Its happening, a environment has to have a limiting factor somewhere no matter how advanced it may be.

False in Ireland there is 1000s and 1000s of miles of free space and think about the amount food we are wasting plus if there is more people then we will be able to grow more food.
Overpopulation concern has been going on for like a 1000 years.
So if it even did happen it would take 1000s of years.
