Kit (kitkong) | 1175 comments Swinging herself up, Adrianna mounted the horse she picked out from the stables. Back home, she had to learn to horseback ride, why? She had not idea. Letting the horse into a gentle trot, she rubbed her mane. The horse, which she named, Butterscotch was sweet and gentle. Giggling softly she let her go faster until the wind was going through her hair and she tipped her head back as she laughed, feeling free

(This is why I don't post first -_-)

Coming for the view and not the animals, Nicholas wasn't so keen to enjoy the animal below him. He hadn't ever really liked horses, but he'd heard the trails were really pretty--and you couldn't walk them because they were so long. So here he was, stuck on this beast of an animal... again. He faintly remembered riding horses as a child, playing that stupid game with the crocket things. Nicholas had hated his mother for that, and he still held a grudge for the horse incident now.

But here he was nonetheless, saddling up with a sour expression.

Kit (kitkong) | 1175 comments Adriana had slowed down her horse after a while into a trot. Petting the horse, she looked around to see a boy on a horse. Usually she would have looked away and kept riding but his sou expression made her wonder. Horses never reacted well when their rider was in a bad mood. But then again she was never the type to go up to someone and talk. So she just watched him, he was kind of cute, even with his current expression. She smiled softly and ducked her head down, giggling and hiding behind her hair.

Once he got the hang of maneuvering around the animal, Nicholas became more comfortable. He really didn't hate horses, he just sort of disliked his mom for making him ride them. Especially when he was at such a young age, back then he was terrified. So as Nick saddled up and threw his leg over the horse, he became more at ease and his expression softened. That was, until he felt eyes on him. He clucked with his tongue, turning the horse around so he could see who was laughing at him.

Eh? He didn't recognize the girl. There was probably a good reason for that, she looked like the bubbly type. The kind of person he liked to avoid. Because... you know, he liked to avoid everyone. This was Nicholas, every single person on this planet was the bane of his existence. Aside from himself, that is. "I'm sorry, did you need something?" he asked, lashing out with his voice rudely. It was an innocent question, but the way he said it implied he was in no way going to help her with anything.
