The ones who read a lot discussion

Is it me or is Love in the Time of Cholera a very slow read? I've given up on it for now. I was impressed by Marquez's very vivid style but I am, I guess, an impatient reader!

A reminder for those of us in Washington County/Johnson City, Tennessee, that April 22 and April 23, 2016, will be the used book sale at the Johnson City Public Library. Members only in the evening. Public on Saturday. We have the book for you, surely!

I agree, I found it to be a very slow read but I made it to the end and wondered why I had wasted my time. Very disappointed.
