I live in Phoenix, Arizona United States. Although Phoenix is a huge city, I think 6 million people, we live in a desert. Well this week we are expecting 118 F heat. Although the nights will cool off to the 80s so it is not so bad. In the winter our daytime temp is around 60 something, but can drop to the 20s or low 30s. I have lived here pretty much my whole life.

I live on an acreage southeast of a small town (Stettler) in Alberta Canada. I have lived here for 17 years now. My husband and I live on a dead end road and you must come into our yard to get turned around so the only traffic we have are people who are coming to visit or who are lost. It is very quiet here.

Have you ever been there before? I farthest south (and I don't count it as the south) is Texas

How wonderful, I have never been to the south. The farthest south I have ever been was Texas, and I really don't consider it south. Are they big towns I have never heard of them.
