Standing at the edge of the floor mat, Ariella stared down at it, tilting her head to the side as she prepared to pull a stunt. She just couldn't stop staring though. Her feet were already dipped in chalk, she was physically ready... yet she just stood there, staring. She wasn't even thinking about anything... like the class she had ditched to come here, or the looks she was getting from boys that thought they were hot stuff, or even her roommate the at wasn't so sure she liked all that much yet.

She reached up to tighten her ponytail, carefully pulling it so her long her wouldn't spill out when she flipped. That small motion seemed to set it all in place, so Ariella took a running start and practiced her routine. The music was all in her head, and it all flowed through pretty easy. Until she felt someone watching her, then she stopped, glancing towards the edge of the mat. The gym was supposed to be closed--she'd only turned on a few lights, and she'd had to pick the lock on the door. Who else could possibly have followed her? It was like first period.

Ari squinted, and it took her a moment to realize it was Brandon that had followed her. Why had he? They'd spoken for a bit at the dance, but he was mostly talking to Kalei, not her. Maybe he was curious? Ugh whatever, she really didn't have time for this. Or did she? Maybe. "I'm pretty sure I unlocked the locked gym for a reason." she countered, bending backwards into a handstand. If it wasn't obvious, Ariella wasn't trying to cause any type of chaos. She just wanted to practice.

"I mean, I wouldn't want to raise the teacher's expectations. I probably won't go to a lot of classes, if I'm punctual on the first day, they'll think I'm capable of it." she smiled, staring down at the mat instead of looking at him. Ariella would fall flat on her back if she didn't at least concentrate a little bit on the simple task. "Never be good at anything you don't like. School? I don't like it. So why'd you follow me?"
