Anyone watch?

I loved this series. It had a great cast and some of my favorite Bible stories were shown on there.

They skipped my favorite, and they were really, really inaccurate on a lot of things.

But they had Zimmer and Balfe do the music.

They skipped Joseph and the coat of many colors. I wanted to see that one.

The Bible is great. I don't recommend it for anyone who can't stomach a lot of blood and gore though.

Yea. I can take that stuff easy. I've actually trained myself that when I notice I can't really stomach and sight of smell, I tell myself: "There are WORST things to see." & "There are WORST things to smell."

Yea.... Like when I had to do an autopsy on a rat. It had rigor mortis and my partner wouldn't touch it, so I basically did everything....

I might be the only one here who didn't like the miniseries.

i wouldnt like it either...something about the way that "hollywood" tries to act out the Bible i think its pretty pathetic...and shows the totally wrong points!

The thing I don't like is the misrepresentation; the changing of history.

Did ya'll know they made a book version of the mini-series? They literally rewrote the bible.

some people dont understand that the words in the Bible are Gods words!! and you cant change that

The scary thing is that in a few generations, no one will know the difference.

that is so true! its gonna be really sad...but hopefully there will still be some Christianity in that generation to try to influence the others :/
