This is just a topic for random things about the book.
For Example: In the first draft when Rachael went to the City of Chaos she actually died each time, sometimes in public places such as school where she simply dropped over dead. In one instance she was dead for 3 weeks and woke up in a morgue. I decided that it would be better to make her visits dream sequences instead since it would make people more likely to not believe her.

I've just finished reading the rift and can't believe the ending! How could you leave us not knowing what's going to happen! ?

It's kind of my trademark :P Ever since I started writing, everything from chapters, to short stories, to books ends with a lot left unknown. Fortunately there is two more books in that series and the second one is coming out in July. The thing is that I usually don't even know what is going to happen after the ending. I still have no idea how the series is going to end... trying to decided between tragic, melancholy, or happy

I still have to finish reading, I expect to be done by the end of this week. I dont like wtf endings but given theres a sequel I suspect my wondering will be like everyone elses and all questions will be answered in the next book

All in the first but new ones will come up in the second that won't be answered until the third.
