So, it looks like you have a solid focus for your collection. I like the idea, I'm sure it's been done, but that's truly not a factor. Good luck and congrats on that great McCammon book.
My book arrived. WOW! So sweet, and clean. It's an amazing copy of what is perhaps McCammon's master work.

When I find some time I'll take a few pics and post them.

If you're interested in signed McCammon, you should check out Subterranean Press and get on their e-mail list. http://subterraneanpress.com
They often run sales just for the e-mail list. They've done a few signed limited books by him.
I know this is an old thread and response, but somehow I over looked Davids suggestion.
Thanks for the suggestion David. I am a big fan of Subterranean Press and other small press companies. I do have quite a few books from Subterranean and many specialty press books in my collection.
I personally enjoy collecting the original release's first and foremost, but when they can't be found or are a bit out of my price range, then I turn to the specialty press, but even then the books can be quite pricey.

My collection is basically an author collection, but I have been focusing on the founding members of the Horror Writers Association, which Robert McCammon created and was originally called HOWL (Horror and Occult Writers League). Joe R. Lansdale and his wife, Karen also helped launch this group along with Dean Koontz.
I have yet to collect aything from Lansdale but patience is a virtue, or so they say.
