a second then looked back at dakota.

"Interesting. Any particular one?" He needed to know what he was looking for in specific.

"y..." he stopped suddenly "does it really matter?" he thought this guy had to many questions.

"Just curious. It says curiosity killed the CAT, not the human." he replied laughing, "no i suppose not, i can build a fire and cathc a few more fish if you hungary" he offered.

ugh fish not the best blood "not hungry, you shure u haven't seen the wolf . . . any wolf?" he said looking around again.

"maybe a couple a day ago. Running east" he replied, hiding the lie.

"east?" that made no sense, he had just came from the east.

"last i saw. But that was either two or three days ago, whats so important about them?" he tried asking again.

"does this look familiar to you?" he asked, handing him the cloth. he was dodging the question.

"looks like... some sorta fabric. Not sure what kind or where from. Maybe is was part of some clothes." he replied. faking an answer.

"well if i find the wolf i find my friend. this is his"

He let out a breath, realizing it wasnt him he was after. "wolf, or werewolf" he asked curiously

he stopped loking around and looked straight at him. he sniffed the air to see what he was, "werewolf" he said slowly.

"well i assure you it wasnt me. I havent seen another werewolf for days." reliefed showed in his voice.

"are you a newborn or traveler?" he asked catiously "you dont seem familiar.

"just traveling from place to place. I have rarely seen a werewolf in years. only a handful at most. I will accompany you if you would like it" he said finishing the fish and throwing it into the river.

"shure but i just lost the trail at the edge of the river."he said relieved to have help.

"im going to change and see if i cant pick up the scent. If you would, hold the clothe to my muzzle when i change." he changed and waited for Ryuu to lower the clothelike fabric

he held the fabric up to him " get a scent?" he asked

He nodded and took off to jump across the river, heading northwest.

he followed him keeping pace alongside him.

(sorry bout that last night, i had to get off. But i didnt have time to say by to everyone i was rping.)

THe came to a small cottageabout 20miles from where they started. He changed back.

"There's a werewolf in there that has that scent" he said looking at the small cottage.

(no problem)

"do you smell any others in there" he said pulling out a sword.

"A couple of humans. But i doubt they know what he is. Werewolves that do what he does, kill for fun disgust me" he spat out the last part.

"ready?" he said running up to the side of the window and looked in

Dakota takes out his short sword, and smiled, "whenever you are, but dont kill the humans, if one is your friend then well try to keep him safe, werewolves are pretty hard to kill."

(gotta goes they need the comp.)

"ok, well keep both alive." he looked back in the window calculating. . . "the wolf is standing here facing the door. i will go around open the door and you get him through the window be suprise."

he ran around the cottageand stopped at the door, he waited a second then kicked the door in.

Dakota waited just a second before he jumped through the window. only a couple of cuts on him. and watched as Ryuu fought the werewolf, with what looked like an ease.

ryuu continues to swing his sword at the werewolf laughing slightly at him, keeping him occupied for dakota to go in for the kill.

Dakota caught on why it was easy for him. He was just playing. Dakota was waiting for the right moment.... Now he stabbed straight with his sword and caught the wolf in the throat.

ryuu got splattered in the face with blood, stinky werewolf's blood. he wiped it off with a discusted look on his face. he looked at dakota then smiled.

"nice shot, but what to do now" he said looking at the humans.

"Is any of them your friends?" he asked solemly.
