Did anyone know they made this into a movie in 1997 with John Cusack and Kevin Spacey? Usually the book is always better than the movie ----- but I think this is a really big exception. I just loved the film while I felt so-so about the book.
Yes, a movie was made based on this book. It is the one with Kevin Spacey playing Jim Williams, and John Cusack playing the narrator. Actually, as usual there were changes in the movie. The book is much more factual as it relates to the history and background of Savannah. Probably more detail than most people are willing to read these days.
