Who I'm looking for in a Mod is who has had previous Modding Experience and basically full of Ideas :). I will choose at least 2 to be a mod, but i will choose more if they seem to be experienced enough.

I'll be a moderator. I started my moderating career three years ago, and have plenty of experience. ^-^

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

Well thats some good experience, let me hear some of your ideas for this RP and what you think we could do to make this One of the best.

message 4: by kirstin ✿ (new)

kirstin ✿ (shoutohdoroki) Heya! I'm interested in co-moderating this group, too. Been a moderator of five other groups and an owner of an advanced RP group. I don't join many roleplays, but I'm pretty organized with things ^.^

Yo, Kirstin~

Well, aside from the obvious making of folders, since this is an RP centered around a nuclear mistake, there could be mutations in the humans in order for them to survive, or aid in some sort of survival.

For the creatures, I think they should appear humanoid, just to make it difficult for humans. ^-^ Plus, it'd be interesting if you had a mutated creature among a group of humans without them suspecting it. I can't remember the name of the movie, but there was a remake to an old movie about a creature that could steal the form of other people, but it was supposed to be an alien. Maybe something like that for the creatures?

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

I like that!!! I like that a lot :D. Now there is going to have to be an army of some sorts, can any of you two come up with some sort of Ranking system?

message 7: by kirstin ✿ (new)

kirstin ✿ (shoutohdoroki) Yo, Sea ^.^

I like the idea. I'm into post-apocalyptic dystopian lately, so I think I can contribute here.

I'm trying to remember the movie! But I can't, lol. But yes. It'd be more interesting and thrilling to have them in humanoid form. And besides I'm not much of a fan of aliens. As in those with weird looks and all. So at least have them close to humans.

About the mutations, something like in Enigma or kinda different?

message 8: by kirstin ✿ (new)

kirstin ✿ (shoutohdoroki) Also, would it be okay if the setting is in some sort of wasteland?

Aristrocatic-imp[Travis Stoll] | 41 comments Mod
There could be airborne parasites that floated through the air and took control of some people with a specific blood type without them knowing making them have insatiable urges to kill off other survivors.

message 10: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
There could be a mix of Enigma mutations and bodily mutations. Like, the enigma mutations could be rare and special cases.

As for ranking, I think it should go by the mutation if we include it. Each division could be checked off a certain way that pertains to a person's mutation, or lack thereof.

A wasteland setting sounds fantastic ^-^

Aristrocatic-imp[Travis Stoll] | 41 comments Mod
They could have to eat canned goods that the creatures want like beefaroni and get raided by the mutated animals losing most if not all food storage.

message 12: by kirstin ✿ (new)

kirstin ✿ (shoutohdoroki) Yay! Yes. Wasteland ^.^

I'm checking military rankings now.

And yes, I agree with Sea. But I also kinda like the idea of Aristocratic. But hmm... aren't the creatures supposed to be the enemies here?

Aristrocatic-imp[Travis Stoll] | 41 comments Mod
Yeah. Those who went to college should get officer ranking while those who didn't get enlisted.

message 14: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
That could present dissension among the ranks, and the whole objective is to create an environment fit for survival. There may be people who have gone to college, but aren't fit for their ranking, and would then have to face people below who had no college education, but are better suited for the rank.

That would present more of a problem than a solution to the issue of protection.

Aristrocatic-imp[Travis Stoll] | 41 comments Mod
Well they would have divisions like protection, medical, experimental, so on so forth.

message 16: by kirstin ✿ (new)

kirstin ✿ (shoutohdoroki) I don't think those who just went to college have to be the higher ranking officer. They have to trained so as to be more experienced than just merely college students ^.^

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

wow... I'm glad you guys joined lol, I love all these ideas especially the parasite one!! Great job Aristocratic!! Along with the other ideas I love the Wasteland idea as well. You all are making this hard for me to choose Mods lol

Aristrocatic-imp[Travis Stoll] | 41 comments Mod
Well that why they have basic, and if they survived that's experience. There could also be chance of advancement like 5 years served you can go on to officer training and rank.

message 19: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
Experimental with what, exactly? If a nuclear war has wiped out a good deal of the human race, that wouldn't do well for them to start experimenting just yet.

Divisions: Medical, Nutritional, Assault, and Protection

We can work more in as the number of collective survivors increases.

As for the parasite, if we choose something rare, there is a likelihood that the blood type is completely wiped out, and therefore makes the parasite irrelevant. If it's one of the very common ones, it presents another issue, and again, dissension in the ranks.

message 20: by kirstin ✿ (new)

kirstin ✿ (shoutohdoroki) I want the divisions: those assigned to be the medics, then the soldiers, then those that govern the remaining people, those in the science branch that do experiments, etc.

But the mutations Sea and I are talking about. Think we should limit it?

message 21: by kirstin ✿ (new)

kirstin ✿ (shoutohdoroki) I'm on my phone, so sorry for late responses. I've just read Sea's previous comment. I agree with all of that.

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
Limitations to the mutations is a given. We can't have a bunch of powerful characters running around. Maybe we could center it so that only the mods may have the Enigma type mutations, and regular members of the group-- not too many though-- may have mutated characters.

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

I like the idea with the basic training Aristocratic!!Also I love the devisions idea. However about the parasites.. Where this is a end of the world type deal, people are gonna start repopulating and they could pass the rare blood type. But that is just my opinion. In a way i still want the parasites, but we will work something out in the near future.. As far as the mutations goes, yes i agree that there should be limitations.

message 25: by kirstin ✿ (new)

kirstin ✿ (shoutohdoroki) Uhm... just a question, how long has this Nuclear War been going on?

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

The length of the war has yet to be announced, im not entirely sure at the moment, remind me later and i will get back to you on that.

Aristrocatic-imp[Travis Stoll] | 41 comments Mod
The beasts could have thick skin and only rare large caliber rounds can hurt them.

message 28: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
And how would they get these bullets? Would they make them on their own?

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

I believe we could make them on our own. I'm sure we are gonna be good a salvaging :)

Okay i believe We got enough to get at least the foundation of this RP. Time to talk business.. After several minutes of thinking, I have found my Mods. I have decided that all four of you guys can be mods, cause not only you have amazing ideas, you all happened to agree on something together. YAAAAYY LOL :D

Aristrocatic-imp[Travis Stoll] | 41 comments Mod
All my groups died that I was a mod in.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

i'm willing to take that risk, you have amazing ideas and i want you a mod.

message 38: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
What if we had a renegade group of infected? I feel like it'd add to the plot a lot.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

that would be pretty cool! Go for it!!:)

message 40: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
We'll need more infected characters then

Aristrocatic-imp[Travis Stoll] | 41 comments Mod
So what type of infection is it?

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

I invited everyone of my friends Has everyone else invited people?

message 43: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
Well, it seems that we've been juggling the idea of it being airborne as you suggested, Arist. I think that'd be good, but maybe it's initially airborne, and then it has to be transmitted differently?

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

We could also go with the traditional way. If you get bit or somwhere along the line of that, you can become infected. but it's not like a zombie or vampire, it takes much longer for the infection to take hold.

message 45: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
I like that idea.
It would be easier for the pathogen to spread, so maybe if we make it through blood contact?

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

that would work as well. How about blood and contact from saliva, and we just forget the airborne idea? No offence Arist.

message 47: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
Those two are fine by me.

The mutations is something else to work on, as well.

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

How about one of mutations can be where the virus intensifies and makes the host, much larger, stronger, and more aggressive?

message 49: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 37 comments Mod
Okay, so there's that class of mutation.

Would it apply to both the infected and uninfected?

message 50: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes it would apply to both, depending on the blood type
