2. I just broke one on Sunday night... Morganville Vampires.
3. Depends on how badly i want the book and how hard it is to find!
4. I think it completely depends on the person, lol.
5. To be honest, I go for price... On a budget ya know?
1. I don't know anyone who would purposely break the spines of their books! It's absurd. I prefer to keep them looking as new as possible!
2. I accidentally broke one, back in middle school, but everyone's broke as well. It was probably just a really cheaply made book, because it was very thin and flimsy.
3. I would most likely not buy it. Spines are really important to me when it comes to book, so I'll probably look for a better copy.
4. Now, that is a question I can't answer. I don't actually know who the books come from if I buy it used, so I have many theories for this one.
~ If the book was really loved, I don't think someone would sell it, but it all depends on the person like Becky says :-)
~ If someone really loves a book, they might keep it in a better condition, but sometimes it's hard not to break the spine!
5. Whenever I'm online, I started to buy hardcover books since they have really good deals on them at Books-a-million. However, recently, I started buying paperback books as well because if it's a book I really want, but is waiting to get it in hardcover, I might still just buy it in paperback if I really want it :-)
I'm so complicated! I don't even make sense to myself anymore!

1. Do you break the spines? Or do you prefer to keep your books looking new?
2. For those who don't like broken spines, have you ever accidentally broken one?
3. If you are buying a used book, and the spine is broken, how do you feel about it?
4. Do you agree or disagree with the opinion some people have on broken spines meaning that a book is well loved?
5. Because the spines on hardback books can't visibly break, do you prefer buying hardback books over paperback books?
You can answer each question one at a time taking turns sharing opinions instead of one big comment hahaha! :-)
