I love the Eve Duncan series! It has been a while since I've found a book that's hard to put down. Edge of your seat books. If you like Bones or CSI, you will really enjoy these books.

Is that true!! Eve Duncan Series is the edge of the seat books. Thank you for putting up the thread. And WELCOME TO THE GROUP
Thank you so much!!! I like to read things in order, although I'll do it out of order if I absolutely have to.
You are terrific, I wish I was that way. I rarely read things in order. Usually I go to the library or the book store and look at the title and read the synopsis. If it sounds good I will pick it up. Then I find out it is a trilogy or a series. Since being a member of good reads I'm better, but I'm still to impulsive, so I usually don't wait to find out if it is a series.
I am the same way! But, if I really like the back of the book with the description, I find out the first book and I get it. This series, I had to order the first book. I look up online about the author and other books. I am so in to this series! I need to see if the book store has the next book and if not, I'm going to have to order it again.
I know my library has it on order, but it usually takes a few days longer to get it then if I were to buy it. Since I am retired, I have found that I usually get my books from the library, rather than buying them. I rarely go out and actually buy a new book, especially one that is hardback. IF I buy a book it is usually a used copy. I have a few places in my town that I can get used book inexpensively.
That's a wonderful idea! And it definitely saves money. I'm buying the books because I really like them and I hope my daughters will read them. I have my middle daughter, who's 14, on the first book, but I don't know if she started it yet. This is such a wonderful series that I will definitely spend money for! And I haven't been to half price books yet, but I will buy used books. You're a wonderful person to talk to. I get a very good feeling about you. I just came down with a yucky disease that I am in chronic pain 24/7 and reading helps take my mind off of it. And talking to you! Thank you!
I don't know if anyone cares, since I feel like I am here by myself, I am back. The surgery went well and after a week of recovery I have cut the pain pills to a couple a day. I have no stamina, but what the heck. I am really getting sick of liquids though-two weeks to go.
Keep on pushing Mrs. Dee! I've been so busy that my legs feel like they r about to come off. Liquid diet? Ya, I'd be sick of it too. My prayers are with you!
thanks Tracey, I kind of cheated and had solid food, boy was I sorry. It feels like a lead balloon in my stomach and it doesn't want to digest. Back to liquids and no cheating.
