Dez was walking home from school(?). She was really tired for some reason, and she was thinking. Completely lost in thought, she bumped right into someone. "Sorry," She muttered.

Zach: As I walked down the street, a girl bumped into me. I don't think she knew me, because then shed be scared. "Hey, I'm Zach" Lyla and the other little kids could wait a minute for me to be polite.

((oh pshaa 1st person i forgot))

Destiny: "I'm Destiny," I say, smiling slightly.

Zach: I'd ask if she was new, but there's no coming or going here. "So, do you like music?" Zach hadn't talked to a girl over the age of eight for a while, except teachers.

Destiny: "I like to sing," I admit as we walk. "That's a bit of a strange question to ask, don't you think? Different. I like that,"

Zach: "Well, I'm a bit strange. Do you sing just in the shower, or other places too? Showers are great places to sing. And to think about things you normally wouldn't " I really didnt know how to talk to girls, or anyone really.

Destiny: "I do sing in the shower," I say laughing. "The shower is a great place to think too," I agree.

Zach: "I normally just think in the shower, because singing gets on my dads nerves. If you're dying to hear me sing, I play my guitar for some kids by the edge of town. They get out of school soon, so maybe you can sing too"

Destiny: "That would be cool," I agree. My younger brother had agreed to walk my two other sisters, and other brother home from school today. I walked extra slowly today, to soak up the sunshine.

Zach: Okay, she was into music, kids, pretty, and for some reason, not running from me. She's perfect. "My best friend Lyla will be there, but don't worry, she's seven." Not just my best friend, my only friend.

Destiny: "Lyla? My younger sister, Faith, knows her. I think that they're in the same class." I reply.

Zach: I probably shouldn't have mentioned that my best friend is seven. "You're going to judge me now for that aren't you?" I said sarcastically, "I should tell you, the coolest people are seven, except you." Did I just say that? Uh oh......

Destiny: I smile, looking down. "I'm not going to judge you for that." I say. "My only friends are my siblings." I shrug. "Unless... We're friends?"

Zach: I smiled, relieved and happy. "I guess we are friends, Lyla might be jealous." Oh, Lyla will be waiting "Do you want to come sing for the kids now? They also like stories. Personally, I like those ones that no one knows about, like Snow White." I was rambling again, I should just shut up

Destiny: "I love those, I tell my kids. I mean my brothers and sisters, those all the time." I had said kids because... They were like my kids, I practically raised them."And sure, we can go now."

Zach: "My mom told them to me, it's so different from now, castles, princesses, fair rulers, perfect love. Now it's the Capitol and us acting as slaves." Mom had such a huge opinion on everything, before the Capitol happened to her.

Destiny: "I know," I say sadly. "The reaping is soon," I say. I had almost forgotten about it, it had been all I could think about these past few days.

Zach: "If I'm chosen, will you look after Lyla?" This put an end to my sarcasm and wits.

((My moms making me go to bed soon. It's midnight here))

Destiny: I look up at him in the eye for the first time. "Yes, yeah. I will," I stammer. He had really nice eyes...

Zach: Her eyes were so open and honest. She was beautiful, and if I was the Prince from a fairy tale, I'd kiss her, but I wasn't sure she wanted to.

Dez: I snapped out of my momentary trance, looking away and tucking a stray piece of hair behind my ear. "So, lead the way,"

Zach: I looked away and started walking down the path. When I got there, there was about five kids. "Hi, this is Dez. She's going to help me here" I said. I pointed to a cute kid with chubby cheeks " this is Matt" then to a girl with dark bangs covering her eyes. "Rosanna" A short red head "Luke" A girl with blonde pigtails "Carrie" And finally, Lyla. Zach: Lyla liked her, or shed say something nasty in her math language. I pulled out my guitar. I smiled and said "who wants to sing a song?"
