This is the entrance to the dorms. Girls to the right: Boys to the left.

It is an area where both genders can mingle, but be aware--the House-Head's room is just to the side.

There is a large TV and a couple couches, it's set up like a comfortable arcade.

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Alex walked into the lobby, book in hand, open and being read. He had a very unique skill, being able to read while walking. He used peripheral vision to navigate, while focusing on the words. He read at a breakneck pace, even though he was reading slowly, for him. The book was one on the proper usage on long swords. He probably should sit soon, but he didn't really care.

Shennel Muhsin | 64 comments Seated on one of the many comfortable couches in the lobby was a dark-hair senior with her nose buried in her notebook. She was scribbling away but when she heard someone enter the room, she snapped it shut and looked up only to see Alex. There wasn't much she could say about the kid aside from the fact that he was on her team. Oh and he has something about swords. Perhaps now was the opportune time to get to know the kid. "You know, it would be easier to sit and read instead of walking around and reading. Less chance of bumping into stuff," Jacqueline chirped, her lips tipped up into a smile.

message 4: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Alex ignored the voice, not caring if it was speaking to him or not. He dodged around a few people and furnishings, sitting down on the far wall. He shut the book irritated that it taught him nothing new about his favorite topic. He pulled out his pocket journal, and began writing the next chapter on a manuscript, happy to be in his element. Even though he should have been a sophomore, he skipped 11th grade, becoming a senior immediately. He ran a hand through his blonde hair, attempting to think of an idea. His green eyes gleamed slightly, the light catching them.

message 5: by Jmart (new)

Jmart After the mishap in the horse stables Sydney was not in a particularly a happy mood. Her happy and go-get-them attitude turn bitter and sour like a expire gallon of milk. After Mr. Grumpy Cat strut away with his dirty jockey outfit and horse saddle Sydney face a horrible journey in front of her. With a pair of broken glasses she was completely and utterly blind. Unable to see her own hand in front of her she was pretty much screw. Also she had two more stables to muck up. . .and she did! It was a daunting task but she did what she told Lydia she was gonna do. After she was done she pretty much walk back to the Black Glaves building arms spread out in front of her and wincing. Sydney ask some help along the way and some nice people help her along. Thank god. So by the time she reach the building she was pretty much in a ugly ass mood. Sydney gingerly open the door into the lobby of the building hoping no one was in her way. At this point Sydney was dirty from the boots up to her knees with dirt, her shirt pull up to show her flat stomach with a knot in the front, her hair pull up in a messy bun on her head, and her blue and green eyes blinking blindly as she look all around her. She needed some help here.

message 6: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Alex didn't notice, still writing. He was in a different world, making a masterpiece of literature, and he wouldn't stop to deal with the mundane affairs of reality. It just wasn't important at the moment. His pencil flew across the paper, not stopping for anything.

message 7: by Jmart (new)

Jmart Because of her currently situation she didn`t, wouldn`t, couldn`t go out and try to do battle with the stairs. Ah no. Forget it, she was not going to even try. . yet to climb the stairs and go down the long hallways trying to figure out where was her dorm. "F**** hate my life." Sydney mumble under her breath and chose to sit on the nearest couch in the lobby. It so happen to be near where Alex was feverishly scribbling in his journal. If how Sydney didn`t get his attention the stench of spending four hours in the horse stables cleaning it up would.

message 8: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Alex's nose twitched slightly, smelling something awful. "Ugh, what is that?" he murmured, looking up. He snapped his pocket notebook shut, shoving it away. He say the filthy girl and frowned. "Why haven't you changed yet?" he asked, twisting his senior ring around with his fingers.

message 9: by Jmart (new)

Jmart "The stench of deep hatred." Sydney mumble to herself and rub her temple answering Alex question. She was starting to hate this school with a deep passion. First it was Lydia and now its a asshole name Ripley, aka Grumpy Cat. Lifting her head she turn her head toward the blur face guy who ask a very stupid question. "Well I manage to arrive in one piece to this building from the end of the earth." The Stables. "And I rather not attempt to climb those stairs until I recovery from running into inanimate objects." A wagon, a bucket, a chair, a tree, a group of kids, a stone wall, and etc.

message 10: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Alex offered her his hand. "Come on," he said, tugging her to the girl's rooms, so she could get cleaned up. When she came back out, he sighed. "Why were you so filthy, anyway? Do they hate you for some reason?" he asked.

((Is she scholarship?))

message 11: by Jmart (last edited Jul 18, 2013 05:34PM) (new)

Jmart She didn`t know who this guy was but he just won some brownie points with her. Sydney can`t believe he will allow her to even hold his hand. She smell like the other end of a animal rear and she wouldn`t even touch someone, in the same position of her, who smelled like poop. Sydney didn`t come out of her bedroom for half an hour trying to wash away the stench of horse poop from every each inch of her body. With new pair of specs on she can actually see Alex. "I was mucking up the horse stables and yes. They hate me to the deepest core of there life. I assume you haven`t been at the Black Glaves initiation." Sydney inform him because then he would know her name by now.

((No. What she`s wearing -->(view spoiler)))

message 12: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "Nah, I didn't go to that. Had some practice to do," Alex said, yawning. "Why, what'd you do?" he continued. He didn't intend to get brownie points, he just was helping out a team mate. He was a senior, but swordplay had been more important than initiation.

message 13: by Jmart (new)

Jmart Sydney wish she had practice or something to miss the stupid initiation. Chugging down nasty mystery drinks, stripping down, and doing stupid direction was not what she was planning to do in the middle of the night. "What I didn`t do! That`s a better question to ask since I shot myself in the foot when I tick off the president. She wanted to make my initiation a living hell. I didn`t want to do a certain direction and I back talk her. She didn`t appreciate my attitude so she condemn the newbies to mucking the horse stables for the next two weeks."

message 14: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "Ah," Alex mused. "Well, I came in freshman year. And mine was pretty bad, but I spaced out, mostly," he said, nodding. He wondered what she wanted her to do, anyway. "Well, I'm sure some seniors don't hate you, like me," he said, paying attention, for once.

message 15: by Jmart (last edited Jul 18, 2013 05:54PM) (new)

Jmart "I really doubt it but I wouldn`t know personally." There was no way things can be worst then what she went through nor the other initiations that went on. Sydney heard that the Blue Torches was pretty bad. Most of the newbies were strip down to there bras and underwear, splash with ice cold water, and had to do some embarrassing stuff. "You don`t hate me yet with my luck I will have you hating me by the end of this week. I just made an enemy an hour ago."

message 16: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "I never hated anyone, ever," Alex said, shrugging. He'd been used to people just moving around him. He never interacted with them, anyway, unless he was at a party or something. "Anyway, I'm Alexander. Alexander Harrison Cross," he said, offering her his hand. He was the son of a famous competitive swordsman, but he doubted she knew that.

message 17: by Jmart (new)

Jmart "Yet." Sydney couldn`t help but add that to the end of that sentence. She yet to make a good friend here at KII expectation of maybe Stiles and Xavier but then again maybe not. It seems like it would be bad for her well being if she besties with others in other teams beside the great BLACK GLAVES! Yeah right, roll eyes. Taking Alexander hand she nodded and shook it. "Sydney Rome Avery Scarlet Lorraine. Nice to meet you Alexander." Sydney muse with a friendly smile. He was right, she wouldn`t have known at all since she didn`t spend most of her time watching tv, on the computer, or keep up on the world sports beside UFC and MMA because of her uncle and cousin.

message 18: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "Call me Alex," he said, nodding and smiling. "So, what are you going to do now? Have more work to do?" he asked, looking down at the girl. He was happy to have a new friend, at least. He wasn't in the mood to talk about himself, however, so he quickly offered up a topic.

message 19: by Jmart (new)

Jmart "Ok Alex." Sydney repeated and she gave him a curious look. "Not that I know of and hopefully I don`t have anything else thrown at me." Please god I don`t run into the she devil because then Sydney will find herself with more things to do. "I have no clue what to do beside getting something eat. What were you doing back downstairs before I stumble in like a big hot mess."

message 20: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "Hmm, I suppose you are pretty hot," Alex said. "And you were a mess..." he joked, laughing. "I was writing a novel," he informed, smiling. "I'm heading to the sushi bar, wanna come?" he asked.

message 21: by Jmart (new)

Jmart Sydney wasn`t sure if that was a serious comment or just a joke but it made her blush, staining her cheek a light shade of red. "Thanks." She roll her eyes and laughs a little. "Really? About what? Maybe. . .I don`t trust people making sushi if I don`t know them. Had a horrible experience with sushi."

message 22: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "I've been there a million times. I haven't gotten sick yet," Alex said, chuckling. "I'm writing about a ghost. In my book, the villain is the main character," he explained, turning to walk that way. He loved sushi with a passion.

message 23: by Jmart (new)

Jmart "Again I don`t trust people with raw fish." Sydney mumble to herself. The last time she had sushi she gotten food poisoning and it was the most horrible two days of her life. With the sweats, puking, running to the bathroom, and just completely feeling like shit. About to walk after him Sydney pause and her eyes widen. "Oh jeez! I lied! I have something to do Alex! Next time I will take up your offer to go and put my stomach on the line with the sushi bar here."

message 24: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Alex frowned, and shrugged. "Okay," he said, moving on. "See you later, I guess," he said. He was a bit disappointed, but it was alright. If she had something to do, she had something to do. No helping that, he supposed.

message 25: by Jmart (new)

Jmart Sydney bit her lower lip and curse to herself for possibly messing up a possible friendship but she had to do something first. "I`m sorry . . .talk to you later around here." Gesturing around her, they live at the same building so of course they will see each other some point.

message 26: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Alex smiled slightly, tuning around. "Yeah, see you," he said, not really feeling like sushi anymore. His footsteps began echoing away, his blonde hair retreating, about to be lost from sight, and possibly from reach. Maybe for an indefinite period of time.

message 27: by Shennel Muhsin (new)

Shennel Muhsin | 64 comments When the boy ignored her, Jacqueline shrugged and went back to her note book and continued to scribble away. It wasn't anything important, simple little things she was working on mainly for herself. Ok basically she was working on various writing prompts so that she has something to do, and since she loved to write, why not? So while Alex carried out an interaction with some other girl, who Jackie learned was the infamous Sydney, she stayed on the couch and continued to write away in her brand new notebook.

message 28: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Alex sat back in his old seat, pulling out his notebook and beginning to write again. His notebook was soon full, and he cursed. He had to buy a new one, or he couldn't finish the tenth chapter yet. If he didn't do that, he couldn't present it to the editor to see if he could get published.

message 29: by Shennel Muhsin (new)

Shennel Muhsin | 64 comments Jacqueline wasn't deaf. She heard the kid curse none too quietly and instantly looked up. A brow arched up, not because she was surprised but because she was curious about what was going on but it came down to whether Jackie should bother going over to ask him what's wrong. He ignored her once before, what was to say he wouldn't do that again. Shrugging, there was no chance in trying. Staying on the couch because Jackie was too lazy to get up, she leaned forward and said, "Hey, you all right?"

message 30: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "No," Alex replied, his attention grabbed, for the moment. "I needed to finish that chapter..." he said, running a hand through his hand and standing up. "Looks like I need a new notebook," he mentioned, sighing.

message 31: by Shennel Muhsin (new)

Shennel Muhsin | 64 comments "Ah..." Jackie nodded her head. A notebook without any room to write in it was a pretty big deal, especially to her. If Jacqueline needed to write something but didn't have any paper, her world would cease to exist. It would come tumbling down. And she will die. Dramatic? A little. But that's how it felt for her, so she could sympathize with the kid. "You can borrow some paper from me if you'd like. You know, before you get a new notebook."

message 32: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "No, I'm going out anyway," Alex said, putting his notebook in his jacket. He was pissed. D@mn. That notebook. The world would spin on. "I'm going to the sushi bar, and since you offered me material, you are invited," he informed, smiling.

message 33: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) ((Hello?))

message 34: by Shennel Muhsin (new)

Shennel Muhsin | 64 comments Jackie wasn't much of a sushi eater. In fact last time she had it she nearly threw up. Ok according to her friends, she did actually throw up but Alex didn't need to know of that. This was an opportunity to get to know Alex, and Jackie would be a fool for not taking it up. Smiling right back at him, she got off the couch and tucked her notebook under her arm. "Sure, I'd love to join you."

message 35: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Alex walked towards the door, opening it for her. He knew most people weren't sushi people, but they could always get veggie rolls. He wanted to get to know more people here, seeing as he hadn't made any real friends in the past few years, and skipping sophomore didn't help.

message 36: by Shennel Muhsin (new)

Shennel Muhsin | 64 comments (Do you want to skip on ahead to them at the sushi bar and continue it on from there? C:)

message 37: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) ((Skip, probably. I hate walking scenes.))
