It's been awhile since I have read Digital Fortress but I remember really liking this book..and I find it very relevant to modern life as we know it today with all these threats to our online security. I don't recall Edward Snowden, the name sounds vaguely familiar but I just can't place it..anyways, It was an awesome book. I have loved all of Dan Brown's novels so far..to date I have read, Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress..i think that's about it (I have seen the movie Angels and Demons, have not read the book tho) I also have his book Deception Point, it looks interesting..

He has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize even though he is a USA fugitive now living in Russia.
Hi Matthew,
I highly recommend you also read The Lost Symbol and his latest, Inferno. I couldn't put Inferno down. The combination of introducing Dante's, The Divine Comedy and a global threat was absolutely spectacular. Hope you will enjoy them. Happy reading! :)

Antonello, I actually have read the Lost Symbol as well. That book was AMAZING. Of all the books I have I really wish I still had the Lost Symbol, to me that is one of those books you could read over and over again and never get bored with. Of all of his books I have read thus far I would have to say that The Lost Symbol and Digital Fortress have been favorite by far. It has been so long since I have read the Da Vinci code but I will put that one on my list of favs as well
Hi Matthew,
I completely agree with you. If you haven't read his latest novel, Inferno, I highly recommend you do so. Since you enjoyed The Lost Symbol, I have no doubt that you will also enjoy Inferno. Go check it out. I look forward reading your thoughts on it. Take good care! :)

I am currently reading Inferno and its quite captivating and full of mysteries. Once a person starts reading he/she wouldn't stop till it get finished.
enjoy the book. I'm sure you will love it! :)
Its hard to believe an author like Dan Brown can commit a mistake. In the chapter 23 of Inferno, Langdon decipher CATROVACER by stating that the seventh ditch is the first ditch, means the seventh letter in the CATROVACER, which is A, should be the first one in the rearranged word. But, strangely the first letter becomes C which is the eighth letter. Can anybody decipher this clue?????

You're assuming that the cut had to be made between the demons and the seducers or the 6th and 7th ditch. To decipher the code, the cut had to made between the 1st and 2nd seducer or the 7th and 8th ditch.

It should have been the eighth that became the first and explain from there. This really ruined the intensity for me.
