I would recommend Rebecca! Very suspenseful romantically and otherwise. Great read.

That has been on my shelf forever. I started reading it in the late winter, but I was very distracted at the time and forced myself to put it away before I got to far. I had anticipated reading it too long that I didn't want anything to get in the way of my truly enjoying the book.

Winter would be the best "backdrop" for reading this. Dark clouds outside and stormy weather would get you right into parts of the scenes. For me it was a very fast, "can't put it down until I finish" kind of read.

I read a couple months ago and loved it Martha! I had seen the movie many times, but that was my first time reading the book.

I loved also. I've only read a few of his books so far (the others are on my TBR list) but I absolutely love Dickens now!

I have that on the list to catch up on for another group (Jenn, I think we both didn't read that with the classics group, tho I really wanted to!) and it's still on my table from the library, so I WILL get to it eventually :)

It's true. For various reasons I didn't do any reading for about four months and I missed out on quite a bit. I think that Rebecca has been nominated and will be in our poll this month though.
