Very similar, but out of these two I would pick James.

It is hard to make a choice between two similar alpha males...but I think Christian is the one I'd choose :)

Definitely Christian because I found James too overbearing and I didn't like the whole "collar" bit. Way too controlling!!!
Hard to pick. Both are alpha males, hell bent on control. Christian does mellow some in the third book, while James keeps aggressive throughout most the books, though he does give her space, where Christian is a constant presence. I don't know...both have their strong points and their negative points. I would have to say Christian, because he only wants to put a ring on her finger, not pierce her nipples or collar her.
i don't know if i could really pick one over the other. both are incredibly sexy and caring and they provide for their lover's EVERY need. They both have the means to protect their women.....but i think that the one thing that sways me is that Christian provides Ana with a professional opportunity that is EXACTLY what she wanted to do and was doing even before him and while James seems to be doing that with Bianca - it seems like it's a bit further from 'normal'
I am on the fence with this one, they both are sexy as hell and dominant, they certainly know how to pleasure their women and make them fall in love with them. Nope can't choose between the two

i love the both christian might have his hang ups but i find him far more dominant than james there is something that is ultra alluring about christian character....PS so upset about the movie
