This section is for authors interested in sharing ideas on getting their work out to the general public: I have found doing a tour with your local libraries helpful. Also, the Chamber of Commerce is always looking for speakers with a good message for the community. And, the lions club and kiawanis clubs and more.

Milkweed Augustine (lamamilkweed) | 23 comments I used to speak in colleges and in Universities, but it is equally wonderful to be able to find any place to manipulate one's work; either it be an out of the way place, or in places of society.
I was asked twice to speak at Smithsonian, but as usual, I was too sick.
Soon to die, this well know author and human rights' activist will no longer do this kind of thing, but all good writers out there should!

Eric Draven (ericcrowdraven) | 9 comments This is what I will say, the news of your how much time you may have left. It makes me want to work even harder to have an impact so when I am gone I will never be forgotten. So my daughter will always have a piece of me, so the world would know I was here.
