Yes absolutely. I read it before i even knew about the Da Vinci Code, and thought this book should become a great movie. I wish it had. Some people dont like the detail of biology etc that is put in the book. But i find if fascinating. I feel it was thrilling to read, couldnt wait to turn the page. And I didnt cheat and read the back first. lol
"I am reading the Genesis Code. The protagonist is guy named Joe Lassiter. The antagonist is a guy named Juan Gutierrez. The other characters are:Jim Riodran , Kathy Lassiter ,Brandon Lassiter, The Mattress, Marie Sanders, Jessie Sanders, and Father Azetti.
The setting is in Italy and Washington D.C. in the 1990s.The theme is you should never give up even if it is a tough case.the point of view is in first person.Joe Lassiter is trying to figure out who murdered his older sister and her son.
The conflict is that there is a mystery about who killed Joe Lassiter's older sister and her son.He pretty much goes around the world trying to find clues. While he tracking down clues, many times he met up with a guy he called the mattress.Every time they met , Joe got beat up.Finally Joe kills that guy.The resolutin is that he finds out that the guy who murdered his sister is Juan Gutierrez. The end."
I thought it was ok, it reminded me a bit of the Da Vinci Code. This genre though is not really me though.
I have to agree, the combination of science and mystery was great. Intrigue to the very last sentence.
