Bethany Thomson: she walked by the streets of the district searching for something to eat that someone may had forgot or threw. She did this everyday, then she went to search for the food that she earned from putting her name another time in the reaping, she was about 45 time by now, but until the reaping she would be probbably more times. At least her siblings had more odd on their favor, it was totally worth it.
Autumn: I leave the town square with the items I bought. For what use? I still wasn't sure. But the games would start soon. And I was yet to see two more children die.
Autumn: I ssee a girl looking through the streets for food. I blink, staring at her for a while. "Hello?" I finally call out to her. "Do you need help?"
Beth looked up "nope, I'm fine" she said smiling, she had seen this girl before, but she couldn't quite remember were "I'm just looking for something, thanks"
Autumn: "Oh, okay." She was hungry. I could tell. So instead, I walk over to a nearby trashcan that was clean and empty, and threw my paper bag full of steaming hot buns inside.
Beth glanced at Autumn and waited until she wasn't looking to to take the bag, she usually felt embarassed to do this but it was the only way to keep her family living. She didn't even looked the food in it, instead she runned to her house to give it to her brother, she was starving but she didn't cared at all.
Back at home she took her knife and went threw the fence to look on the traps she had left, maybe it cuaught something good this time. When she headed out of the woods she had attached to her belt two squirrels and a rabbit, she headed without doubting to The Hob, her dad hated her going there, but it was their best shot, she went there when her dad was out and came back with stuff for the house, as blankets or things like that. She bartered one squirrel and a rabbit for a big wool blanket and two little shirts and left the hob
Beth was coming form the hob with a bag with her trades, she wasn't paying much attention on the road, when she looked up it was to late to step out the girl's way and she run into her hitting her head "sorry"
"I'm fine" she said taking her head "it was my fault, I was to distracted" when she took her hand off her head she saw it had blood on it, she must have hit the girl really hard to cut
"No, you're not. You're bleeding. Um, here, come back to the apothecary, I can help you out with that."
Beth doubted a little before walking behind her "oh, thanks" she hugged her bag near her chest tightly following the girl to the apothecary.
"I'm the older of five children, we live with our father" she said now more confident "how about you?" she said smiling too
"Oh, wow, that's a lot. I only have two brothers, they're twins and they're older than me, and they works in the mines with our father."
"my dad works at the mines too" she said nodding "you work at the apothecary, right? I've seen you before, you're really good, that's what I heard nayways"
"Yeah, I work there. I'm not the best, but I guess I'm decent." She said, shrugging. "So, here we are."
she looked around, she never had the change to enter here, it was awesome, that was what was crossing her mind so she just said it "this place is awesome"
beth nodded "yeah, you're lucky. The thing about this that makes me more nervous is leaving my family, my dad's salary cannot feed all of us"
"I took all the tesserae" Beth said, she didn't wanted the girl to feel pity or something so she asked before the girl could even wander how many times Beth's name would be on the reaping "what's your name? I forgot to ask"
"Bethany, but I prefer Beth" she said smiling "so, Kiera, what are you going to do with my face? you broke it you fix it" she said joking as she used a fake indignat tone
"I'm going to clean the cut, then put some herbs on it that will help it heal, then bandage it. Nothing too complicated."
"cool" she said pulling her hair out of the wound as she cleaned it "do you have a lot of work here?"
"I have a fair bit. It's been pretty quiet this past week." Keira said, starting to apply the herbs and then bandage her forehead.
"nope" she quikly said, the she tought a little and added "actually, could you take a look at my ankle, it's been hurting for a wile now, just to rule out a fracture or something"
that ankle was bothering her for a week now "thank you so much" she said thankfully putting her foot on the table
"It's no trouble, really. Okay. Can you move it in a circular motion? Tell me when and where it hurts, and how bad."
Beth moved her foot, when it pointed to the right she frowned "ouch, there it hurts" she said "not enough to not walk, but still, hurts"
she sighted "oh thanks god, I cannot afford having a broken angle right now, you know?" she said still smiling "thank you Kiera"
"You're very welcome. I recommend going easy on the ankle for about the next week. No running, no extreme sports. Hopefully no hunger games. Ever."
"oh yeah, that would be a good prescription, maybe the odds are in our favor right?" she said standing up again
