Modern Good Reads discussion

I am finding that I am loving the new book apps for kids that they have. Do you guys or your kids have any favorites?

And what is your take on it... do you think this is a good idea, or does it take away from the value of "reading" a book?

I haven't read any of them myself, but I think making book apps for kids is a good idea as long as they're telling interesting stories.

I had a few books on for my kids, but recently had to put a stop to it. My son started getting really upset when the tablet got taken away... I have to keep that in moderation, but will let him sit with books as long as he wants.
