Breaking Dawn question

I agree that Bella Swan is not an intelligent character, however I don't find this particular situation all that stupid. Yes, there is always the possibility she could cut herself, but as long as you're careful I don't see why it would be that big of an issue. I've only ever cut myself while shaving once, ever, so this has never been a worry for me, and I can see why she would want to be smooth and clean for having sex.

Let's talk about if Bella did ONE single thing in her life that could almost be considered intelligent and smart. Now there's something to stump a person.

I used to think she was stupid, but I've just decided she acts like a co-dependent teenage with entitlement issues. She gets her way because she has temper tantrums until she does.

As for shaving her legs before sex, that's probably one of the only thoughts from her Edward-obsessed mind I actually understood because I would do that, too.

I thought it was stupid of her to get involved with Edward in the first place. I mean he was in her room watching her sleep at night.

i agree its stupid- its her wedding night wouldn't her legs already be shaved?

To be fair, Edward had said before the fight with the newborns or whatever they're called that her blood didn't bother him anymore because he couldn't imagine living without her so he would never harm her. If he can control himself when she stabbed herself with a rock and started bleeding everywhere then I'm sure he can handle a little nick from shaving.

And, HEY!! At least she cut her arm rather than stabbing herself in the gut like the Quillete lady....

The whole thing is stupid. Demeaning and repressive to women, the world over. Yet, girls eat it up. Really says something about culture today. You can't blame men for this! Apparently girls crave status and melodrama even if it means being subjugated to cold, controlling, domineering cretins. Ugh.
