William was pacing back and forth in the at the back of the room. Luckily it was empty: he had to talk to Vivian and didn't want anyone to overhear. So far no one knew about their summer hook up and that's the way he wanted it to stay. It was a pretty irresponsible move on his part. Liam had known the second it started that it wasn't going to last and when he told Vivian, she didn't seem to have any problem with that, which was a relief. That didn't stop him from feeling guilty about it though. He'd asked her to meet him in here in order to clear up any doubts that they may have had. All ties must be severed: that whole still be friends thing wasn't going to happen. When he really thought about it, they didn't even know that much about each other. Besides having secret relationships, they didn't share many common interests.
Liam ran a hand through his hair and checked the clock on the wall. Of course she was late. Stop being so paranoid. It's not like anyone is going to walk in and automatically realize exactly what's going on. He took a seat at one of the small tables to stop himself from pacing.

Of course Vivian was taking her time walking to the vending room. Mainly for the reason that she didn't want to to talk to William. There was nothing to clean up, right? I mean they'd ended things, and there wasn't much else to clean up right? I mean it wasn't like she'd said 'we can still be friends' or something equally cliche and untrue. Needless to say the text that he wanted to meet her here? Not something she had wanted to see, especially not when she had such an awkward run in with Lydia earlier. Gods, was she loosing her touch? She certainly hoped not. Running a hand through her hair she stepped into the room, her eyes taking in the sight of William pacing back and forth, no doubt worrying because she'd been late. Not stopping her walk to say anything to him, she headed straight for one of the vending machines. Stopping in front of it she started to rummage in her purse for her wallet, meanwhile starting to acknowledge William. "You wanted to talk?"
[haha he could just say that he wanted to make sure that what happened over the summer was staying secret and what not xD or you know....you could make something up completely and I'd just roll with it xD]
Liam looked up when Vivian entered the room. It didn't surprise him when she went straight to the vending machine before acknowledging him. He stood up and walked over to her. "Yeah, I did," he said, leaning against the vending machine as she decided what she wanted. "I was starting to think you wouldn't show up," he said with a smirk.
"I just wanted to make sure that we're good," Liam said. He hadn't realized exactly how awkward this conversation would be. They'd ended it two weeks before school started, but he felt like there was still some unfinished business between them. Only then did it occur to him that he may be the only one feeling like that. "I'm not going to ask to be friends or anything stupid like that, but I don't want you hating me or anything." Liam had been the one to end it and although she had been willing, he felt like it was his responsibility to clear the air.

As her water bottle fell out of the vending machine, resounding in the room with a rather large sort of thunk Vivian was glad that William wasn't able to see her face as she bent over and picked up the water bottle. I mean, this was the first guy to ever break up with her. Usually she broke up with most of the guys she dated. I mean that fact alone created some amount of emotion towards him, but she wasn't going to be that girl. Grabbing her water bottle she straightened and turned her chin in Williams direction, looking at him with a smile. "Of course, we're good. We're from different teams. Obviously it wasn't going to be anything long term." Shrugging her shoulders, she twisted off the cap of the drink and took a small swallow, mostly to calm herself before screwing the top back on and giving him an almost quizzical expression. "Unless," She stretched out the word a bit before continuing, "You want to admit that you're the reason there's world hunger, or you decide to tell everyone about what happened I have no reason to hate you." Dislike? Maybe. Hate? No. Not yet anyway.
"Yeah, obviously," Liam agreed. He laughed. "Well, as far as I know, my existence is neither helping nor hindering world hunger and I have no intentions to tell anyone about us," he said. He raised an eyebrow. "Dislike? I was hoping for some kind of neutrality between us," he said jokingly. "Like someone says: Hey, what do you think about that Vivian girl? And I'd say: Well, I'm pretty indifferent to her, but she's tolerable." Liam had no idea why he was rambling. If she had no hard feelings, then there was nothing for him to worry about.
Liam glanced up as a couple of people walked into the room. Seeing him and Vivian talking might strike them as a little bit odd, but nothing to raise suspicion. It wasn't fear of ruining his reputation that made him want to keep their summer fling a secret - he was a transfer kid, the only reputation he had was of being a guy with a cool accent - Liam just didn't want to become the kind of person who was comfortable with having meaningless flings. He was better than that and wasn't about to become some sort of man slut. Although, knowing that he had the potential to be one of those guys was a bit of a confidence boost.

"Tolerable? Indifferent? Please, at least say something opinionated. Tell them that you think I'm smart or at least say I have nice eyes or something." Rolling her eyes she shrugged and paused as a few people walked into the room, her eyes drifted over to their figures before returning back to William's face. It wasn't as though they would know what had happened. No one knew what had happened. Not even Lydia. Keeping that a secret from Lydia was practically killing her. It was certainly making it awkward for Vivian to even talk to the girl. "Obviously in return if anyone ever asked me about you I'd say that I admired the respect you had for other cultures, or something along those lines." Shrugging her shoulders once again she unscrewed the top of her water bottle before screwing it back on. Just sort of messing with it, tediously as she rose a brow. Sighing under her breath she frowned thinking to how he looked up at the people when they walked in, as if he was worried about being seen with her. What?! Was he actually embarrassed to have had a fling with her? Like she was something to be embarrassed about?! A toxic she'd understand, maybe, but her? Of course, that was just speculation but why else would he be so happy to keep things under wraps? Maybe she was just over-reacting. Taking another drink of water she dropped her eyes to the ground, calming herself down. After a moment she sighed and looked back up at him, her voice lowered as she spoke, "Look, I get it. Just have an opinion when people ask about me, otherwise that will raise suspicion."
Liam contained a laugh. "You do realize I was kidding, right? Honestly, who describes other people as tolerable?" he asked. Apparently his humor was a little too dry for her. But now that she mentioned it, her eyes were nice. He wasn't sure if that was just the forst thing that had popped into her head or of she actually got complimented about them often, but either way, he definitely hasn't noticed that before, which made him feel like even more of a jerk. They'd spent a lot of the summer together and before now, if someone had asked what color her eyes were, he would have had no idea. Granted, most of their summer activities were performed with their eyes closed, but still.
"And if someone asks you about me, please come up with something a little less boring than 'respects other cultures.' That's just sad," Liam said, shaking his head. "You can say something about my adorable freckles," he suggested with a smile. "That's all anyone seems to talk about anyway." So he had a lot of freckles, it wasn't cause for school-wide panic.

Ha. Like hell she would go around complimenting his freckles....or his deep blue eyes. Those two things happening to have been the first things she noticed about him. Either way it didn't matter, no one would ever ask her about him. Smiling she nodded, "Yeah. I'll just rave about your accent instead." Fluttering her lashes in a sarcastic way she scoffed as she shook her head in complete sarcasm. Everyone knew he had an accent, and saying she liked his accent? That was crazy. But no one would ever ask her about him anyway, so she didn't have anything to worry about. After her scoff died she let silence hang for a few seconds before clearing her throat and smiling at him, all politeness. "So, we done here? I have to get to class, I already ditched one class for Lydia." The very idea of missing another class, or even being late to it just to talk to William....someone who obviously didn't think much of her. Well, that was an ego crusher. First guy to break up with her, and also apparently the first who was happy to keep her some dirty little secret. Was this how whores felt? Gods, this was bad. Just thinking her brows furrowed slightly as her lips thinned at the mental comparison. Vivian Lennox being compared to some D class whore. She'd never have thought of that before. Nope. No. She had to get away from William soon, the more time she spent around him, the more she thought about him, the more dents her ego took.
Liam rolled his eyes. Honestly, it was like no one at this school had ever heard an accent before. The school was located only miles away from Australia for goodness' sake. You'd think he was an alien the way people gawked at him when he spoke. Fortunately he wasn't quite so new anymore so it wasn't as bad. And he knew that Vivian was used to his accent by now. "Sure, seeing as that seems to be my only redeeming quality," he said.
"Yeah, I guess we're done here," Liam said. The conversation had suddenly gotten a lot more awkward. What was he supposed to say now? Goodbye Vivian sounded much too formal, like he was about to die or something. It's been fun. No, now he just sounded like git. And what was he supposed to do? Give her a hug? A handshake? Wow, he hadn't expected this to require so much thought. "Well, I wouldn't want you to miss class," he said. "See you around, Vivian," he said, giving her a kiss on the cheek before walking out. He doubted the other people in the room noticed the kiss, they were facing the other way.

Vivian stared at the doorway that Liam had just left through, eyes slightly widened. Part of her wanted to bring her hand up to her cheek and savor the moment, but that was crazy, he was just a boy after all. On the other hand, part of her wanted to go wash her cheek in acid as if he had diseased her or something. Again, ridiculous. Shaking her head and pursing her lips she did the only thing she could do. Texted Lydia telling her she had something to tell her, and then heading off to her class, hoping that something interesting might happen in the first day to distract her from the odd encounter that had just occurred.
After doing a quick classroom work for English, dare that subject, Sydney made a run to the vending room. She came to the decision when she ask someone if the cafeteria was open was what room did they not have! Like seriously they have so many rooms in this school that it wouldn't surprise her if she open a door to Narnia. Opening the door she was met face to face to a room full of, what look like, brand new vending machine never once been use. Oooo how nice looking. Not as interesting as the ones in Tokyo because those things are just plainly adorable but it was pretty cool. Looking around the room she peek at the closest machine to see what they had in there for her to buy and snack on.
Evangelina had wandered out of class after finding out that they would only be watching a movie as their teacher was out for the day. And knowing her class there would be anything but note taking on the movie as there would be of fooling around and wasting time. So if Evangelina was going to waste her time, she wasn't going to waste it in that class. She'd rather go around and do her own little thing. Not that anyone would give a crap. She was so toxic the teachers hardly spoke to her. Evangelina made her way to the vending machines. She checked the prices, noting how expensive all the items were. She still wasn't use to this lifestyle. But she was hungry, so she may as well spend the money to get something.
Money was never a problem for Sydney since her parents made a butt loads through there travels. They get pay for actually traveling around the world looking at the ruins of ancient civilizations and figuring out how the people live. With that said it made her a little sad and miss her parents even more. They`re probably in Mexico about now looking at the ruins of the Aztecs. Mysterious people who were on the top of world, biggest empire in Mexico then one day they just completely disappear. Just like that! Nobody knows what happen to them expect themselves which they taken to there graves. With a heavy sigh Sydney turn her head to the next machine. She only lifted her head and rip her gaze away from the machines when another person, a girl, came in. Huh I thought class was in use. Sydney thought to herself. Looking back at the candy stock in there she sighs a little and pouted. "No pocky`s." She love her Japanese candy.
Unlike Sydney, Evangelina did not miss her parents in the slightest. She didn't really have any family to miss actually. Her foster parents were strangers who just paid for her stuff and so she was seen but not spoken too. Probably just took her in to raise their social status or something. Show what saints they were, taking in the poor abused and broken girl. Giving her a home and school. Maybe she would have bought into it if it hadn't been for the fact they sent her off to this hellhole a week after she saw them. Evangelina didn't say anything to the other girl in the room. She was a toxic after all. She didn't even hear what the girl had said as her headphones were over her ears as always.
Still kinda of new she still didn't know the social standing of everyone at the school. In turn means Sydney didn't know that she shouldn't talk to the girl next to her since she was a toxic, whatever that meant. To her, well now, Sydney was already in deep trouble with people on her own team so the smart thing for her to do was not get in any more trouble. Right? Well she wasn't smart in term of speaking to the right people because she was about to talk to the girl. Moving closer to the girl she innocently look after vending machine she was eyeing and decided to get a snack from that one. " Hello?" Sydney said shyly to the girl with a friendly smile on her face. "Can I reach over you and get something from the machine?"
Evangelina turned her head as the other girl spoke to her. Unusual in the least. Most would reach around or push her out of the way. It either meant that this girl was new, or was one of the few polite one's. Evangelina wasn't too familiar with all the girls at the school. Toxic usually meant ignored. Which meant Evangelina didn't care to notice anyone too much either. Either way, Evangelina wasn't about to argue about who should say what to what, where, why and how. Social standings were confusing as they were, no need to say anything and confuse herself or the girl more. The girl would figure it out soon enough. She looked smart. Evangelina nodded and moved out of the way.
