Susan (mrsfun) | 89 comments My daughter just picked up a few of these. I haven't heard of them. Any comments?

Susan (mrsfun) | 89 comments Well, I'm not entirely sure where to put it. Some books cross genres, I believe. I know it's about teen espionage, er, spies. Just found this

My boys were good readers anyway, but I think anything to get the average boy reading something besides Captain Underpants is a good thing.

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 719 comments These books are DEFINITELY Action/Adventure. They're like 007 for boys! I've read the first book--it was a cute, quick little read! I quite enjoyed it!

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 719 comments It wasn't the most well-written thing ever, and it was sort of predictable in a James Bond way, but it was fun.

Miranda (miranda0989) I had to do the first one ("Stormbreaker") for my children's lit course - it was riddled with amazing coincidences and packed with nonstop blood-pumping action which I found a bit wearing, but I can see how 12-15 year old boys would LOVE it! Apparently it's hugely popular, another one of those "it got my boys reading" books.

Luann (azbookgal) | 274 comments The series is hugely popular in my library - mostly with 6th-grade boys. I never even had to "sell" the books. I just set them out on the shelf and several boys immediately started reading them and then asking for more books by him. I know they really like the books when they come in afterwards and ask for the author by name. Most of those same boys have also enjoyed his Gatekeeper series. I haven't read any of his books yet, but plan to try at least one in the near future.
