Has anyone seen the German trailer for it?? It's by far the best out of all of them.. Even though its German language .. I'm still watching the trailer!! God this movie is going to be EPIC!!!!

Yes I heard rumors that the their going to be releasing it in English but I don't know when... Omg the hot topic clothing line is just .... Awesome.... I don't care how much it costs I'm getting the Isabelle dress !!

I heard that Cassie might be writing a new series called The Wicked Powers and I'm so excited!

City of ashes is already going to be starting in late fall. That's soo awesome!! The first one hasn't even come out yet and were already getting the second one!!!

I finished city of bones not long ago and I lived every moment!!! City of ashes is now in my hands and I'm almost ready to devour it!!!

I haven't read the infernal devices series but I've read the mortal instruments series... Is the infernal devices series worth reading?

TID is better than TMI, in my opinion. It got more of an emotional response out of me. I didn't cry once throughout TMI, but I have BAWLED over TID. I like the characters better and I think the dialogue is funnier/wittier. The series explores the parabatai bond more deeply, and that story is just beautiful.

Cons: The writing is a little messier, and the plot isn't as good as TMI--TMI has a better villain with a better motive. Through most of TID, the characters spend their time trying to figure out why the bad guy is doing the bad stuff. In TMI, you're aware of the reasons behind Valentine's behavior. I like that. Still, given TMI vs. TID, I'd go TID every time.

I absolutely agree with Megan. TID is definitely more emotionally stirring than TMI. I have never cried during a book as much as I cried during Clockwork Princess, particularly the epilogue. I think the villain is just as interesting if not more so than Valentine. I am so incredibly stoked to see more TID/TMI character crossovers in City of Heavenly Fire!

Also, WAY more parabatai exploration in TID and it is true that the writing is wittier and more exciting than TMI.

AAhhH! I totally agree! I LOVED TID so much better, I literally cried for 4 hours after I finished "The Clockwork Princess" ....those books literally ripped my heart out ^_^

I love both series. I liked tmi more because I felt more attached to the characters. Jace is my future husband. I'm getting city of heavenly fire the day it comes out. I'm soooooooo excited!!!

I LOVE The Mortal Instruments and ESPECIALLY the Infernal Devices! I'm right there with you Megan, I definitely felt like the characters were more emotional and real than the TMI characters (although I do love my Simon Lewis :), and the Infernal Devices are in my opinion far better. It's so sad not many people read them though! I think they could sincerely challenge the Hunger Games.
