Callie took in a deep breath. Lovers Leap. She smiled gently, not having come here in years. Callie removed her hands from him, to take off her helmet and step off. "Yes of course. It's pretty sad to think if anything like that." She sighed sadly, looking down into the water.
She nodded as a reply, sitting on her knees. She reached over to stick her hand in the powerful water, memorized by the strength of the it. "Some of them are, but mostly their rumors. I heard one about a man and a little girl...." Callie shuddered, glancing up at Him.
"We'll this dad went insane and killed his daughter by pushing her in. She grabbed his arm and pulled her with him I guess." Callie looked at him to see his reaction. She also felt bad for confusing him again.
She nodded, standing up and brushing her knees off."It's the worst, I mean to think about," Callie sighed and bit her lip, gazing back into the crashing water.
Callie nodded."Yeah. But it involves climbing trees." She smirked, glancing at the trees that followed the waterfall down. As a kid, she always climbed them down the way, and jumped into the water to swim.
"Of course. I always did it as a kid. Well, I mean, you could walk, but that would be almost impossible..." She said, rubbing her chin. "I usually go through the back, and walk a semi circle to the bottom." Callie said soon after, pointing at the area begins them.
She giggled when he finished seeing the look on his face."Don't worry. I like talkers." Callie poked him playfully, and began starting in the direction. She turned to look over her shoulder, "Coming?" As she walked, she threw a bit of an extra sway in her hip, it just sorta happened naturally.
She could feel his eyes on her, which strangely enough, didn't bother her. Callie stopped when they just entered the forest area."Well, trees are a bit slower, but you have lesser of a chance of getting hurt, while the ground is faster but more risky..." She had tried both and preferred climbing, but since her skills weren't up to par, she figured walking would be easier.
She sighed, and rolled her eyes as well, just playing around."I very much can handle a risk." Callie said triumphantly. She began to walk, remembering everything now. She knew to take a left turn at the large stone, and orated that nothing had changed over the years. She decided she needed to do this more.
She began to daydream a bit, as she walked. The thing about when Callie daydreamed, was she could still really focus on what she was doing, she just was in deep thought. Some of them were on Tristain, and trying to guess more about his life, the others remained on Lover's Leap. What an interesting place. So eerie, but so peaceful. She just thought it was an odd combo. They were nearing the rock, and Callie turned, looking over her shoulder at Tristain.
"Right about now." Callie returned the smirk, pausing to look at the thorns that concealed over the rest of the path. Potholes were often there too, and small lizards and snakes. If you looked to your left, you could see the water. If you slip, your in trouble. "Follow my steps okay?" She said softly, trying to remember this part.
"We can climb trees now." Callie suggested, glancing at him over her shoulder. Based on his facial expressions he didn't seem like he wanted to do this and Callie didn't blame him. Her eyes stayed on his, curious as to how he'd answer. She listened to the background noises absent mindedly, seeing what noises she recognized and which ones were new.
Callie wasn't sure what to say. I mean, she wanted to do trees, but was that wimpy? "There's an outside area over here," She pointed to her right."Where we wouldn't have to come across thorns." Callie bit her lip, now she sounded like a sissy."Let's just go there." She finished softly, gazing down.
"It's actually quicker." She grinned, hoping that would win him over. Callie remembered it to be, but it was downhill a bit more. That didn't matter. She just wanted to get down to the bottom. Even though she was always up for an adventure, this wasn't her type. Going the way she suggested is what she preferred.
Callie didn't say much, she just followed behind him, her face plain. She probably should've had them take that way originally, she just completely forgot about it until now.
She tucked her bangs behind her ear, and then theses him say something. Callie listened, laughing under her breath."Right here actually." She walked to his side, ponying out the small clearing in thorns."We walk straight, all the way down, you'll know when we get there." She said, looking up at the evening sky.
She laughed softly at his comments, watching his steps. Callie looked up when he asked her a question. She had to think about this for a few seconds."We'll... I babysit, because I love kids, and I love music as well. I sing and play the piano." She smiled a little at the ground, looking back up."I'm so interesting." She said sarcastically, pausing to bow. "What about you?" She asked in return.
As he began to talk, Callie felt interested. She smiled softly, nodding."Oh yeah, I like sports too." She shrugged, rubbing the back of her neck. As he asked her the question about how well she played she inhaled. How could she answer this?"I can't really answer that question." She smirked, stepping over a stone. "Sorry." She glanced at him, and then looked back ahead of her.
Callie didn't want to seem boastful, just something she never was. "Nope. I'm pretty shy due to that factor." She said softly, shrugging again. Callie tried not to laugh as he almost fell, asking him,"Are you okay?" She slowed down too, using her heels to have more balance. She also began to grab trees; carefully making sure there weren't thorns.
"Just with preforming I guess." She grinned, looking at him. Callie stopped, listening. They were close enough to turn."We can turn left now." She said, veering when the trees cleared.

Everyone knows the stories, people who lost their love came to jump to their deaths and such, but are they really stories?
