What book would you like to read and discuss during the month of July?

Stephanie Acon (stephanie_acon) | 3 comments Hi All,

Be sure to review my breakout yet raw Urban Novel ESCAPE FROM A NIGHTMARE. It's a most-unique experience with each chapter RIVETING full of twist and turns and clashing between love, premonition, and fear. The journey is incredible. The ending unbelievable. But you must read it for yourselves. Available everywhere:)

Thanks!

Kanita Carington-McDonald (kanitacaringtonmcdonald) | 44 comments Hello All!

I am new to this group, kinda sorta as in...this is my first comment. Joined the group maybe a month ago or so?? Anyway, Stephanie, your novel sounds very interesting. Much luck with it! As for our July Read, I'd like to add to our list of suggestions. I will "nominate" The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat by Edward Kelsey Moore by Edward Kelsey Moore and Loving Donovan by Bernice L. McFadden by Bernice L. McFadden. Heard good things about them and they both seem like fairly light, easy, chick lit, fun summer reads.

Just a suggestion. Look forward to reading any good reads! Happy Reading! :)

I am not surprised at all. It appears as though many have read and enjoyed them both already. However, as long as my To-Read List is, I always seem to be catching up! Lol! :) Oh well, very glad to be a member of the group. Can't wait to get started!

Me too! My list just keeps growing instead of getting smaller. Lol Which of the two books would you like to read and discuss?

Though I really want to read both novels soon, I think I'm leaning toward Loving Donovan. It's summertime and this book screams chick-lit read! ...I know I'm reaching to make that connection! Lol! :) Actually, I've read 3 of Bernice McFadden's works thus far and TOTALLY enjoyed each (Sugar, This Bitter Earth & Gathering of Water). I'm looking forward to jumping into her other novels as well. But either way, I'm open, flexible and just ready to begin.
