A spa facility.

Vee walked into the spa's lobby towards the receptionist. Not even faking a smile "Hot stones session" the receptionist blond and dead beautiful showing too much cleavage nodded politely avoiding the small talk and handed her a form to fill.

Vee filled it quickly not giving herself time to think. Five minutes and she handed the blond back the form. "The next open session is an hour and half from now" Vee nodded "I'll take it" gave her the cash deposit for confirmation and went to sit on one of the fluffy couches. She sank in it asked for white wine getting out one of her all time favorite books The Captive and hopes to rest her minds for a while.

As Jax walked back from the Motel, his mind thought of how surreal to know that he had a brother, a twin brother no less! Growing up in a foster care his childhood had been a series of families liking him at first but not loving him enough to make him their son. He knew that it if hadn't been for Lea who he had treated as a friend to a loved one who he wanted to a kiss and finally to a sister he was affectionate to, he was kind of lonely now that he think about it.

Maybe he should go to Oklahoma to where she was so that he can at least feel think of having a sister. His feet stopped and like a moth to a flame, his eyes saw a spa of some kind and he cringed as he thought of Lea had liked that stuff. He walked forward and smiled, this is somehow weird but he felt some kind of emotion of being home as he walked to the spa. Maybe it was Lea's fault he was going to enter it but it made him lighter and that was not a thing to take for granted.

Vee looked up as a pretty young girl maybe her age handed her the glass of wine. Vee smiled at the girl hoping it would help her day as it seems like a dull job, she probably was a squib. She didn't know if it's bad that it made her happy to feel sorry for someone else for a change.

As she took a sip of her wine she noticed a guy hovering in front of the spa, she chuckled guys are always so self conscious about this stuff. However the smirk was instantly wiped of her face as she noticed the messy hair on top of the random guy's head. Except he wasn't random.

"Shit" she muttered as she sinked a little in her couch hoping he would and wouldn't see her. "Holy fuck Jax what are you doing here" she thought to herself. She was aching for his company but wishing he's disappear at the same time.

The air grew still as he slowly walked to the entrance. His breath came in pants now like he had been running and it was exhilarating. In the future, he would do this again so that he can feel alive even for a slight moment. He stepped through the automatic doors and he felt a shock go through him as he did so. Something was making him this way and he was going to find it.

He late his gaze roam the room and he was greeted by a chippy, "Welcome to Le Spa! Would you like to try our promo for today, Sir?" His head followed the voice to where it was and he was shocked to see the eyes of the girl who had ran away when he was playing the piano. All was quiet as he made his way to her.

"Crap" Vee muttered as she straightened herself. Well she can't avoid him forever anyway might as well get over her ego. For now. "Hey, If you needed a back rub many of our circle ladies would've complied" she said jokingly. Maybe she should call Leah for help, at least she knew Jax before he came to Daggers Hill, a familiar face may help him feel more relaxed or less confused at least.

Jax tilted his head to the side as confusion as he heard her words. "Not interested," he said slowly as it dawned in him. He was like that before, before knowing what love truly is but now he was too wounded and broken to let a woman love him again. His eyes ate her...and he snapped out of it as he realized that he was scoping her out. Clearing his throat he asked, "What about you? I'm sure Stefan would be interested." Those words flowed through him without thought and he gasped as he comprehended what he just said.

Vee was stunned for a second but then recovered quickly "Oh I'm sure he would" she said with mischief gleaming in her eyes. Why was she trying to make him jealous? She slapped herself mentally. "Have a seat Jax you like you'll faint hun" tapping the empty couch. "What are you really doing here though?" She was really curious, however she couldn't helo the feeling in the pit of her stomach that leaving Jax in the dark is not the best strategy, she'll have to talk to Hunter about this.

Jax sat by her side with regret. He wasn't like this at all with the others and he was sorry that he had said those words to Vee but in the back of his mind, he was feeling jealous which was a joke since this was their 2nd meeting. Shaking his head as he turned to look at her with an apologetic smile, "Sorry... well I was about to go back to the mansion when I saw this place." He didn't say to her that he was pulled to the spa since that would sound crazy.

"Oh I'm sure you were" she said shaking her head in amusement. So Jax wasn't a dick before he came here? He was actually a nice person? She doubted it, probably the surprise left him stunned. "I was gonna come here with" she shifted uncomfortably "umm, a friend a yesterday" or was it the day before? She lost count. "But things went horribly wrong" a trace of bitterness crossed her face. She was so close! So close to reach her Jax but in vain. "Do you want to join me?" Shit! What's wrong with me!! Please say no she prayed silently.

He looked at her green eyes and smiled, "Sure." He may not like it but he wanted to spend his time with someone, anyone. The air felt static at the moment and he sighed that he was still feeling it. He was intrigued by what she said about the things that went wrong but it was rude to ask since it was none of his business anyway. Leaning back on the seat he asked her, "What massage are you getting?" From his experience with Lea, he knew there was a lot and he silently wished that Vee would pick the least way of torture.

"Oh, I'm into pain right now" she said smiling, she then felt horrified at how kinky she sounded "Hot stones" she explained flushing a little. Oh what she wouldn't give up to jump him right now right here, and felt herself flush even more. She inched herself a little closer to him unconsciously. "Tell me something" she said trying to diffuse the darn tension between them.

He watched her intently, quite mystified that Vee would say those words to the likes of him. If she was into that stuff maybe...What the hell? He slightly shook his head so that there would be no continuation to what he was thinking. He had never thought of that when he was with Her and this was all kinds of bizarre thinking it with another woman. "What?" He asked as he only chuckled at her words.

"What's your darkest secret?" She asked simply. It was s trick of hers, no one would ever answer truthfully, they might even change the subject but at least it kept the conversation going. Her eyes gleaming as the time passed by holding him under her gaze afraid she might lose him again if she looked the other way.

"Letting someone close to me die," Jax said without hesitation and he was surprised that it suddenly popped out of his mouth. He sighed and smiled at her sheepishly, "I'm sorry if I embarrassed you with my words." He broke her gaze and looked straight ahead. No one had ever asked him what his darkest secret was and telling it to someone he just met was a big leap from being moody.

"Jax, You'll find that I'm rarely embarrassed" pulling her hair up in a ponytail she thought about what he said. He must be talking about June, she sighed. Maybe he'd be better off without her, yes. They'll just have to find a way to fix Quin up so they would both leave this place. She'll be okay, she has friends who would die for her and vice versa. But Jax only had his brother and maybe Leah who seemed to have the tendency to disappear into thin air.
She realized she was still holding her book, so she dogeared the page and closed it.

Jax looked at in the corner of his eye and smiled without knowing. "That's good, I guess." He knew he shouldn't but he was about to ask when that chippy voice that greeted him, "Miss Vesta, you're massage is ready." Standing from his seat, he walked to where the receptionist was, "Good Morn, but can you Miss Vee's massage to a couple's massage?" He asked in a light tone not noticing that the girl had blushed at the tall, cute guy in front of her, "Of course." The girl immediately typed in somthing in her computer before smiling at him, "Changed."

Nodding he went back to Vee's side. "Let's go." Pulling her up by her hand making him aware that she stood close to him.

If she can't have him as a lover, maybe she can have him as friend then. She pulled her hand from his took a step back and suddenly jumped on his back. Crossing her hands around his neck she whispered in his ear "Let's go then" then giggled like the idiot she has become. Her subconscious shaking her head disapproving. She was pushing her luck and she knew it. But what the hell? She scolded herself but didn't get off him.

Jax was stunned when she jumped on his back like a deranged monkey but that all ended when her front pressed to his back tightly, he almost groaned if not for the fact that the receptionist said something overhead. Grabbing her legs so that she wouldn't fall off he turned his face to the side so that he can whisper to her, "Never thought a woman would be into this," chuckling he walked to where the receptionist stood waiting flashing a number two with her hand. Nodding gratefully he went down the hall to where a big 2 marked the door. Letting a hand open the door while his other hand secure her legs he opened the door.

"You'd be surprised what I'm into babe" she said jumping off as they enter the room. There was a guy and girl in the room waiting, and of course they were both super hot. She wondered if that was one of the qualifications they look for. "Hello, I'm Ian and this is Tina" he said pointing at his redhead partner. The girl offered Jax a robe and Vee couldn't help but feel jealousy boiling under her skin. Ian offered her an identical robe and she took it "thanks" she winked walked into the changing room without a word to Jax.

He watched her and he couldn't wipe the smile off his face. With a nod to both of the masseuses he turned to where he went into the stall to where he will be changing. Shrugging off his shirt and pants with the ease of man taking his time. He looked at the flimsy bathrobe with distaste. He would be lucky if the thing would cover his ass but since he was shy of his nudity in front of Vee he put it on.

He hang his clothes on the metal bar there and he went out so that they can start. "Please sit," Tina said with a professional smile on her face. Walking to the bad that she had indicated he did and waited for Vee to come out.

Vee took her time changing her anger boiling that "Tina" will have her hands all over her boyfriend or ex or whatever! After she stripped off completely, she thought about walking out naked, but then discarded the idea. Ian will be all over her too so no need to stimulate his perv thoughts.
Putting her robe on, it was too damn short, bit she didn't care, she's worn less. Fixing her hair she walked out confidently. Why are you torturing him? Her subconscious scolded but she ignored it.

He was looking at the oils on the table beside Tina when he heard soft footsteps from behind him, "Glad you can grace us with your pres--" He stopped as he got the first look of Vee wearing the robe. She had not tighten the ties and the V of the robe was almost revealing her chest. His gaze ate her legs and he imagined something that so visual that he gulped. He looked at Ian who wasalso watching Vee and he growled at him. Was he jealous that the male was eying Vee like she was prime rib? That's a big an resounding YES! He smiled stiffly at Vee, "I guess we should start."

"Please" she said fluttering her eyelashes a bit. If Hunter knew what I was doing at this moment, he would flip! He'd probably lock me in the mansion so I don't ever see Jax again and I wouldn't blame him. I'm uncontrollable when he's around; distracted and quit frankly turned on.
I shook my head as I sit on the bed giving Jax my back and slide my robe off taking sanctuary in the covers laid out for my use or lack of it. I stretch on my front and Ian asks if I'm ready he's breathing a bit heavy. Perv. Can i blame him though? "Yes" I reply, no flirting, no games because suddenly I want to get this over with.

He should look away but he couldn't as he watched Vee;s back bare to the world. He almost stood up when he saw Ian the *ssh*le was licking his lips and he was about to when he felt a small hand on his shoulder, "Don't. It's just Ian is a big idiot with women and this is the only time he can touch them," Tina whispered in his ear.

With a nod he slipped off his robe, quite thankful that Tina had averted her eyes to give him some sense of privacy. He quickly stretched on his front and he heard Tina rubbing her hands with oil. He was about to say take it easy when her hands got to his shoulders. He groaned as her fingers pushed at the tense muscle and he sighed as Tina found the knotted muscle. He should have done this a long time ago, he thought as his eyes closed shut.

Ian starts rubbing her shoulders with some kind of scented oil, she starts to relax a little wishing it was Jax rubbing her back. ENOUGH! She shouted at herself internally, this needs to stop now! Sighing "Ian, can you be a darling and start with the stones already? I'm in a hurry" she said not giving any hint of how uncomfortable he made her feel. But he ignored her and continued massaging her anyway.
Now she's pissed "Ian, put the damn rocks already" and her back starts tensing again. "I'm not paying you to feel me up!" Her voice getting louder. Ian staggers "Yes sure, I'm sorry" scared that this may cost him his job.

He almost laughed when he heard Vee's words but instead he sighed in contentment as Tina started to put rock on his back. It started as big, flat stone on the back of his neck and it got smaller as it reached his lower back. His body relaxed as the heated stones threatened to fall down which Tina had remedied quickly. "Is that better?" She asked as her hands touched his back, more personal than before. "Yes," he said curtly. Ian was not the only one being unprofessional here, he thought warily.

The tension spiraling out her back as Ian regained control over his hands and started adding the stones. She sighed audibly and almost drifted to sleep, she actually did sleep before but with with three others in the room, she didn't see that happening.
After 10 minutes of dead silence and removal of the stones, hotter ones were added and she almost screamed a little. She could stay here for the rest of her life.
Keeping herself from drifting she broke the silence "feeling better Jax?" She asked huskily.

He winced as Tina's hand had crept up precariously close to his *ss. If this was what he was going to get from these massages, perverted masseuses the the answer is Hell to the NO! But for Vee's sake he told her in a loud voice, "Yeah. You?" He asked since he still wanted to kick her masseuse for ever touching her which was kind of hard since he was being massaged and harassed as well.

She heard the sarcasm in his tone, she looked his way and Tina instantly flushes. Oh that bitch! "Okay I'm done here and next time you two'd better learn how to control your wandering hands!" she says sternly and Ian instantly starts removing the stones. She puts her robe back on quickly and goes to the showers, washing the oil off quickly she dries off and dresses still fuming! I didn't even get to touch him like that! She shouted mentally, pulling her hair up in a bun she stays a couple of minutes in the changing room hoping to calm herself.

He sighed in relief when she said that she was done. "Me too," he told Tina bleakly. She wouldn't get a tip from him that's for sure. The stones was immediately taken away and he was left all alone in the room since Ian and Tina had fled from it. He didn't bother going to the showers since he was wary that Tina would be there too so he went to where his clothes were so that he can dress. He was finish in a minute and was about to walk out when he noticed that Vee was still in the changing room. Walking up to it he said, "Hey, you...finished?" The last word ended within a whisper as he found her not clothed yet.

"You shouldn't walk up on a lady like that" she says casually giving him her back though her stomach was full of butterflies. He's never seen this much of her before which is thrilling and sad really. Maybe they should've done this spa thing earlier. "But then again, we established that I'm no lady" crap! This slipped, she hope he wouldn't notice that.
She continues getting dresses quickly wanting to get out of this place and check on Hunter, though that probably means the end of her time with Jax. It's probably for the best.

He didn't know what possessed him to step forward until he was only a feet away from her. Her back was to him so that's she didn't see him so close to her. She was dressing herself now, covering that luscious skin of hers and his thoughts faded as lust shot through him like a bullet. He took a step closer and he turned her to him slowly, "And as I said to you the last time, I like you enough that I don't care the others that you had before me..." He trailed off as those words echoed inside him.

Vee gaped at him stunned! What? Did he just say the last time? She shook her head, no she must've imagined that. He can't possibly... Can he? She didn't want to get hopes high and then slam head first in the ground. "Jax?" She asked in whisper barely audible. "Did you say something?" Cursing herself, she should've ignored him. Now things are getting out of control again. She was almost fully dressed now her top hanging around her neck like a scarf.

His head tiled at the right he thought of what he had said to her. How...odd. "I don't know," he whispered to himself but as he looked at Vee right now something was missing and it was a big chunk of it. Whatever it is he shrugged as it faded, "Nothing." Smiling he turned away. "Are you going back to the mansion? If you are, I'll be waiting for you in front of the spa," he walked away and he wished that he knew it because right now it felt like he had pulled away from something vital.

Vee sighs and continues getting dressed. She gets her stuff and leaves without giving any tips to the pervs. She won't come to see Jax tomorrow, that she was sure off. This, the slipping, the flash backs it's all too much and too dangerous. With that she heads for the mansion.

Jax watched her back leaving him and he felt so alone in that moment that he wished that he knew why he said those words to her back in the changing room but he came up with a block like there was something but he didn't know what. He slowly followed her since from her look that she had gave him she needed some space. He sighed and wished again that he knew that blank spot in his mind.
