((I realized the fact that Gabe and Ari got it on like donkey kong and forgot Mari with Costin. Really bad parenting moment.))

Ari: I stare at the ceiling until I hear a knock on the door. "You want to get that babe?" I say teasingly.

Gabe: "yes, dear," I sighed. I opened the door to see two little girls along with costin. They wore little frilly dresses. Gag. "mari!" I swirled her up in a big hug. "well uh... Thanks, costin," I mumbled, shaking his hand. "how was mari?" I inquired. Poor guy looked a bit tired.

Costin: I rub a hand over my face I'm exhaust and nudge Mari over. "They had fun. I on the other hand, didn't sleep." I can see Ari's laying on the bed looking in my direction.
Ari: I see Costin and gesture to my abdomen. 'Yep.' I mouth over Gabe's shoulder.

Gabe: "yyyeah... We owe you, I guess." I stood awkwardly until mari kicked me in the stomach to be let down. I obliged, and she immediately tugged her new friend to aris stomach. "come in," I sighed, leaving the door open.

Costin: I roll my eyes and step into Gabe and Ari's room. Being a Fae, I immediately process what I'm seeing. "How many days are you post conception? Have you been 'reacquainted' since then?"
Ari: My eyes widen. "Wait a minute. How the hell do you know all this?"

Gabe: "what?" I looked back and forth between the two, not understanding the big words they were using. "ari? What's wrong?" I whisper into er ear, smiling at mari and her little friend who were getting along quite well.

Ari: "Nothing. Costin is just insanely intelligent." I turn back to Costin. "Ummmm. 3 days, and yeah." I fidget with the edge of the blanket. "Last night."
Costin: I'm tempted to laugh, but I smother the laughter by leaning over near her ear. "You haven't been to the hospital yet have you?"
Ari: I pale, but shake my head. "Nope."

Gabe: "three days what?" I frowned. "ari, what's wrong? Are you okay?" I check her face which had become a pale color, and a shocked expression covered her face.

Ari: I hold a finger towards Gabe. "One second Gabe."
Costin: I put my hand over hers. "You really should. You can't put it off any longer, and I'm pretty sure you don't want me to do the exam."
Ari: I shake my head and swing my legs off the side of the bed. "Yep. Okay Gabe. We should go, like now."

Gabe: I narrowed my eyes at costa suspiciously. "what'd you say to her?" I growled when she was out of earshot.

((what's her friends name?))

((Costin.)) Costin: I shrug. "I simply told her that of she didn't want me, a male who has known her forever, to preform a routine exam, than she needs to go now."

((no mari's))
Gabe: I narrowed my eyes at him, before walking away to find ari. "should we bring mari with us? Where are we going for your exam?" I yawned, hugging her from behind.

Ari: ((oh Veronica)) "Costin, can Mari stay with you and Veronica while Gabe and I are at the ahem... You know what on 35th street?"
Costin: I rein in a wave of panic. "Of course." No naps in my near future.

Gabe: I give costin a look of pity, before dragging ari out the door. "this is all so crazy," I said thoughtfully. Me? A father? It sounded weird to me. Hopefully I would be able to take care of y new family. "what kind of tests di they do...?"

Ari: I hail a taxi and we climb in. "Umm. ((Drawing a blank here!)) They take my blood and screen it to make sure I don't have any diseases, then, they scan yours to make sure that you are indeed the father, then they do an ultrasound, then they do some other things that have nothin to do with you, you won't even be in the room, and then I get pills!" I say with fake enthusiasm.

((it sounds pretty realistic, pretty much))
Gabe: "pills? Isn't that for when you're sick?" i asked suspiciously. The taxi driver gave us a weird look and I snarled at him. "I'm staying with you at all times. Sorry." isay with fake apologeticness. We pull up to a large building, and me and ari get out of the cab. "come on, come on," I tugge her forward. "wait. What if.... Well it's obviously probably not goinh to be a human... What will the doctors say I'f they find out?"

Ari: I wince. "Most of the people working at Saint Alexius aren't human anyway. And I don't think you're going to want to stay for long." We ease out of the taxi and stand in front of Saint Alexius Hospital. ((Sorry that took so long. I had to find the patron saint of nurses.))

Gabe: "whatevrer," I rolled my eyes. I clasped her hand as we walled to the front lobby entrance. "er um... I'm not sure what exactly to say to them," I whispered to the front desk person.
((well I guess they're in the maternity wing?))

((The latter, and the whole hospital is like a maternity wing)) Ari: I walk up to the desk and sign myself in. "They have a spot open right now, so we might as well go" I say, taking his hand. "You look more nervous than I am."

Gabe: "it's not everyday your girlfriend becomes pregnant with your child," I muttered. I followed her to an empty room, and sat down in one of the plastic chairs.
((narrate doc?))

Ari: I stick my tongue out at him and turn to the doctor. The patron saint of this hospital is Saint Alexius, so it's nurses only in the hospital. The nurse, Nurse Maria, stands in front of me with scrubs and a clipboard. "Hello Ari." She says, her appearance shimmering slightly. She's a Healer. Score 1 for the supernaturals.
Nurse Maria: "Lets start with a blood test shall we?" I say brightly. I gesture to her arm with the needle and take her blood quickly.

Gabe: I have to turn away from the sight and smell of blood to keep it from making me crazy. After she's done, I stare at the nurse. "you're glowing," I whispered faintly.

Nurse Maria: I now and click my heels together. "I know! Makes my job a heck of a lot easier! Now." I reach for the boy's forearm. "Your turn" I say soothingly.
Ari: I rub the bandage on my arm and make a face at Gabe over Nurse Maria's shoulder.

Gabe: I start panicking, breathing quick ragged breaths. I clutch aris hand, refusing to let the needle touch me. I kept jerking my arm away from her. "no-no!! I don't nee blood taken," ii whimpered. So much for being manly.

Ari: I share a look with the nurse. "Oh Gabe." I say teasingly and perch in his lap. "You are too funny." I lean over and kiss him fervently.
Nurse Maria: I chuckle and draw my needle. While the poor guy is distracted, I lean over and draw blood from his arm. Satisfied, I pull it away.

Gabe: I whimper when the needle pierces my skin, but I keep kissing ari. When it was over, I stared at the small spot where the needle had been. "what's next?" I sighed, glad that was over with. "that was scary." I mumbled.

Ari: I smirk and move out of his lap. "You are very easy to please my prince of wolves. Next is an ultrasound."
Nurse Maria: I nod and motion for Ari to sit on the table. "The ultrasound is only for your boyfriend's benefit. I, as you can see, am a Healer, so I already know the baby's approximate size, weight, age, eye color, skin color, gender and! Due date!" I clap my hands together happily.
Ari: I clamber up on the table and lift my shirt slightly. "I kinda figured that much."

Gabe: "well...? Are you gonna tell us?" I wrung my hands nervously. "is it... Human at all...?" I whispered.

((Ooh good question. What do you think?)) Nurse Maria: I shrug. "I'm good, but I'm not a fortune teller. Now, if you'll look at that screen over there," I say drawing his eyes to the monitor.
Ari: She moved the little thing up and down my abdomen as I tried to hold in a laugh. "I'm sorry. I'm just a little bit ticklish." I bit my lip and look over on the screen. I can just barely make out a little crescent moon with feet and hands. "Wow."

Gabe: I walked slowly to the screen, dazed. I reached out to touch it, sighing softly. "it's so small," I mumbled. "is it a boy? Girl? What's it look like?" I frowned, unable to tell from the black and white image.
((girl-half angel half human, boy- half werewolf half human...? Idk))

((I'm thinking a boy, but a half angel)) Nurse Maria: "The eye color is brown obviously, as well as the skin, and what a lovely tone of light brown that is, the hair is dark brown, almost black, and as for the gender..." I turn to the father. "Are you ready? It may surprise you."

((sounds perfect! But maybe he could have gabes personality?))
Gabe: "I'm... I'm ready," I glanced at ari, Squeezing her hand. A boy would be good because I'd be able to rough house with him and bond or whatever, but a girl would be easier to manage.
((brb lunch))

((Hurry!)) Ari: I close my eyes and squeeze Gabe's hand. "Tell us please."
Nurse Maria: "Okay. You're having a baby boy!" I squeal excitedly.
Ari: My jaw drops. "I was wrong! Oh gosh I'm having a boy!" I say breathlessly.

Gabe: "yes!" I shout a bit loudly. I kiss ari excitedly, then hug the nurse with an iron grip. "ohmygod ari! You're having a boy!" I clapped.

((sorry my brother dropped the jelly jar -.-))

Ari: I giggle giddily as Gabe huge the poor nurse. "Aww let her go Gabe. I don't share with anyone" I say, pouting but trying to smother a grin.
Nurse Maria: I kiss Gabe on both cheeks and let him go. "This is a huge event so you need to be responsible. I can't tell you don't drunk, smoke, or take illegal substances, but there are other things that are absolutely not allowed" I say kindly, but sternly. "You know what I mean. Now you are not going to feel well within the next week, so prepare yourself. You probably won't sleep, you'll eat a lot or a little, you will be extremely cranky or extremely romantic and neither are acceptable, so control your emotions."

Gabe: I released the nurse, lifting ari into my embrace. I listened carefully to the nurses instructions. I looked at ari pitifully, silently vowing to be extra nice and take good care of her. "when's the baby coming?" I asked quietly.

((BOOM.)) Nurse Maria: "This is the big part." I say quietly. "Two weeks. Tops. I believe it's a half angel child, so the gestation time is peculiar."

((holy crap. Two weeks!! Ahh that would be crazy I'f it actually happened!!()
Gabe: "two weeks?" I spluttered. I glanced at ari to see how she was taking it. I tried not to show the disappointment in the child being part wolf as well. At least maybe an angel child would be nicer.

((I know right!)) Nurse Maria: "Eh eh eh! Wait a minute, I'm not finished. The boy LOOKS angel. He may have more or mixed abilities."
Ari: I raise my eyebrows. "You mean he could be something new?"
Nurse Maria: I nod. "Mmmhmm".

Gabe: "mixed abilities? Like what? If he looks angel- will he have.. You know, wings?" I ask interested. Wings might be a little hard to hide.

Ari: "I can explain that part. Angels have wings of spiritual matter that can be summoned at will, so they are easy to hide."
Nurse Maria: "Yep! But I'm a healer, so I can see his wings as he lays right-" I poke Ari gently in the belly. "There! Thankfully for you, he's upside down. Believe me, it makes life a whole lot easier."
