I don't know what I'm doing here, with tons of homework not done... Alec thought as he strode through the grassy area. He thought of the pile of homework that still was tucked inside his backpack, untouched. Groaning at the thought of going through all the same questions again, he didn't feel special for being a year away from graduation at the age of fourteen. He heard of people graduating high school and moving on to college at the age of twelve...

Max strolled through the courtyard, fingering the Codex ring. He couldn't believe that the Sumners had a long history full of magic called Skyfire, which ran through each generation's veins. He looked at the ring which controlled the amount of Skyfire he used every time he used the Skyfire. He was so absorbed in looking at the ring until he tripped over a rock and stumbled momentarily. He could hear in the background some other students laughing at him but he ignored it and stood up, face flushed.

Alec turned at the noise and raised his eyebrow at the boy lying on the ground. He noticed the Codex in the other boy's hand. "Codex. Oh, you're a Summer, aren't you? Your family has a huge history with the Skyfire, doesn't it?" He gestured at the Codex.

Max turned around to face the boy who spoke to him. His face returned to its normal colour and he nodded. "Yes I am." He ignored a few other changelings who laughed at him and imitated his face.

"Hm. You're a... Changeling?" Alec asked, eying the boy in front of him. This Summer looked about a year older than Alec himself, though maybe still a grade behind him. He didn't mean to be a rich snob that bragged about his scores and grade-jump but he couldn't help but marvel at the skip of three years... Shaking away those guilty thoughts into his head's trash bin, Alec awaited the other boy's answer.

"No I'm not a changeling. My friend Ernie is a changeling though. I haven't seen him around lately." Max said. He frowned, wondering where Ernie could have gone. Could be possibly be with the Agents of Justice? Ernie had always loved superheroes and dreamed of becoming one.

"If you need help finding him, just ask," Alec said dismissively, turning away and starting to out distance between the two.

"I don't need help to find Ernie." Max said, before walking off, putting even more distance between them. he realised something. "Oi what's your name?!" He called out.

Like he gave me his, Alec thought. But he ignored himself. "Sebastian Aelxander Farra, why? Are you going to give me yours, Mr. Confident?" He found himself calling back. He wished he took back the ending insult but his rudeness stopped him from doing so.

Max frowned at the rudeness but ignored it. "Grayson Maximillian Sumner. Call me Max." He replied. He sighed, wishing he had a shorted name but well, max was himself and he didn't want to be anybody else.

I don't think I'll need to call you anything. Alec might have just said it out loud but he held himself this time. He shook his head at his own grumpy behavior and left the courtyard. ((What's the first period?))

Lucian showed with two packs on his back and a camel pack for each of them. He had more weapons on him then usual his spear and hunting blade but also a few trowing kunai and a strip of senbon and a long compound bow also he had a mask around his neck.

Lucian smiled most reacted to him when he hunted like that. "I came prepared as I always do, Isn't that right Erebos." He looked to his wolf which was happy to be hunting with company.

Lucian saw her awkward form with the crossbow "You want to learn a bit about that before you have to use it?" He asked kindly not wanting her to hurt herself with a unfamiliar weapon.

"It's fine it doesn't look like its yours anyway." He smiled and walked over and changed her handholds on the bow "Hold it like this for one." He said from next to her ear

He smiled and then said "Ok now bring the sight up to where you feel comfortable." He said noting her body tensing and her voice shifting to a sweeter tone.

He saw a small flaw in her form and adjusted the butt of the bow a bit down and to the left then saw the sight was off a little. "See that feels a little different and better right?" He asked smiling a bit as she gazed into his eyes.

Erebos felt nosy so he butted Lucian's leg.

He looked down at the wolf "Hey Why are you butting in?"

"I need to adjust the sight though." He said as he moved his eye to the right spot and adjusted it not noticing he had to press right up to hers to move it.

Lucian smiled as he back his face a little to see her clearly "Why not? I don't mind doing it." He said after which he kissed her on the cheek.

He smiled and put his hand on her cheek pressing a little stronger on her lips as his body tensed from the contact.

He grinned he never really had that much contact with humans "I don't know it just felt right." He said shrugging.

Lucian went into his hunter mode and his footsteps went silent while he noticed the forest seemed drawn to Candace.

"So Nature does commune with you." He said drawing an arrow from his quiver and knocking it. as he sniffed knowing where the dear was now.

He frowned and knew what she meant " Don't worry he won't feel anything and I don't waste a shred of an animal oh and I bury the bones so they enrich the soil." He said drawing back the bow aiming for the spinal column just under the brain stem which would cut the nerves off.

Lucian sighed and held his arrow sighting another deer off farther "Whats your range on the sense?" He asked wondering if he killed the other one if she would feel it.

"I'll will make it painless for him then." He said sighting again at the same spot where the deer wouldn't even know it died. He released the arrow and it was a perfect shot and the deer froze its brain not able to send or receive signals then fell its legs frozen.

"Yes He didn't even feel it though see." He went and moved the arrow a bit to show he had disconnected the spinal cord so the deer didn't know what hit it.

"Okay you want to watch this it will get quite gruesome if you aren't use to the sight?" He asked not wanting her to see something that nasty if she didn't want to.

"Ok I will be there soon." He pulled out his hunting blade then realized "F***" I have no where to put all the meat!" He smacked his head 'why did I do this without getting a dorm'

He pondered as he went about cutting skinning and then burying the deers bones. He noticed the Cooler and smiled then pulled out the rope in his pack and tied it around the cooler then started climbing a tall tree lashing the cooler into a high place away from the reach of the animals. He looked down at his hands and blade covered in the deer's blood "Well probably should clean up before seeing Candy shouldn't I buddy?" He asked the wolf sitting chewing on a bit of meat he left for him the wolf looked at his as if saying "Duh!"

Lucian walked up silently and covered her eyes as she finished smiling saying "Guess who?" Erebos lay next to the blanket quietly.

Lucian moved next to her ear and whispered sexily "Whatever you wish." He stood still awaiting her reaction.
