Derek drove up to the hospital and parked, before getting out and opening Ali's door. He leaned down and picked her up yet again. He ran into the hospital and went to the front desk "She's in labour" Derek said simply.
Ali looked around frantically, hoping someone from her family would show up, they probably all knew by now. A nurse brought over a wheel chair for her, so Derek wouldn't have to carry her, and she was grateful, she didn't want to feel like a burden to him.
Moments after Ali was in Spencer burst through the door with everyone else in tow. She grinned, "hey sweetie," she walked over and kissee her head softly, squeezing her hand, "we're all here to support you," she offered gently.
Ali nodded, biting her lip as her sister kissed her head. She was absolutely terrified. She felt like she wouldn't be able to do this. She didn't even have a name for the baby yet, and now this. She wrapped her arms lightly around her stomach as another contraction started, and her water broke.
Ali forced a smile. "Family, Derek, the cupcake guy, Derek, twins, or triplets, or whatever," she forced out, her smile faltering as the started moving through the halls of the hospital, the nurse informing them that the doctor was on the way, and that they would get her something for the pain.
Spencer rubbed her shoukder softly, "you squeeze my hand as hard as you can when it hurts." she said softly and stroked her hair. She kissed her head and followed them through the halls.
Ryley walked over to a chair and sat down "Quinn says her and Carson will be here in 5 minutes
((Carson is Quinn's 2 year old son))
Ali nodded, her eyes searching for Derek, catching his, begging him silently to stay with her. She didn't know why, but she felt like she needed him there, as well as her sisters, her family. She didn't care how recently they had met, he was the first person who had been nice to her in half a year, and she wanted him there. She was biting her lip hard. She was so scared. She hadn't told anyone the nightmares she'd been having lately, of her having a stillborn baby, or something going wrong and the baby being hurt or deformed because of her.
Spencer stroked her hair as they finally got to the room, "don't bite your lip so hard," she said gently. "you'll bleed and it will hurt.." she smiled and rubbed her shoulder, "everything is going to be ok." she promised.
Derek took Ali's hand "I won't leave" He whispered, a reassuring smile on his face. He remembered making the same promise to his sister when she was in the same position as Ali and despite him not being in the pact, he still wanted to help this girl with the after effect.
Ali reluctantly forced herself to stop biting her lip. She looked up at Derek, more than grateful for his presence there with her. She gasped as another contraction came. They were coming so fast now, and the doctor was there, telling her what was going on, but she was barely listening.
Derek carefully took Ali's open hand in his own, in another way of saying he's here. Absentmindly, he began to smooth her hair in a calming manner, just as his mother used to do for him when he was hurt or sick. "She'll be perfect Ali" Derek said to her quietly, so that only Ali would hear him.
Ryley walked over to Derek "I'm Ryley , I'm her sister . I'm assuming your her boyfriend" she said holding out her hand
Ali looked up at Derek, searching his eyes, the panic in her eyes diminishing a little, though the fear still remained. She was never a strong girl, she had always been kind of breakable. Now it felt like her whole body would break at any moment. She swallowed hard, clutching his hand in her grip, her breathing more than a little ragged. She just knew, it was time.
Derek looked at Ryley slightly but he quickly looked back at Ali. He thought about what Ryley said, did Ali think of him as a boyfriend. He wished that Ali could be his girlfriend, cause he loved her and despite the fact Derek had never met her baby he loved the baby to.
Spencer looked over at Derek but made no move to get to know him like Ryley. Shw was totally focused on Ali at the moment, "just remember to breath ok?" she smiled soothingly. "I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere.."
Ali laughed half heartedly, the doctor was talking to her again, she listened just enough to get the gist of things. He was telling her to push, to breathe, to stay calm, and that everything was going great. So she did, she took a deep breath, gripping tightly to both the hands she was holding, locking her jaw and just getting it over with.

Spencer smiled softly, encouragingly. "you can do it sweetie, you're doin' great," she smoother her hair tenderly. She was trying to ignore the pain in her hand from the squeezing.
"Your doing great Ali" Derek told Ali, he didn't feel the pain in his hand from her squeezing. All he could see was Ali, and that's the way he liked it.
Sooner than Ali thought, she heard crying, and she knew her baby was okay, and that it was over now. She released the tension in her jaw, and loosened her hold on their hands, forcing a shaky smile. She felt light headed, and more than tired, and she wanted to hold her baby. Then Ali saw the blood, and her eyes rolled back in her head, the machines around her starting to alarm.
"Ali, come on you have to wake up" Derek begged, now forgeting everyone in the room. He was beyond worred about Ali. Derek turned to the doctor "Help her" He snapped, wanting her to be okay again.
Ali didn't react at all, it was like she was a little rag doll at the moment. A nurse quickly took the baby from the room, the doctor, moving to her side, watching her blood pressure plummet. He shook his head, moving to call instructions to a set of nurses. She was still bleeding, and they had to stop it. Ali had only worried about her baby, never about herself, and now she was the one in danger.
Derek moved back from Ali to give the doctor more room. While moving back, his eyes never left Ali's unmoving form. Let her be okay He thought over and over. ((The baby looks adorable))
Spencer loomed at her, "Ali you have to wake up!" she cried and held her hand, "Ali please!" ahe was pulled back, "that's my sister let me go!" she begged as she tried to hold on to her hand. She struggled against the nurse who was surprised at the pregnant teen's strength.
((Nope, not killing her off. I'm just creating drama))The doctor was still working, the nurses trying to wake Ali, and after about five minutes, the blood flow was stemmed, and Ali's eyelids fluttered. She looked around, not understanding the panic in the room. She was hurting, and tired. Where was her baby?
Spencer let out a sigh of relief. She went back to Ali and smiled softly, "hey," she whispered, "you ok? You gave us quite a scare.." she kissed her uead.
Derek sighed in relief when Ali's eyes opened. He moved back to the palce he had been before "I'm glad your okay" He said with a soft smile.
Ali looked around a little dazed. "What happened?" she asked softly, whimpering quietly. "Is my baby okay?" She was scared that something had gone wrong. "Where is she?"
"yeah, she's ok...they took her away when you passed out...you were losing a lotnof blood sweetie.." she kissed her head again. "I'll get themnto bring her back in ok?" she smiled and then turned to the doctor. "please bring the baby back in...she'd like to hokd her.
Ali was a little surprised when they told her she had passed out, and that she had been bleeding like that, the way that they they were kissing her head and hugging her. Ali looked over to Ryley as Spencer moved to get her baby. "Madeline. Madeline Rayne," Ali whispered softly, a small smile on her lips.
Madeline was brought in and they had cleaned her and weighed her and were filling out the birth certificate. She was handed to Spencer who cooed at the baby softly and then moved back to Ali. "Ready sis?" she smiled wodely.
Ali's eyes widened at the sight of the little baby, she was so beautiful, so perfect, how could it be? She nodded, reaching out her arms for the baby. She wanted to hold her little girl, the baby she had carried for so long. Madeline was a part of her. "She's mine?" she whispered, barely believing it.
Spencer nodded as she handed her over. "yeah...she's beautiful isn't she?" she smiled and stroked her cheek. "she has your eyes and nose."
Ali took her gently into her arms, holding little Madeline close to her body. Her little girl had already fallen asleep, she was probably as exhausted as Ali felt at that moment. Her face was all scrunched up, and she would start squirming every few seconds, and her whole body but the little tufts of hair peaking out from under her little pink cap was a light red, but she was still beautiful, still perfect to Ali. Ali looked up at her family, tears in her eyes. Her baby, this was her baby. "She's so beautiful."
