This is horrible! I'm a writer and I know how hard it is to create your stories and your characters. To have someone come along and just steal it...is beyond believing! I hope the authors take action about this person!! Thanks for letting us know about this!! Good work, Good Reads and Readers!!

Thanks very much, Barbara, for summing up everything that's happened with this story! It's absolutely appalling to hear about this sort of plagiarizing behaviour. It'd be a shame if it ended up giving a negative reputation to self-published/indie authors as a group, since I'm sure the majority of them don't plagiarize (and after all, plagiarism has been known to occur even with books published by traditional publishers, although I suspect it's less frequent).
