Entangled in Romance discussion

I have to admit I am suffering from a serious lack of sleep. Friday I couldn't put The Switched Baby Scandal down until I finished & then last night I stayed up 3 hours past when I should have gone to sleep to finish Love Him or Leave Him by Sara Daniel.

What was the last book you read that you couldn't put down until you were done?

it was an entire series I spent several days on, The Son's of Sumeria series by Lexi Ander Plus 2 freebies wiht it lol. I read the entire night on each book until I finished.. *blushes*

Oh I haven't read The Son's of Sumeria sounds good though. Recently for me, although it has had mixed reviews, I couldn't put down the Hunger Games trilogy! It was just so addictive and the first book was 100% better than the film, and it lead on so perfectly to books 2 and 3. Really worth a read! :)

Id like to read the hunger games too, you should try the sons of Sumeria the first book is twin flame if you like mm.I still am haveing post partem depression from it and will be ext year before the next lol

Thanks for the reccommendation Cathy, i'll definitely look in to it! I kind of wierdly love that feeling of post book depression, I think it just shows how powerful the book was. I got it from the Hunger Games!

I read Take it Like a Vamp overnight LOL. It was so much fun. Reading Obsession now. Yup, going to be a long night again!

Love The Hunger Games! Have you read The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau? It had a very similar feel and I really enjoyed it.

I astarted one last night its book three of the lethal obsession series by Michele Montgomery.I knew i was doomed wheni started a long book at 10 pm.. up till 4 didnt quite finish when hubby insisted i try to sleep.. *sigh eyes kindle longingly* dang its intriguing...

lately when I do the waking in the middle of the night I'm been reading on the nook. I'm finding I'm getting more reading done with reading regular books during the day or early evening and doing the books on the nook where I can turn the lights out and just read at night.
let's just say other years my books read goal is 150 and I never make it this year I'm already into the 160s so I think alot more reading is being done this year. I'm also waiting to get results of the book reading contest that I did during the summer months which 2 years in the row I won 2nd place with 40 some books (1st place read 60 don't know how she does it) this year I read more than I did last year with the high 40's.
anyway, back to the question. can't think of a title off the top of my hear most likely it was a romance book I did a few late nights when I was reading the 50 shades books and there were a few other series also that I did late nights. I find when I finish a real good book I'm almost hating starting or find a book to start next because it might not meet up with the book that I just finished.
I did read the hunger game books with an online friend I enjoyed those. I'll have to try ander books haven't tried them.
Debbie, is sara daniel the construction beauty queen. I loved that book when I read it I think last year. I do remember another one of her's is on my nook or at least downloaded on the mac waiting to be sideloaded onto the nook in that series but can't remember the title. hopefully I"ll be getting to it soon.

My latest could not put down books have been Seven Day Fiance by Rachel Harris, Foreplay by Sophie Jordan and Christmas on 4th Street by Susan Mallery. All making for a very tired reader here. I should know better than to start a good book close to bed time. lol.

Debbie, most people I know as well as I, struggled with the first book. The only reason I plowed on was because of my friends' encouragement.

Hope you can make it to the second book as it takes a turn.

then that is the one I have I remember at the time when I saw it how I enjoyed construction beauty queen and I grabbed it.

SInce I'm one of those people who is always reading more than 2 or 3 books at a time it's really hard to pick a book that you can't put down. I need ot get back to reading one on the nook and one paper one. I can say that I do at times just stick with one if it really grabbed me.
yesterday during the day I was reading hotshot by julie garwood a library book then woke during the night and continued reading the copy on my nook. (the library copy is going to my sister this weekend) and I can say the ARCs I've been reading lately have also grabbed me. Also have going Cage by harper sloan which I'm enjoying.

so besides me anymore out there that have more than 1 book going on at a time. I always give the reason to be not knowing what I feel like reading. sometimes it's also if I have a f2f book grp book going which is alittle heavier I need something light also going and of course something on the nook. or if I have ARCs.

the most recent one was Barefoot in the Sea by Roxanne St. Claire which I was lucky enough to get an ARC of.

The most recent book I had with this effect was Do or Die by Suzanne Brockmann. It's high on action, suspense, mystery and romance. Lots of unexpected twists and nothing was predictable.

I need to read Suzanne Brockmann. I think I read one awhile ago and enjoyed it. I recently couldn't put down Cindi Mafsen's Resisting the Hero.

I highly recommend her Troubleshooters series. The first book is The Unsung Hero, which is the weakest in the group but all those that follow are really good!

I agree with you Jonetta...it was the same for me too. I even took the day off from work to read Shadowfever when it came out.

I don't know how you did this, waiting until publication to read the next book. The series was complete when I started.

For me it was the Infernal Devices series. Last book was AMAZING!!!

It's been awhile since I've had a book that I couldn't book down but I finished The Book of Ivy by Amy Engel (releases on 11/11) and OMG, loved it! I cannot wait for book 2 to come out.

Hello. I'm new to the group, and I'm an Entangled Scandalous author. One of the first historical romances I read and could not stop reading was "The Bride" by Julie Garwood. I go back and read it again almost every year. It's a great love story!

For some reason the storybook of my life will include so many great moments of me shutting myself in my room either as a teen or as an adult and getting engrossed in her books but Hardy Cates (Blue Eyed Devil) is my go to Contemporary Alpha. For awhile I read it several times a year and when I am in a reading drought I whip it out and enjoy.

I really need to read Lisa Kleypas one day. I've heard so many good things.

So I had Full Measures by Rebecca Yarros sitting on my Kindle since it released but I finally started it the other day and stayed up way too late because I had to finish it. I'm reading the follow up book now and again I'm having to force myself to put it down and get some work done.
