(view spoiler)With her Gothic style gown trailing behind her slightly, Sybilla searched the garden for Harris. She hadn't bumped into him yesterday at the dance, making the event rather dull for her, so obviously she had to search for her only friend today, lest she find herself spending the day writing poetry in some corner of the school, only to suddenly be confronted by someone like Sadie. After all, that's the way her luck tended to lean. It wasn't too horrid being outdoors anyways, it being quite serene. That's why she believed Harris might be hiding out here, the lack of people. Personally she also found the fact that the garden reminded her of the one back at her manor comforting as well.
"Hello Harris," Sybilla told him when she finally found her way to his bench, flashing him one of her rare true smiles. It made her seem rather like an average person for a while, if you could look past the rather unique clothing and make-up. Of course, she only ever offered more than a meek half-smile to those she considered a friend, which, with her unfortunate reputation and the whole Team thing Kale Ivy had going, only ended up being Harris.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
(S'okay, and sorry, I fell asleep...)"Well enough, I suppose, although I cannot say I am eager that school is starting up again," Sybilla answered, glancing over at his laptop screen. She couldn't say he understood anything on it though. So far email ended up being the only part of computers and the like that she truly understood. However, she was rather determined to learn to understand the internet this school year. Her mother obviously wouldn't be too thrilled if she found out about this, or any of her daughter's secret pastimes. However, she wasn't planning on being clueless to the world simply because Naomi viewed Sybilla as her youngest 'baby'. Nope, she was almost a grown-up and it was time for her to make her own decisions. "What about you? I imagine the dance was not nearly as entertaining for you as it was for some people," Sybilla then asked him, noting how lovely the sunlight looked shining on his hair out of the corner of her eye. Her own blonde was rather pale an lifeless, but unlike other girls she didn't really feel like putting the effort in to fix it, but rather let it hang that way.
("Harris had really never seen Sybilla hang around anyone other than him" I don't know why, but that just shined some new light on her situation for me...)"Well, it could have been worse, seeing as I brought a book..." Sybilla admitted quietly, though slightly hesitantly. Harris was really her only friend, and it wasn't a secret, but she still didn't exactly love saying that aloud, particularly not in front of him. She knew it was rather foolish of her considering Harris really didn't seem the type to date, but she'd developed a bit of a crush on him. He was, after all, cute, smart, and one of the few people who would talk to her. It wasn't going to end well on her part though, she already knew that, and was therefore content with him as a friend.
(I don't, mostly... Well actually, maybe a little, but I generally like to torture my characters... With Sybilla, I'd like her to become a train wreck and shock everyone by reverting to wearing normal-ish clothes and doing normal-ish things and be all depressed and see what happens from there. I'm an extremely sadistic person when it comes to my roleplaying characters oftentimes... Although, I have to ask, with Harris, I take it he's never ever going to have a romantic relationship?)"Yes, it probably would have... Did you end up interacting with anyone else instead?" Sybilla asked him curiously. Though Harris definitely was far from social, he did generally spend more time around others than she did at least. She couldn't imagine who would talk to him though, considering talking to her was almost as bad as talking to those considered 'social toxic'. Of course that was only due to the fact that most people seemed to assumed she hated everything and everyone. It wasn't her fault that her mother had raised her in more old-fashioned clothing, while she herself preferred dark colors. Honestly she didn't get why that automatically meant she had to be labeled as a Goth and filed away into one of the lower levels of Kale Ivy's hierarchy... Perhaps her sisters were correct and she should have attempted to find... Less abnormal clothing. It seemed like it was too late to correct that mistake though...
(I see, well a warning, I get the feeling that Sybilla's going to try to make him really like her for real somehow... Oh, and, seriously, I'm like super curious now, why on Earth does Harris like Nickolson?)"Nickolson..." Sybilla repeated quietly, it sounding like half a question. She'd seen him around, of course, seeing as he was a Blue Torch like herself, and she knew that most of the other girls were rather attracted to him. However, Sybilla herself simply found Nickolson rather intimidating, though she couldn't exactly put her finger on why... She'd never even truly spoken to him. Then again, she did find that many guys who were taller than her intimidated her, so perhaps it wasn't really anything of importance. Still, that didn't mean she'd be holding a conversation with him anytime soon. "So what project are you working on?" she asked Harris, knowing that she couldn't possibly truly understand, but it seemed like it was only polite to ask.
(Pretty much, kk, and lawl)"Oh... That is nice of you," Sybilla smiled once she understood what he was talking about. Rather suddenly she realized though that the fact that he was working reminded her of how she'd spent most of her day in the library, and due to that hadn't eaten much. Sure, she wasn't necessarily starving, but it couldn't hurt for her to grab something to eat. "I don't suppose you feel like going to the cafeteria?" Sybilla asked him. It would be nice to have company for a change, rather than simply trying to dart in and out as fast as she could. However, if he was busy, she'd probably just head to the Blue Torch kitchen and quickly wipe up a salad or something of the sort. Really one of the things she missed at school was the opportunity to cook her own meals. There wasn't an exact reason she generally avoided doing so here, but rather a combination, though the idea of doing something of the sort now didn't seem to bad. After all, there was only a slim chance someone was currently occupying the space...
"Yeah, later," Sybilla smiled back before making her way out of the garden and towards the cafeteria. Truth was she thought that she'd probably head to the practice room or perhaps her dorm room to practice her harp for the rest of the day. After all, she'd already finished all her summer homework at the beginning of summer vacation and didn't exactly have people she could socialize with. Plus, she'd already spent enough time in the library for the day. As much as she loved reading, Sybilla couldn't do it all day. Although... Heading to the stables didn't sound too terrible either.
Ophelia noticed Antonio following her. She glanced back and there he was in the distance, it wasn't hard to spot him, which made her smile a little but she knew that she couldn't just approach him just yet. So with a plan in mind, Ophelia changed directions, and instead headed on towards the Garden. Sure there might be people there, but there was a spot there, a spot where there was a small clutter of trees that she and Antonio often snuck off to after they first started hooking up. It was a good place to keep them hidden from view of anyone that passed by; though this meant they would always have to keep their voices low. So, upon arriving in the garden, Ophelia quietly made her way to the trees, then waited for Antonio to catch up.
Antonio saw Ophelia glanced back and felt a little guilty. It was probably prime stalker-boyfriend behavior to follow a girl wherever she went. Then Ophelia veered off the main path in a smaller path towards the gardens. Antonio knew where she was going. They used to call the place "the Fortress," way back when they had discovered it in Ophelia's freshman year. They didn't go there often any more, mostly because, even though it was hidden, you couldn't make very much noise or others in the garden would easily hear you.He picked up his pace, trying not to seem hurried but at the same time wanting to get to Ophelia as soon as possible. Antonio came to the clump of trees in the garden, looked around to check that no one was there, and slipped into the Fortress.
Ophelia dropped her book bag to the side, letting it rest against the base of a tree as she waited for Antonio. She wondered if he was mad at her because she was talking to Basil. Well she would explain to him that it wasn't a big deal and that nothing was happing. Though Ophelia was a little hesitant on telling him that she was now friends with Basil, which shouldn't be a big deal really, and it wasn't as if Tony could stop her from befriending Basil --she was doing this for them anyways. He should be able to understand that. Right? When Tony finally arrived, she instantly smiled up at him, though it was a slightly nervous smile. "Hey," she said softly.
"Hi." Antonio grinned down at Ophelia. "How's it going?" He wondered why she looked nervous. Was someone following them? Did they see him come behind the trees? "Who did you see at the gazebo last night?" he asked her, getting right to the point. That was the question that had been nagging him ever since the dance. He guessed it was either Serenity or the new guy, since they were the ones he had seen talking as he came out of the gazebo. He didn't even know why it was so important to him to know - it wasn't really like he could do anything about it.
The gazebo. Ophelia frowned a little when he mentioned it. In all honesty, she hadn't been sure someone was watching him, she just had a feeling someone was. Sheepishly, she admitted just that. "Oh uh I don't know who I saw, I just felt like someone was watching us," she mumbled, looking down at her feet. "Sorry about slapping you. I just...I was scared and I didn't know what else to do." Turning her gaze back up at him, she asked, "Does it hurt? I'm so sorry, Tony. I hadn't meant to hurt you...I just..." She was scared. Ophelia was always scared. She loved Antonio, but she was scared of getting caught, which didn't sit well with her because she hated feeling like this. "And I'm sorry about dancing with Basil... I didn't have a choice..."
"Oh." That didn't answer what Tony really wanted to know. He wanted to know if Serenity was a threat to him and Ophelia. "No! It doesn't hurt at all," he hurried to say. He really did understand that they had to do whatever it took to not be caught. "But," he continued, attempting to lighten the mood, "if you kiss it, it will all be okay." He tapped his cheek and wiggled his eyebrows comically at Ophelia."And I don't care about Basil. I trust you, Ophelia. I would have done the same," he said, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into him.
Ophelia instantly smiled, leaning up and kissing him on the cheek. "There, all better now?" she giggled softly. Whilst she was still worried, she felt a little relieved that he wasn't mad at her about the slapping, which was then followed by dancing with another guy. Okay, so maybe Ophelia could have said no to Basil when it came to the dancing, but to her, she felt as if she had no choice. After all, Basil was a good way to cover up the fact that she was having a relationship with someone outside of her group. Wrapping her arms around Antonio, Ophelia simply smiled up at him, glad they were finally able to have some time together, however short it may be. "Good because I promise you that nothing is going on between us." Or ever will for that matter. There was only one guy in Ophelia's life that she truly cared about, obviously that was Antonio. They have been together for two years now, so it was safe to say that she was committed to him. "Although I'm having lunch with him later today, but it's no big deal." She bit her lip and shook her head; she didn't want to think about Basil anymore. "Anyways, how've you been, love? How'd first day of classes go for you?" she asked, smiling up at him again.
"It's perfect." And it was. Antonio really did understand that Ophelia had to keep their cover. Sure, he would have loved to be the one dancing with her, and the one eating lunch with her today, but that was unfortunately out of the question. He wanted her to have a life. And if that life included having guy friends on her own team, whom Antonio may or may not be jealous of, well, that was tough luck for him. Ophelia could make her own choices. He was extremely grateful that their relationship was a good one. Of course they'd had their rough spots over the years that they'd been together - Tony could count at least three times they'd broken up and gotten back together - but for the most part, he and Ophelia got along extremely well with very little arguments while they were together. This was very unlike Tony's parents, who could never agree on anything. Ever.
"I've been fine. Classes are good, so far." Antonio thought about the play he hadn't read for English. Wait! Ophelia was a Shakespeare expert: he should ask her. "I was wondering if you could give me a synopsis of The Taming of the Shrew. I was too busy thinking about you over the summer to read it."
Ophelia rested her hands on his chest, picking at little nothings on his shirt as she stood so close to him. At his question about something he was supposed to read over the summer, she shook her head and sighed. "Perhaps you should just sit down and read it? I have a copy of it in my room. We can even read it together if you'd like." Her tone was teasing but there was a chance she was being serious. It was always like this. Not always with Tony, but it was always like this with other people who knew her. Just because she knew just about every single play ever written, people would come to her when they were stuck reading one in one of their classes. Ophelia didn't mind helping people but at the same time she just couldn't understand why they couldn't just sit down and read it for themselves. There was nothing wrong with plays. They were simple to understand if people would just focus their little brains for one damn second.
Obviously this was something that has bothered her for a while now. "Mhm, you were too busy thinking of me? I thought about you too, but I still finished my summer reading." She raised a brow at him, looking as if she wasn't going to budge on the subject.
"Oh, come on. It's supposed to be done tomorrow. I don't read quickly." Antonio gave Ophelia the puppy eyes. "But, hm, how could I resist spending more time with you?" He could kind of tell that she was bothered. He wondered what it would be like if he knew a lot here was to know about Shakespeare and everyone was always asking him for help. Maybe she thought he was stupid. Maybe he was, compared to Ophelia. "It's confusing," he protested, "all that iambic pentameter and old English. Plus, I read all three other books that were assigned." He looked directly into her eyes sincerely, then bent down to whisper in her ear. "Pleeeeeeeease."After Ophelia left, Antonio went back to his dorm.
Seef woke to a bright ray of sunshine. He blinked and put his arms over his eyes, wishing the light would go away so he could go back to sleep. The patch of grass was soft and comfortable, and his hand was held in someone else's warm palm, their fingers twisting together in a reassuring way.Wait. Grass? Sun? Hand?
Now Seef was fully alert. He wiped the sleep from his eyes with the hand that wasn't being held and sat up, blinking. He took in his surroundings. He was in the garden, on the small patch of grass near its heart. Lying next to him was Adriana, the girl who he'd hit it off with last night at initiation. Right. They had come to the garden to talk, and... fallen asleep. Seef glanced at the sky, where the sun was just over the horizon. At least it wasn't very late. And at least no one had found the two of them before Seef woke up. He gently withdrew his hand from Adriana's so he could stretch and crack his knuckles. He was exhausted. It had been a late night what with initiation and everything. He wondered how the other Blue Torch's had made it back to the dorms. Had anyone missed him or Adriana?
Adrianna mumbled softly when she felt her pillow move away. Wait, what kind of pillow moved? Peeking, she was able to see what, or rather who moved. A boy. A BOY! Her eyes snapped open, the slight breeze making it obvious to her that she was still in her bra and panties. A blush settled itself on her cheeks as she looked up at him.She had not been expecting this.
Feeling the urge to stretch, she stretched out like a cat. "Good morning,"She murmured, embarrassed as she saw her clothes a few feet away from her. That's right, she had put them over there to dry. They had gotten wet during the whole lake thing, along with- Glancing at his chest, she blushed brighter. That's right, Seef's shirt. After initiation, they headed here to talk but they must have fallen asleep. She only hoped that no one saw them. Not that she was embarrassed of him but she knew how rumors flew around here and it would probably be turned into something it wasn't. She glanced at him once more, shyly. She had never woken up with a boy before or anyone as a matter of fact. Was he going to be embarrassed and leave?
"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty," Seef said cheerfully. "How'd you sleep?" He had pretty much gotten over his shock by now. He glanced around the garden, taking in the bees who that were just waking up and the cool-but-not-too-cool air that was starting to warm up for a hot day. A warm breeze brushed by his cheek, and he couldn't contain his smile. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, so it was sure to be beautiful today. He continued looking around until he came to Adriana, who was now awake... and in her underwear. He looked to her clothes a few feet away, where she had set them to dry the night before, and flushed slightly. Okay, so, they had been skin-to-skin in the pond a few hours ago, and also apparently using each other for pillows and warmth, but this was broad daylight and there was something starkly more embarrassing about it. And the garden was a public place and if someone happened to come upon them, together on the grass... oh god. Especially since he was shirtless. Wait. Shirtless? Oh. That's right - Adriana had been the one to take off his shirt at initiation. And it was still back at the pond.
Okay, he greeted her. Did that mean he wasn't leaving? "Sleeping Beauty was awaken by a kiss but I will take the compliment,"She surprised herself, this confidence wasn't her. But whenever she was around Seef, it came naturally. Maybe it just came with the 'Seef Special.' Rubbing her eyes she did her best to run her hand through her hair and untangle it. "I slept good though, I had a very nice pillow,"She winked at him, still making no motion to go get her clothes and put them on."What about you? Sleep well?" She asked curiously as she put her hair up with the hair tie around her wrist. Her eyes immediately found their way to his chest. Damn it! Why did he have to be so muscular?! It wasn't fair, but she managed to tear her eyes away and focus on the pond. However every couple of seconds or so she would sneak glances at his wonderful chest. Deciding she needed to stop, she took one look at his unsuspecting face and jumped on him, sending him down to the grass, laying down as she straddled him. Leaning sown, their faces were inches apart. "I had a very nice sleep, accompanied by a very good start for the morning." She murmured softly, glancing down at his lips for a second before looking at his face again.
"Oh, do you want a kiss?" Seef said, half teasing. Truth be told, he would like very much to kiss Adriana. Very very much. Plus there was the fact that neither of them had very many clothes on, and Adriana was not looking like she was going to change that soon. Seef couldn't decide if this was a good thing or a bad thing. A good thing because, well, she was hot, and a bad thing because if he stared (which he was trying not to do but not exactly succeeding) he would feel even more embarrassed than he already was. "I'm glad I could be of service," he said, sticking to his usual banter. "I slept excellently, considering someone else was using me for a pillow." He fixed his gaze on Adriana's face, telling himself he would not allow himself to look farther down. However, Adriana didn't seem to be doing as good a job controlling herself as he was (or he thought he was). He couldn't pretend he didn't see her eyes flicking towards his chest. Which was a good thing, right? It meant she liked what she saw. And Seef had worked hard over the summer to make sure any girl who saw him shirtless would like what they saw. Only he hadn't quite expected this to happen so soon. He opened his mouth to make some stupid sort of comment along these lines -
When suddenly Adriana was straddling him, and he was flat on his back on the grass, and her face was way way close to his (but not in an awkward way) and he couldn't find his words... "I think," Seef murmured finally, feeling breathless but not because of her weight on his chest, "that Sleeping Beauty is just asking for a kiss."
Adriana cocked her head,"Who said I wanted a kiss?" Her eyes flickered over to his lips once more as she traced the outline of his face softly. "All I wanted was to thank you for letting me use you as a pillow,"She told him innocently, batting her eyes at him. IT was weird, usually she was that naive and innocent but she just felt so confident and comfortable with Seef that it brought out another part of her personality that was usually hidden by her intense shyness. Suddenly a smirk came onto her own lips, he might have seen her looking at his chest but she just knew that he was struggling to not look away from her face. "What about your prince? You might want the kiss but your eyes seemed to be wandering elsewhere,"She grinned wickedly, showing him she knew where he wanted to look. She couldn't but think about what her mother would say. Her mother raised her to be a lady and ladies certainly did not jump someone into a lake, sleep with them outside, and tackle them while admiring their chest. But she liked Seef, maybe really liked him. It was her own parent's fault, for keeping her cooped up. Maybe they shouldn't have home schooled her, her entire life. Maybe then she wouldn't be in this position, straddling Seef. So in her defense, it wasn't her fault.
"OR maybe I shouldn't give you a kiss,"She murmured softly. "After all you did squirt me in the face during initiation and you are the reason I had to chew that old gum,"Her nose wrinkled at the thought. But if you could convince me otherwise, I'll give you a kiss."
Seef's cheeks reddened further as Adriana mentioned that he wanted to look elsewhere. She was dead accurate, of course, but he thought he'd been doing an okay job at hiding it, unlike her. He struggled to hide his embarrassment with a grin, flashing his pearly whites at her. "I'd like a kiss just as much as anything else," he told her. Who would have thought that, just a couple of days after arriving at Kale, he'd find himself in this situation? He met Adriana's gaze squarely, even though his cheeks were flaming and his heart rate was up about a hundred percent. He liked this girl. Seef had had girlfriends before, yes, but none at Kale Ivy. His freshman year he'd been too busy trying to get into Student Council and finding himself swamped with schoolwork like he'd never been before to go date hunting. At middle school, the girls who'd dated him had always been wary of Seef's, um, eccentric parents. He'd never had a relationship that lasted very long.
Anyway. Back to the topic at hand, which was more than intriguing. "I'm sorry for torturing you at initiation," Seef said, heaving a great sigh and putting on his best wide puppy dog eyes. "I was being an obedient, mindless puppy. But now I've grown up and my master isn't around." He suddenly heaved himself up, rolling over so Adriana was now on the bottom and Seef was the one straddling her. "Allow me to make it up to you," he begged.
Adriana giggled as he obviously got embarrassed when she caught him. "Caught red handed,"She whispered softly into his ear. "You bad boy"She winked at him, unable to hold in another laugh. She was thinking it was probably the fact that she was older that he might want to look at her breasts. She didn't have large breasts, they were a little more than average but she did have an hourglass figure. "Hmm,"She pretended to think as she tapped her chin. "Should I be worried that your hormones will jump me because your a younger boy? And not an older man?" She teased him, the fact that she was a senior and he a sophomore. Yet he was still taller than her.She had never had a boyfriend before, after all she had been cooped up her entire life nor had she had crushes. The most she got to a crush was thinking the actors in movies as t.v. were cute. Well she almost had a boyfriend, a fake anyways. A politicians son but it turned out he only took her on a few dates o his father would gain more popularity since her dad was a popular politician and because in his words she was,"Hot." Needless to say she never saw him again and his father never made it big thanks to her own.
She snapped back to attention when she caught sight of his puppy dog eyes and she nearly succumbed to him. She loved cute things and was a romantic in the heart. "Oh?" Cocking an eyebrow she met his gaze as he flipped them and she let out a small squeal. "How will you make it up time?" She asked softly.
"Oh, come on," Seef protested. He had thought about the age difference between he and Adriana, but he'd figured she didn't care since she was the one who'd dragged him into the lake, after all. Yes, he was a teenage boy, and yes, his hormones were raging (especially in this situation), but he hopes Adriana would trust that what he felt wasn't just lust. Okay, so, she had breasts. Big deal (actually, it was a big deal, but still). It was a first for Seef in that he'd never been so undressed with a girl before. "These hormones are wearing me down," he said, finally resorting to teasing because that, at least, was one thing he knew how to do. "You have no idea how hard it is to keep them under control. Without them I'd be a beast. Ripping off your clothes and everything." Wait. Was that too far? If possible, Seef blushed even deeper. Well, what was said was said. Nothing to do about it now."What do you want me to do?" Seef asked her softly. "Would you like to fetch some old gum for me to chew? Shove me in the pond again? Whatever you wish, my lady." Obviously his puppy eyes had some effect, so he continued to use them.
Adriana laughed as he seemed to pout when she pointed out their age difference. No she's didn't care, in fact she started this.. Whatever it was between them but it was fun to tease him with it. "Mmm you would be tearing my clothes off if you didn't have control of your hormones?" She cocked an eyebrow at his sudden cockiness. "That sure is cocky of you when you can't even get me to kiss you," She murmured as her eyes met his once more and her smirk grew. "But lets get one fact straight, if anyone here is ripping of clothes, be sure that it will be who will your clothes off." She winked and couldn't help herself as her lips met his neck and she kissed softly before closing them around his neck and sucking softly. Who knew she was such a tease? Certainly not her, she kind of liked it though. When he asked her what to do, she hated to break away from his neck but she had too. "I don't know but I'll give you a hint,"Her voice was soft, not looking away from the red mark that was forming before staring at his lips. "I like romantic things." Suddenly her lips were on his as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down. "You have to do something to make it up to me or I won't kiss to ya gain,"She murmured before kissing him once more.
Seef pouted more as Adriana laughed at him, then brightened as she changed the subject. "I wouldn't tear of your clothes. It would be the beast I'm suppressing," he corrected. It was an embarrassing joke, and maybe he shouldn't have made it, but he had and he had to go along with it. "There aren't even many clothes left to rip off," he pointed out in response to her third sentence, and it was true. Adriana was already in just her underclothes, and Seef's shirt was long gone, so that didn't leave very much left. He shut up quickly when she kissed his neck, biting his lip to keep from gasping out loud or something embarrassing like that. Seef looked straight ahead, past Adriana's shoulder to the grass, feeling entirely paralyzed.A hint, she'd give him a hint. Romantic. Seef hardly had time to register what Adriana was saying before they were kissing. If he was having trouble breathing before, he couldn't breathe at all now. But he didn't care. All he cared about was kissing her back, gently, but still insistently. He willingly lowered himself to the ground beside her when she pulled him down. "I will. I'll make it up to you," he whispered, but he almost didn't even know what he was saying. Then Adriana kissed him again, and Seef found that he didn't care if he knew what he was saying.
Adriana didn't know if she was a good kisser. She's never kissed anyone before or had a real boyfriend. She wasn't even sure what Seef was to her. But she knew, she would like for him to be her boyfriend. Making a mental note to ask him later about their relationship she felt a bit embarrassed oh the reason, why she did know what to do. She was a romantics, she loves romantic movies which meant kissing. And well, all those years of watching Ryan Gosling had paid off. His lips were warm and to her delight he was kissing her back. It made this seem more real. She was glad her don't reject her, because she found that she really did like this boy. I mean she as kissing him.Movies, Ryan Gosling, and Seef's out of breath replies an dazed looks made her think she was a good kisser. Had to be, you don't stun boys like that if you weren't. Pulling back, she took his bottom lip between her lips and gently pulled, teasingly. Her hands went down to his chest, tracing out his muscles softly, roaming everywhere on his chest. "I you don't I won't kiss you anymore. Would you want that to happen?" She let go of his lip as went back to sucking his neck, her big blue eyes waiting for his answer. His answer would decide if she would kiss him again.
(view spoiler)
(view spoiler)It wasn't Seef's first kiss. He'd kissed two girls in his lifetime besides Adriana (and not including family members). First was a girl when he was in preschool, whose name he'd forgotten. He felt kind of bad about that. Anyway, she'd moved away in first grade and Seef had never seen her again. Second was Rosalyn, his eighth grade girlfriend, who'd broken up with him after Seef's parents tried to tell her an extremely detailed horoscope. But kisses with Rosalyn had never been like Adriana's kisses. Seef didn't fancy himself a good kisser or a bad kisser, simply someone who knew how to kiss. Adriana was a very good kisser, as far as he knew. Certainly better than Rosalyn.
Last night at initiation, Seef wouldn't have picked Adriana out to be so bold and such a good kisser. She'd seemed very shy and afraid of the evil twins. Then again, almost everyone was. Seef recalled Adriana telling him that her confidence with him was part of the Seef Special. He liked the Seef Special. A lot.
But then she pulled back. Seef was disappointed. He didn't know how long they'd been kissing. Maybe a long time, but it didn't feel like long enough. He brought his hands up to rest on her shoulders as she ran her fingers over his chest. "I don't want that to happen," he said in reply to her question, meaning for it to come out strong and confident, but as her lips went back to his neck, the air whooshed out of his lungs and his words came out as a strangled sort of whisper.
Adriana laughed against his neck when she heard his strangled reply. In all honestly, she seemed to be taking it better than he was. But she was the one who knew how to tease thanks to her romantic heart. "Good answer,"She murmured as she felt his hands rest on her shoulders as he own explored his wonderful chest. God he really shouldn't eve wear a shirt. It should be illegal for anyone with a chest like that to cover it up. Maybe she did like muscular guys, who knew? Still, it's not like he hasn't seen her staring before so he shouldn't be surprised at her wandering hands. And in all honestly he seemed tone enjoying everything she did. So it really didn't matter, not like they were gonna have sex or anything. Last night or any other night she wouldn't have imagined this to happen. No, she never even expected a boy to like her, not to mention kissing her and being blown away by what she was doing to him. Especially not Seef who had sprayed her and did whatever Pierce wanted but here she was, enjoying it. And she really did not want it to end.
She took that chance to evaluate the position they were in. Their legs were tangled together, her arms around his neck, lips at his neck, with her hand roaming his chest. On the other hand he had his hands on her shoulders, clothes mostly off, and a few hickies she made him. "Mmm do you want me to kiss you again?" She purred into his ear, liking being a tease even if her lips were begging to be on his again. And his own seemed to big to be kissed.
Seef had always prided himself on knowing what to say and how to relieve tense situations. But here he was, practically putty in the hands of a girl he'd met just last night, with a shaky voice and all. It was humbling, yes, but also quite literally breathtaking. He found himself wondering how many people Adriana had kissed, since she was quite good at it. On another note, she seemed to be really enjoying his abs. That, he could live with. For a long time. As she traced his muscles, he looked into her eyes, enjoying the way they matched the color of the sky. He didn't talk, because recently talking hadn't exactly been working on his side. He just looked.Seef wondered what would happen if someone happened to walk into the garden just about now. He and Adriana weren't in a position that could be untangled easily. It would be extremely awkward, most likely, but at least he could diffuse awkward situations. He felt a surge of pride that he was here with a senior girl. Wasn't that what all sophomore guys dreamed of? Take that, Rosalyn!
Did he want her to kiss him again? Seef wondered why she even had to ask. But of course she had to be a tease. Girls liked to do that. In reply, Seef turned his head towards where her lips were by his ears and kissed her. He was still avoiding talking if he could help it.
As his lips met her's, Adriana slowly started to unwind, relaxing and melting into him. She wondered who was in control, most of the times it seemed to be her but now? Now god she felt like puddy, melting into him like that, their lips devouring each other. She wasn't surprised when he kissed her, it was obvious he wanted too. It was like saying she liked his chest, that was obvious by the way her hands explored and how her eyes has always seem to linger there and how last night she imagined baking cookies on them. She liked his chest as much as he liked kissing her, which she could assume was a lot. She tried to get as close as possible to him, her own flat stomach came into contact with his hard abs, the warmth radiating from him.She had always been the shy, invisible girl but now? Now she was making out with a boy ,she barley met yesterday but really liked being with, out in the open. Anyone could see them but at the minute she didn't particularly care. Maybe she should but his lips were so good and her stomach against his just convinced her not to move and enjoy herself.
Kiss- Break away- Catch breath- Kiss. That was the cycle they were at for who knows how long. But no matter how long they kissed she couldn't bring herself to stop, until the question burned into her head and heart. "Seef,"She pulled away, barley, resting her forehead against his and her breath mixing with his. "Seef, where do we sand? Our relationship?" She would leave it up to him but if he rejected her... If he rejected her she would be ashamed and suddenly she felt her shyness creep out again. Please don't let him just say he only want to hook up up it make out.
Seef's brain had turned dysfunctional. All he knew was Adriana, Adriana's lips and her hair which his hands tangled in, her body pressed against his, the warmth that she drew out of him. Cookies, he thought, almost deliriously, and then nearly laughed out loud at the random thought. But he didn't laugh, because at the moment his mouth was otherwise occupied. To say he was enjoying himself would be the understatement of the century. Seef felt like he could float up into the air and fly away, and maybe he would have, but he was holding on to Adriana and she anchored him to the grass. Who would have thought this would happen so soon into the school year? Seef found himself wondering what Pierce and Penelope would think. They were, after all, the rulers of his team, and they had seemed to take an interest in torturing Adriana at initiation. But it wasn't like they'd done their fair share of flirting. And they did it in front of the whole team.Seef tried to yank his mind away from initiation. Why was he so dependent on what the team president thought?! He thought of what Adriana had said last night, about him following Pierce like a brainwashed puppy. It was true, wasn't it? His whole life the previous year had revolved around his schoolwork and the evil twins. Maybe he'd have to break the habit this year. Subtly, though; Seef still wanted to be president.
Anyway. There were more pressing matters at hand. He didn't know how long he and Adriana had been kissing for. They seemed to be settling into a routine. The kisses were too short and the breath pauses too long, and he kept going back for more and more and–
Seef gave a lit "mmpf" of protest as Adriana pulled away from him. But he listened to her question and realized that he, too, had been asking himself the same thing, though, judging from the anxious look on her face, not as much as she had. He longed to just kiss her again, but she deserved an answer. Seef carefully untangled his fingers from Adriana's hair and pulled himself up to a kneeling position, tugging her with him so they were on their knees facing each other. The blush had faded from his cheeks, but now his lips felt raw and overworked, and he knew he'd have a heck of a time covering up the hickeys in the dead heat. Seef reached across the path and plucked a pink flower from the closest bush to them. "Adriana Lemus," he said, very sincerely. "Will you go out with me?"
Adrianna was still nervous when he pulled her up into a kneeling position. God, why was he taking so long to answer?! Her breathing, however, finally got back to normal without all the kissing they were doing. The thought of how he was lucky she wasn't wearing lip gloss brought a nervous smile to her face. Of course she wasn't, she was taken from her room in the middle of the night, jumped into a lake, slept in the gardens, and made out with Seef. She hadn't gotten ready, she wasn't even dressed yet. In the back of her mind she wondered why she wasn't worried about people stumbling upon them. But as she waited she found herself going back to the shy girl she really is. The nervous blush on her face gave it away as she observed him. She knew younger guys liked older girls, maybe he just wanted to feel the rush of being with a senior? However she is new but that was a thought.God she needed to stop thinking, she was freaking herself out. Maybe she was worried about nothing? But that was just the way she is, silence made her head wander and think the worst of things in a situation. But Seef was also really sweet, well he seemed that way to her anyways. Especially with his reaching over to get a flower.
A flower, she racked her head for what that flower meant. But he was a guy, maybe he just picked a flower? Unless it was one of those break up flowers or sorry flowers. And Damn it, she needed to think of something else r get her mind to stop working entirely. She remembered always thinking that the girls in movies freaked out about nothing, now she saw why boy troubles were so complicated.
Too get her mind off of things, she watched him. Her gaze went down to his chest, as always until something red, farther up caught her eye. Hoping it wasn't what she thought, her hopes were crushed when she saw not one, but a few hickey's over his neck. Had she really been so into it that she didn't notice the trail she had left behind? She held her breath when he finally started talking. A smile broke over her face, yes! yes! yes! Without answering she through her arms around his neck and hugged him, sending them both down on the grass again. "Yes,"She pecked his lips. "But don't forget you still have to make it up to me,"She reminded him. "That gum was really gross,"And the water was really cold but she didn't mention that, Pierce had been the one who had wet her the most and she did jump into the lake afterwards.
Seef grinned when Adriana said yes and tumbled to the ground with her. This time he rolled onto his back and pulled her onto his chest. He had a girlfriend now! Seef wondered what his family members would say. His sisters would want to know all about Adriana, since she was the only girlfriend he'd had whom they had never met. His parents would try to tell her some weird, obscure Greek myth and then look up her zodiac sign to see if she was compatible with Seef. His grandparents would disapprove; he could imagine their stern faces as they sat him down to give him a serious talk about why he was in school. It was not, they would say, for getting a girlfriend, but for getting an education. But none of his family was with him. Here at Kale Ivy, Seef could do whatever he pleased (within the rules) and they would never know about it! He didn't have to explain every detail of his life to his sisters, he didn't need to worry about his strange parents scaring off another girlfriend, and there was no need to explain to his grandparents that he could have a love life and get an education at the same time. Seef only wondered if the evil twins would approve - not that he should care, and not that it was any of their business, but they still ruled his team and they had the social power. Adriana was a newbie, and not in his year, but at least she was on his team. He'd heard horrible stories of what had been done to people who'd dared to date across teams.
Seef took a strand of Adriana's hair and rolled it between his fingers. It was one of her best features, he decided, a rich brown, long, and silky, even after having been through a surprise swim at initiation. And being completely tangled by him. He took the flower he had picked in his other hand and tucked it behind her right ear, smiling at his handiwork. Seef would never be the guy you'd choose as a hair stylist, but apparently people change every day.
"I will make it up to you," he vowed, "but you'll have to keep me updated on my progress for that. For instance," - here he pulled her down to him for another quick kiss - "how far does a kiss get me on the making-it-up-to-you-o-meter?"
Adrianna smiled as he took a piece of her hair in his. She grinned at him, feeling extremely happy. He was her first boyfriend and she was drying to tell her mother over the phone later at night. However her mother would tell her father who would demand to know everything about Seef and demand to talk to him. She was afraid he would scare him off, even if he was in England. Her father still thought of her as his little girl but she wasn't going to stay alone evermore so he might as well get used to it now. She was still debating on whether or not to tell him when she felt a flower slide into her hair. Giggling, she felt it,"It's beautiful,"She told him softly and gave him a soft peck.Still, even if her father didn't approve she knew she wouldn't care, not now. Besides if she wanted to tell her mother she would. Her mother after all, loved romantic stuff just like she did. It was her, who got her into all of this stuff. After all her father still took her mother on dates and they acted as in love as if they were teenagers. She had the right to a boyfriend, she was seventeen for god's sake. Many girls had boyfriends but then again many girl's fathers weren't politicians. Well whatever she was in America and he wasn't so for now she'll do as she pleases. Telling them wasn't worth another sex talk with them, she had gotten plenty of those before she left. And god where they horrible, she wasn't an idiot. She didn't want to wind up pregnant before finishing high school. Nor did she plan too, she just wanted to be trusted.
Another giggle escaped her lips as he pulled her down to meet him. "Mmm a quick kiss? It will get you to five percent,"She teased. "But remember you can only use it once for it to count on the meter." Her legs tangled up with his as she rested her head against his chest. Her hands slowly tracing his abs. Looking up at him she smirked softly,"You're going to have to work your way up to one hundred. You really do not know how horrible that gum was,"She shuddered, remembering how gross it felt as she chewed, she was glad to have thrown it away.
"But do you know what will get you to fifteen percent?" She asked "innocently." "Telling me about your family. I really want to know,"She told him softly. She knew some kids were embarrassed about their families, she wandered if he was.
"Only five percent?" Seef mock pouted. "I thought for sure it would get me at least ten." Really, he enjoyed the little game they were playing. Ad he couldn't wait to see what would happen when he got to one hundred. "How about that hot make out session? That's got to count for something." He paused, then added, "I know how terrible it was. They made me do the same thing last year. And I didn't get to spit it out until we were in the pond. In fact, if no one's cleaned that pond, my gum is still on the bottom." It was, however, likely that the pond had been cleaned. After all, this was Kale Ivy. Nothing was allowed to remain dirty for longer than a day. It's the best of the best, Seef's grandparents had told him before they'd sprung the news on him that they were sending him to Kale. So far, he'd found that to be true.At first, though, Seef had resisted his shipping off with tooth and claw. He did not want to be sent to a remote island boarding school, away from his friends and fairly and comfort zone. 'It sounds like a prison' had been his first words when Grandma and Grandpa Scott had told him what they were going to do to him. Of course, since then, Seef had come around. He loved the school, evil twins and all, and now he wouldn't go back to public school for the world. He was already making plans to beg his grandparents to send his sisters when they got in to high school. They would love it here. Of course, when Carina was a freshman in two years, he wouldn't be able to hide anything from her at school. Ah, well, it seemed a small price to pay.
He was definitely surprised when Adriana asked about his family. He considered for a long moment, trying to decide what to say and what not to say. Finally, he decided to tell her everything. Seef really didn't have a good reason to hide anything. He wasn't embarrassed of his parents, except for sometimes, because even though they weren't made to take care of children they were loving and they did care.
"Where to start?" Seef wondered aloud. "Well. I have two younger sisters, Ara and Carina. They're nine and twelve. I love them to death. My parents are both, um, slightly obsessed with astrology. They love anything to do with the zodiac, constellations, and Greek myths. They're... more than a little... eccentric. My grandparents on my mom's side are the rich ones in my family. They're the ones who are paying my tuition for Kale. They're snobs, pretty much, but I love them anyway."
"It is after all just a quick peck," Adrianna reminded him as she giggled. So she was having fun with this too, seems like being with Seef wasn't going to be boring. "Trust me when I say you want to get to a hundred,"She whispered softly in his ear and nibbled softly on his earlobe before letting go. "And no our make out session doesn't count,"she shook her head as she smirked. "I said romantic stuff, making out is nice but it isn't that romantic. Unless it's like a movie scene,"She grinned, she liked making him work for it. That's what he got for always making her look at his wonderfully hot chest. She wondered briefly if that's how he looked at her breasts because he stomach was just flat.Unlike Seef, Adriana had begged to be allowed to come to Kaly Ivy. Her parents were always worrying something was going to happen to her and she was determined not to spend her senior year being home schooled. So she looked and looked until she finally found the right school online. She had been on her best behavior, putting on her best politician mask and turning on the charm. She had gone to every social event while planning on what to tell her parents until she finally sprung it on them. She had made a presentation and everything on why she should go. After months of begging and being on her best behavior they agreed to let her go with the rule that she would always call them before she went to sleep, no matter the time difference.
Of course, she was also subjected to the sex talk and boys talk and every other talk out there imaginable. But it felt so exhilarating when she got on that plane without her parents or an escort. But nothing beat actually arriving at the school. The pictures or comments didn't compare to actually being there. And looking down at Seef she knew, it was the best of the best. And not just in education either.
Adriana smiled as she listened to him talk about his family. "Slightly obsessed with astrology?" She smiled. "Well then did that rub off on you?" She raised an eyebrow as she continued tracing his abs. Her sky blue eyes peered into his questionably as she waited her answer. "Because I love knowing my horoscope and if you can tell me mine then I can have my own little horoscope machine,"She teased and gave him a wink.
"Well, then, one hundred will be our lucky number," Seef said softly. He sighed as she nibbled his earlobe. "You are such a tease," he complained, jokingly and yet not jokingly. Romantic stuff. Hm. Seef's mind churned, trying to come up with ideas that Adriana would like. There were all he clichés, of course: candlelit dinners, kissing in the rain, holding hands not he beach as the sun set over the water... But he'd be more original than that, Seef decided. He would regard this as a challenge, not merely something to be done with. It was a new year at a good school with a new girlfriend, and he was determined to get it right. "How are we supposed to imitate the movies?" Seef asked Adriana. "They have lights, cameras, and action and all we have is this." He gestured tot he garden around them. It was a very pretty place for certain, perfectly maintained like all of Kale Ivy. But there were no directors, no actors, no hair or make-up artists. Just Seef and Adriana and that thing that happened to be between them. Look at me, Seef thought to himself. I'm becoming a poet. Maybe I should write her poems.
At least Adriana seemed to enjoy hearing about his family. "Okay," he admitted, "slightly obsessed is a major understatement. You bet I know your horoscope. When's your birthday?" He wasn't exaggerating, either - Seef knew practically every little thing about every single sign of the zodiac. When he was twelve, his parents had dedicated the whole year to teaching him about the zodiac, appropriately studying each star sign during the dates in represented. By the end of the year he had been thoroughly sick of Capricorn and Gemini and Scorpio, but just about now he was beginning to be glad he knew all those things.
"You bet it will be,"Adriana murmured to him softly as she giggled. "I know I am, but don't pretend like you don't like it,"She murmured to him softly. " You know you liked me leaving those hickey's behind,"She kissed each one of them. "And the nibbling,"She nibbled on his earlobe again. "And the making out,"However she did not re do that. Her eyes had a mischievous twinkle to them. No that would take too long, after all they had probably been making out for twenty to thirty minutes. Who knew you could kiss that much? And it still seemed like it was a little bit. Hmm, maybe she was addicted to Seef? Now there was a thought."I don't know,"She admitted. "But I'm not exactly the one who had to make it up me, am I?" She pecked his cheek. "Besides I already gave you the hint that I like romantic stuff. I can't exactly help you in everything,"Her smile grew, she was putting him to work. Maybe it was just the way her father treated her mother that made her want someone to treat her the same way or maybe she was just a romantic to the core. Either way, seeing Seef trying to think of something was really cute.
"My birthday is November 17, I'm a Scorpio,"She informed him with a grin. "Now I'm dying to know your parents. I love horoscopes! I have a few apps of them on my phone but with you around I don't need them anymore,"She teased him as she kissed him softly. She really did like horoscopes though. Her dad always told her they were junk but she never listened. "So can you tell me who I'm compatible with?" Her purring was soft in his ear as she "innocently" played with the band of his jeans. Her sky blue eyes gave nothing that meant mischief but he should know her better than that now. And if not? Oh well!
"Mmpf," Seef grunted as Adriana went through her motions once more. He found that when her lips were on him, it was best to not try to form any coherent sentences. Because he either started rambling or couldn't manage three words in a row. Yes, he enjoyed every minute of being with Adriana, but he liked it best when they were making out. Apparently she didn't have twenty more minutes - or however long they had been kissing - to spare, and his mind gave a whine of protest when she didn't kiss him again."Okay. I can work with one hint," he said. And he could. Right? Seef was not a hopeless romantic - no one in his family was - but romance really couldn't be all that difficult. He hoped. After all, he'd seen chick flicks before, thanks to Carina's addiction to them. There was plenty of romance in those. Perhaps he could borrow some ideas from the movies. Just as long as he could think of his own.
Seef's birthday was March 21st. He was born on the very first day of the very first zodiac sign, a fact that his parents had never, ever shut up about. He remembered his twelfth birthday, the day when his mom and dad had announced their Zodiac Education Program, and the dread he had felt knowing the "program" wouldn't end until he turned thirteen. "I think," he said to Adriana's wanting to meet his parents, "that you are the first person ever to say that to me. I love my parents, but they are not fit for interaction with normal human beings."
"Hmm, compatible. Well, Scorpio is a water sign. Your ruling planets are Mars and, uh, Pluto. Those happens to be the same as mine. I believe we two are very compatible." Here Seef paused. He didn't really know if he was an avid believer in astrology like his parents were - it had always been a slightly ridiculous notion that you could tell a person's personality simply from when they'd been born. And the relationship stuff; that was a stretch. But he'd always gone along with his family because knowing all this stuff was (though he'd hardly admit it) fun, and besides, there were some things about astrology that were scarily accurate. "Need I say who else you're compatible with or should we just leave it at this?"
Adriana figured out by now, that Seef liked kissing her. What gave it away? His inability to talk or process anything when they did. And that also gave her the idea that she can use it against him if ever need be. But then that would be cruel, as cruel as the gum was. Okay, she was a very clean person. She was neat and organized and the gum went against everything about her. So she refused to let it go until he reached one hundred. It just.. it bugged her, stupid gum. She felt like she was getting infected every time she chewed. So she was a bit of a health nut, so what?"Yes you can work with one hint. There's movies and books and ideas on the internet about it. Not to mention that people like posting videos about their valentine's gift online that could be romantic." A smirk slid onto her face,"When you get to fifty, we can have a very long make out session,"She told him softly, her lips met hsi chest and then up his neck before nibbling on his lips and kissing him for a few seconds. "How's that for motivation?"
"Oh come on, they can't be that bad,"Adriana shook her head at his exaggeration. "I mean they raised you and you came out okay. They have to be okay as well and I'm sure they can talk to people just fine,"She was always nice, no matter if confident or shy. "There's no way their worse than my parents,"She shook her head at him. His might be a little unusual but at least they didn't take over protectiveness to a whole new level. Her dad texted her every hour, not that she answered or anything. It was excessive and she was hoping for him to take the hint before she had to talk to him about it.
"Let's leave it at that,"She smiled as he told her about who she was compatible with. "I don't know if your being serious, but that in itself is very romantic. Even more that you're the one telling it to me. Congratulations Seef, you are at fifteen percent,"She murmured and smiled. "See you can be romantic, you weren't even trying that time.. I think anyways." She thought this kind of things were fun, astrology was unpredictable and unscientific. Maybe it was the fact that her entire life had been ruled graphs and facts due to the politician stuff and how centered her life was around education that she liked this. This was something not rules by science..mostly anyways.
"Ah, the Internet. My best friend," Seef joked, and grinned. His grandparents had made a point of showering him and his sisters with electronics, most of which connected to the Internet, in an attempt to buy their love. As a result, Seef had the average amount of gadgets as any rich kid attending Kale Ivy. He was grateful for them, because his parents hardly even knew what a computer was. They relied on ancient astrology charts and handbooks. But now Adriana was adding even more incentive to her game, as if the first get-to-one-hundred idea wasn't enough for Seef. "That might just be the best motivation ever," he murmured as they broke apart once more, and another kiss that was far too short."Well, they're not bad, not really," Seef said about his parents. "They're just, I don't know, weird. Really weird." He wasn't sure how to describe Hubert and Franca Alderin. People didn't usually ask him to explain them; they usually met his parents and then walked out of his life. It had taken quite a lot of Seef's childhood to figure out that his parents weren't at all like his friends', but once he noticed, he really noticed. He'd never quite decided whether he liked or hated his parents' abnormalities. On the one hand, they made his family unique and interesting. On the other hand, it could be beyond embarrassing and often ruined his social interactions. Rosalyn was an example of that. "Really?" Seef continued when Adriana mentioned her own parents. "Why don't you tell me about your family?"
He smiled wider and touched his forehead to Adriana's so the two of them were very close. "Fifteen percent. That means I still have eighty-five to go." He gave an exaggerated sigh. "I never thought of astrology as romantic," he admitted, "but I suppose it brought my parents together, so why not?"
Adrianna smirked,"Best motivation ever huh? I think you seemed a little too addicted with kissing,"She murmured softly, teasing him. "Maybe I should put you on withdrawal. You know so you could get over it,"She teased, kissing his cheek and then the corner of his lips before hovering her lips over his. Leaning down, their lips were barley away from each other when she pulled away. "Hmm putting you on withdrawal does seem like a good idea now that I think about it. What do you think?" She couldn't resist, he was just so easy to tease especially when he made it so open that he was vulnerable to her kisses. And she couldn't help but take advantage of it. So maybe she shouldn't but it was too fun!"I would love to meet your parents,"She told him softly, her shyness creeping up again. They sounded really interesting! "And your sister, if you wanted me too of course,"She babbled a little. Babbling was a habit of her's when she got nervous. She bit her lip when he asked about her parents,"Well I'm sure you know I'm English and I live in England. Mt father's a politician and my mother is a stay at home mom. There isn't anything really weird about them, just... There way too overprotective. I was home schooled my entire life, and I had to beg them to allow me to come here for my senior year. But I have to call them every night before bed and my dead leaves me hundreds of messages,"She sighed. "I wished they would trust me. Anyways I'm an only child and whenever any guy shows interest in me my father scares him off and interrogated him."
Smiling, as he pressed their foreheads together, she giggled. "That means your closer to fifty. But now I'm not so sure about that make out session... I'm still deciding if I should withdrawal from you. Unless you showed me otherwise?" It was an invitation, take it or leave it.
"Yes. Nothing could be more motivational than you," Seef said sincerely. "Addiction? Do you really think so?" he asked, widening in eyes in mock surprise. "Well, if that's true, it's the good kind of addiction. Like being addicted to running. Kissing can burn two to five calories per minute," he informed Adriana. "And withdrawal hardly seems like a good idea. You don't want to put me through that, do you?" He gave her his puppy dog eyes. "I'd probably pine away to nothing. Besides," - here the joking sprang back into his expression - "I highly doubt you didn't like it." He met Adriana's gaze squarely for a moment, seeing the teasing in her eyes and... something else. "You're enjoying this," Seef accused. "You like putting me through this torture.""I'm sure they'd love to meet you, too," Seef said of his parents. If only to find out every detail of her life so they can consult the stars. "And my sisters would adore you." This was probably very true. Ara and Carina were fascinated with any girl Seef knew, and a British accent? Double adoration! Ara used to dress up as the Princess of England (her words, not Seef's) and talk in a horrible British accent to her stuffed animals at a tea party. That is, when she wasn't reciting the zodiac for their parents. Seef was aware that those were all stereotypes, but Ara was adorable. He found himself disappointed that his nine-year-old sister had this past summer decided she was too old for princesses and tea parties.
Seef tried to imagine having overprotective parents, but he really couldn't. It was well established in his family that he and his sisters could do pretty much whatever they wanted, as long as it wasn't dangerous or illegal. His grandparents had had a part in bringing up the kids, but they lived a couple of states away and mostly contributed by sending Seef and his sisters whatever things they thought were suitable for growing children. This included tea sets and princess movies for Ara, chick flicks and high-end clothing for Carina, and Seef's electronic gadgets, along with other things. Nonetheless, Seef nodded at Adriana's description of her family. "I don't know a ton about politics," he admitted. This was an understatement. He knew the bare minimum about politics. "Do you think I would survive your father's interrogation?"
"You can't take it back now!" he protested. "And I already told you why withdrawal isn't a good idea." In reply to Adriana's question about showing her otherwise, Seef rolled so the two of them were lying side by side in the grass and kissed her.
"That's sweet,"Adriana told him softly and smiled. So he could be romantic, it seems like the whole making it up to her would be fun. She laughed at his fact,"And I suppose you want to work out with me?" She raised an eyebrow, amused by his logic. "Besides I highly doubt you would pine away to nothing. Maybe almost there but not quite,"She giggled. "Besides I never said I didn't like it. I did like it, very much in fact. However I'm not obsessed with i-"Cut off by his puppy dog look, she looked down quickly. "That's not going to work!" Great now she was face to face with his wonderful chest. "I do not!... Okay maybe a little,"She admitted and pressed her lips to his chest to get him to shut up, placing kissing all over his chest. Two could play at this game.Adriana beamed at the compliment, afraid she would have scared at him by mentioning meeting his family. Of course that couldn't even happen until school ends. "Your sisters sounds cute, and I bet you they are if their anything like you," She had always wanted siblings but it was hard for her mother to have miracles in fact she was blessing and miracle baby. er parents tried so hard until her mother was finally pregnant with her. If she looked at her baby shower pictures, everyone had been so excited and given them tons of gifts. It was amazing! Not to mention how it had gotten in the news with her dad being in politics and all. It's kind of weird to know that you were famous before you were even born just by being there and kind of odd.
"Politics are boring,"She confessed. "But what kind of daughter's politician doesn't know politics? It would look bad and my parents designed my schedule for school. They were kind of education freaks as well but I guess it saved me some during initiation. I know the regular stuff and I'm fluent in several languages, cultures, and traditions. Besides I also know how to bake, sew, write and read in different languages as well, and I know a lot of influential people. It's kind of boring now that I think about it and I didn't have much time for having fun bit I didn't have any real friends so I spent my time watching romantic movies. In fact I've read and watched all the Nicholas Spark's movies and books!" She smiled. "I wasn't really into the internet until recently. I had to break my movie habits,"She shrugged. "It was bad like your kissing obsession."
"Yes I can! Watch me,"She teased. "Hmm I'm still deciding whether or not,"Giggling as they rolled over she was silenced by his lips. Pressing closer, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him towards her.
Seef beamed at her. He was sweet. Adriana said he was sweet. "Of course I want to make- I mean, work out with you. That's the idea," he said playfully. "And I would most definitely pine away to nothing." He was glad, at least, that his puppy dog eyes had some effect. He'd been working on them since he was a toddler. But then she was kissing his chest, and once again words failed him. Seef tilted his head back and looked up at the sky, which had become noticeably bluer since he and Adriana had woken up, on account of the sun rising. "You do. You totally enjoy it," he managed, but he couldn't say anything else, and, he realized, she knew it. She knew what her lips did to his poor vocal chords, and here she was torturing him for it."Cute? Is that all I get? I don't get an adjective describing this rockin' hot bod?" Seef joked. He gestured to his torso, which she was currently occupied with. Of course he'd noticed that Adriana couldn't keep her eyes off of his chest for very long. For him it was kissing, for her it was his chest. He had to admit he was in the weaker position. "But, yes," he conceded. "My sisters are adorable." Beyond adorable (although Carina would try to kill him for calling her that). He missed them already, even though he loved KII. Once again he found himself hoping that they would come to the school as well. But, he realized, Adriana would probably never meet them. She was a senior (he knew that all too well) and would be graduating at the end of this year, whereas Seef still had two more years at Kale after this one.
His eyes grew wide as she described all of her abilities. Seef knew one language and a little bit of Spanish from middle school. Things like "Hola" and "Como estás". He could cook (kind of) and the only influential people he knew were his grandparents. Adriana's life didn't sound boring at all. "The only thing I'm an expert at is astrology and Greek Myths," he said ruefully. And those were hardly considered life skills. "So you're mountains more accomplished than I am. On that note, we might as well just make out, especially since you say I'm obsessed with it." Sure, his logic was stretching it, but there was always the chance that she would fall for it.
Seef sent out a silent thanks to the gardeners at Kale for keeping the grass soft and comfortable. He bet they didn't know their handiwork would be used as a make-out location. "I guess I've got my wish," Seef said against Adriana's lips. Then he shut up and just kissed.
