okaaaaay so after reading stolen i was sad and upset with the ending & i was really heartbroken because i loved ty so much i didn't even care that gemma might've had stockholm syndrome (cause tbh she most likely did)

I STILL DON'T CARE i wanted them to be together and live in the middle of nowhere until the endddd


ok so i don't read fanfics at all because they creep me out but i was so disappointed in the ending to this book i jUST COULDN'T RESIST so i looked up an alternate ending fanfic and if you didnt like the book ending either...

Wow! You are not kidding. This ending was way better. I am not big on words so I don't type much, but I totally agree with all your words. Thanks for sharing.

I kinda dissagree, because Ty creeped me out, i mean come on! He stalked her and her friends for six years and kidnapped her!

would have loved to have read the court scenes just to read what was said and if he went to prison or a psych ward.

I'm actually quite glad the way it ended. I would love to see a second book though from Ty's POV after he is released from jail.

The ending of this book upset me greatly. I couldn't help but fall for Tyler... and it just made me incredibly sad ):

I had a love/hate relationship with the end. While I was shipping Ty/ Gemma by the end, I also realized that I had gained a sense of Stockholm Syndrome as well. Books like this, that challenge your idea and morals are my favorite. How prettily can some one dress something up otherwise considered horrible, to where it becomes acceptable? As sad as I was that Gemma didn't stick around and wait for Ty, I was thrilled that she was able to realize what it was he had done to her. Call it what you will, it was wrong, and I was happy to see that she realized it, because it made it realistic and gave the story something deeper and more complex than just a love story.

I would love to hear her testimony, would she tell about how she fell in love with him and paint him to be a nice guy or would she tell of how he drugged her and kidnapped her painting him as a monster. I want to know how Ty felt about her testimony? How did she deal with her mother after this?

As soon as I finished this book, i felt like perhaps I had Stockholm's! I totally get that Ty was sick, I mean he stalked her from an early age, made his move for her at 16 and stole her! BUT I felt for him, maybe i'm sick too?!? I thought the ending gave it some realism, however I would love a glimpse of Ty after reading Gemma's letter...

i get that he was super creepy, but i, like bell, think i'm suffering from stockholm's as well!!! he just loved her so much :(

Them being together and continuing living in the outback may seem like a very pleasing idea as an ending but it is not realistic. I agree that Ty was without a doubt spot on creepy but i still liked him. i still liked - loved - the book. i was sad by the ending but doesn't need changing. A sequel maybe.

That would actually be very interesting to see a different POV. I would read that.

I haven't finished the book yet but now after reading the comments I'm kinda scared but I really love what I have read of it I'm like where he has a nightmare

i thought it was pretty stupid how gemma betrayed ty
