So after 2 days of being on competitive team at gymnastics, I now have a never-healing rip on my hand, a nice cut on my finger, a huge rip on my foot, and a sore ankle from walking funny due to my hurt foot. Yup, this team thing sure is working out great...
Well today I was being a stupid person and using those cement things at the ends of parking spaces that are like 2 inches wide on top as balance beams and doing jumps on them. Then I fell off and now my butt hurts cause I fell really hard. I'm so smart. At least I didn't get really hurt cause I do NOT want to have to explain to my coach what I was doing...
Ouch D:I hope you feel better again...if your butt hurts you can't really sit well or anything...D:
I did that once XD
Except since I don't do anything anymore I was just trolling my friend and then she tripped me and it did not end well.
Ouch. Well, I'll have fun explaining to my coaches tomorrow why my legs won't move! (Because I ran today and I went to fast for not having run in several months which they'll get mad at me about.)
Heh. I love those concrete things. I reinjured my ankle slightly today. It's better now, but I'm not sure how I did it exactly. All I did was kayak, and hat's not very difficult on your feet.
I was running along a wall once and tripped sideways and hit the concrete ground. i bruised all down my leg and had to explain to my dance teacher what i'd done
I wasn't kidding about that rip never healing... it's still there. And has been there for about 6-7 weeks now, and is actually worse. A lot worse. Like, oozing stuff. And that's really gross.
That's what I'm thinking. But I'm not sure how that happened cause I've been disinfecting it yet and soaking it in epsom salts, which are also supposed to draw out infection. But my parents are convinced that it isn't infected and it just needs more time or something. Yeah... I think it's had plenty of time.
Sometimes it's swollen. I told my mom I thought it might be infected and she said we'll see how it is in a few days.
Your parents really should believe you because it's been a long time and it sounds really nasty. o_O
Yeah, and it's really annoying cause the stuff is getting all over and it's staining my sheets at night. But I can't do anything about it cause my coach said I can't put bandaids on it except at the gym.
Hopefully! How big is it?I once got an infected splinter and I ended up stabbing it with a needle and washing it out with soap but it was pretty small...
Haha nope. But it is now turning yellow around the edges. And yet my parents continue to say that it is completely normal.
Oh dear. Yellow is {usually} a sign that it is definitely infected. Do you have any other things you could try? To heal it?
Well finally my mom said if it's not better in a couple days we'll go to the doctor. Good. I'm tired of getting yellow stuff on my clothes and stuff.
Oh yeah..in the meantime, just take care of yourself as well as you have been. XP I'm not sure if you already have, but I suggest washing it in soap a lot. Try and clean it out.
Okay!After I
Dad broke down and took me to the doctor. It's minorly infected. Got antibiotic stuff to put on it. No bars until it heals completely. Yays.
Yesterday at gym we spent 2 hours doing strength and flexibility testing. I got my left leg splits down for the first time ever, during testing and got max points for them. During strength, I did a wall sit (with thighs flat and feet straight under) for 10 minutes before coach cut me off. Then about 10 minutes later we did block jumps at waist height (feet together the whole time, jump all the way onto block, jump down, repeat) and I did 70, before coach cut me off again. So. I was pretty dang proud of myself for that. Especially considering that my previous wall sit record was 2 minutes. Needless to say, walking is proving to be quite a difficult task today.
