I bought
from BWB and the person before me smoked. Ugh. I really want to read the book, as I love MC and Robin Hood stuff, but I can't stand the smell.

I'm allergic to cats and can always tell if the library book I'm reading was recently in a house with cats... I get a runny nose and sneeze like crazy. Not sure if the fridge works for dander, but I'll give it a try next time.
Oh! I'll have to try that tip, Rachel. Thanks! Unfortunately, it is packed away in my garage now... in anticipation of selling my home... which, it seems, I'm procrastinating doing...
I recently read a medieval historical by Denise Domning called 'Winter's Heat' & really loved it, so much that I've already downloaded two others by the same author that I haven't had time to read yet. I'm a history buff & Domning's books are extremely well researched and historically accurate. 'Winter's Heat' was a long read, but I enjoyed every minute of it. The characters behave like real medieval people, unlike many of these books where the hero/heroine have modern sensibilities that aren't realistic for the time period. Currently $.99 on Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/Winters-Heat-De...
I like this series
. The first is a novella, and I thought it was well done; I've read two more novels from the series and loved them.
I just finished the galley of
and loved it. The release date isn't until Sept 2/14, but it's well worth picking up.
I'm always a fan of Hannah Howell novels when I'm in the mood for medieval highlanders. She has never disappointed me.
Pamela(AllHoney) wrote: "Hannah Howell is hit or miss with me. I have loved a few and not so loved a few."I've only ever read her Highlander romances, so can't comment on her other genre work. But those I've read have been great.
