Did anyone else read Mr. Popper's Penguins? This was my favorite book when I was little! I used to think it could actually happen... haha yeah I've grown up since then, but still a very cute book and I will definitely give it to my future children.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) I adored this book when I was about seven - my grandfather gave it to me.

Susan (mrsfun) | 89 comments I read this aloud to my dd a few years ago. Then she had to reread it right away. It is on our bookshelf as a family keeper.

Beth Knight (zazaknittycat) | 390 comments My husband and I started reading Mr. Popper's Penguins to our 8 year old last night. I really think he's going to love it!

Ashley (affie) | 468 comments I think I am definitely in the minority about this book, but I thought it was annoying. I think if I had read it when I was younger I would have liked it more, but I read it about a year ago, and I was not able to like it. I just found it totally unbelievable and flat. It's one I will have around for my kids to read, and I hope they read it young enough to enjoy it, because it is a great book for kids, but it just really didn't click with me.
