The glimpse I caughtwas enough to hook me for life
It was my drug
and it was my release
That smile lit the darkness in my life
it was the elixir for my happiness
It pushed its way into my being
ever fiber and hair of my body
Tingled after I caught that glimpse
Yet alas I am left with nothing but the empty memory
No warmth radiated from that memory
as it had in my face at that moment
As the smile brought me happiness
It brought me pain
For I counted the seconds NO!
milliseconds till that smile arose from its slumber
To envelope my body in the warmth
that was feeding my greed a feast
It was my secret and for being nothing but a coward
It still is.

Hissing, spitting, and raging are they
they concequences of their actions they pay.
the animal world is an unkind place you see
there is hardship and strife, no glee
but in the deepest forest
within the deepest cave
there is a little creature
who can brighten up the day
he is a small little thing
only about an inch
but he spreds the love
and lightens the world
we call him- Estaban!
All day long i sit at home Talking to my friends i roam
But at night my visions turning odd
As i travel to the land of Nod
I do not go reluctantly
I do the opposite, i flee
To under the covers made of fleece
From reality to a dreamy peace
My mind wanders seeking rest
I see dream of a birdy in his nest
I hear my name and see a pod
Leading out from the land of Nod
I am sad but i have to go
the days are boring and to slow
i try to remeber the strang and odd
the myserious creatures from the land of Nod.
The rose engulfed in mysteryLay before me A gift of her kindness and love,
Though I could not return these emotions
I strung her along
Baring extremely similarities to a dog following the scent of meat,
She was mines to command
Though one order she would not follow,
I told her to leave me To give up on this unrequited love, But alas it was all in vain
For she was more stubborn than a mule unwilling to move a step, Her actions moved me but to her great despair
I loved another woman and for that she gave up on this love,
And sought out to destroy the very thing she lived and breathed for
And this resulted in her success and failure,
For she destroyed the one thing she loved and that thing was me.

Creature of the night:
The silver wolf stalks
Unseen
Not heard, a creature of the night.
The chill in the air and the crimson red on his muzzle.
His belly full and warm
He seeks isolation from the night world.
The soft moon light beats down,
Bright as the sun,
cool as a summer breeze.
He creeps up on his home.
The cave is cool and dank.
he finds a nest and sleep rushes over like wind
The bright sun,
moon has gone
it beats down unrelentingly
he stirs and and stretches
returns to his travels
a creature of the day.

The silver and moon:
The silver wolf stalks
unseen, unheard
the chill in the air
the crispness of leaves
the moonlight shining off his pelt
yet still he goes unseen
in the soft silver moonlight
the wolf stalks sleep
he seeks the cool isolation of the cave
sleep washes over him, he dreams of food
the hot sunlight disrupts his dreams
it steals him from Nod and he continues onward.
