Has anyone ever heard of and or used www.olivenation.com?
I found them in a web search for cherry extract and a 4 oz. bottle of real extract is $7.99, which is excellent since 1 oz. of a pure extract can run $3.99 and up depending on where you go store wise around here.
If you have used this site and their products, please let me know if it is worth it to try them out or if we all need to keep looking.

O.K. here we go. I still cannot find cherry extract locally. Paul found a company that sells to the public via their site as well in stores. They also make other things beside extracts, so many of the stores listed as carrying the product carry the other things, like soap.
I found an e-how on making your own extract and the only thing I ended up with was red vodka, so that was a bust. I will try the mail order aspect of the company Paul found and I am still interested in any help you all can find. I have found the extract as a dietary supplement but am having a really hard time finding it for baking.

Hey, so I'm pretty new to goodreads, but I stumbled across your discussion board here, and I'm not sure where you're located, but I just wanted to let you know that The Prepared Pantry has some really nice flavorings - including cherry. They're Marsden and Bathe. It's worth checking out if your still interested.
Yeah sure! It's actually both. We're located in Rigby, Idaho, but we have a pretty successful online site too. Here's the link (right to the cherry extract): http://www.preparedpantry.com/cherry-...(You'll probably see me on there, so don't be alarmed haha, I just really love baking)
You are a prince! I checked it out and it is reasonable in price so I will be ordering it soon. THANK YOU SO MUCH! :)
Kim, unfortunately I'm pretty sure we don't have coupon codes for the cherry extract right now. We have coupon codes occasionally, but we do have a lot of deals and sales going on almost all the time. You can sign up for our newsletter on our home page and that will update you on all the sales we have going on. You can also follow us on Facebook - we update our sales there too. I hope this helps, if you have any other questions let me know :)
I'll keep the newsletter in mind as I don't do social media beyond here. I am also intrigued by the lime extract and have already decided what I'm going to do with that. I really appreciate the help, and I will be ordering today.
Thank you again for your help. I look forward to trying the rest of the extracts. Wild Blueberry has my attention.
My extracts arrived yesterday. So prompt! I ordered them on Saturday. I,of course, have opened them and tasted them. The cherry tastes just like what I have been using all along and the lime smells wonderful. I am thinking of Cherry Limeade bread......
AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGG! It appears that McCormick is at it again and has gotten rid of yet another extract! Raspberry. I cannot find it anywhere and I asked at the grocery if it was possible to order it (in case MY location was no longer carrying it but it was available to other stores)which it is not. So, call McCormick at 1-800-632-5847 or www.mccormick.com and help me protest.
As a side note, you can request coupons from McCormick every 3 months for products you use by calling them or emailing them. They are really nice but this "because we feel like yanking things off of the market" has got to stop.
I guess I will just have to buy it from Dennis at the Prepared Pantry ( I always want to call it the Pampered Pantry.....).
*Sigh*

Call McCormick at 1-800-632-5847,contact them via their web site wwww.mccormick.com, tweet, instagram, what have you. Let other bakers know about this as they may not have needed it and may not have realized that is was no longer available (like me, who would buy 3 bottles at at time). Also, if any of you have used this product, and are now using a comparable one, please let me know what store you found it in as I do not web shop (remember, I use public access computers, so not so comfortable about flashing my info!).
Thank you all for your help. Hopefully we can get it back!
