I bought from BWB and the person before me smoked. Ugh. I really want to read the book, as I love MC and Robin Hood stuff, but I can't stand the smell.

Hi Lisa Kay, Maybe try putting the book in the freezer for a few days to see if it gets rid of the smell.

I'm allergic to cats and can always tell if the library book I'm reading was recently in a house with cats... I get a runny nose and sneeze like crazy. Not sure if the fridge works for dander, but I'll give it a try next time.

I recently read a medieval historical by Denise Domning called 'Winter's Heat' & really loved it, so much that I've already downloaded two others by the same author that I haven't had time to read yet. I'm a history buff & Domning's books are extremely well researched and historically accurate. 'Winter's Heat' was a long read, but I enjoyed every minute of it. The characters behave like real medieval people, unlike many of these books where the hero/heroine have modern sensibilities that aren't realistic for the time period. Currently $.99 on Amazon.

A Kingdom of Dreams is one of my faves.

I like this series . The first is a novella, and I thought it was well done; I've read two more novels from the series and loved them.

Never read them. I'll have to check them out.

I just finished the galley of and loved it. The release date isn't until Sept 2/14, but it's well worth picking up.

One of my favorite medieval series is by Elizabeth Lowell. Also loved .

I'm always a fan of Hannah Howell novels when I'm in the mood for medieval highlanders. She has never disappointed me.

Hannah Howell is hit or miss with me. I have loved a few and not so loved a few.
