I'll give this a try. Now to find 2 books by Canadian authors that I already own (or can get easily from the library.) Sigh, have to buy new glasses on Monday, so no money for buying books right now. :o( (And it's 3 pairs of glasses, since I need trifocals now. Ah, the joys of having horrible eyesight. That little kid in your class--the one with the coke bottle bottom eye-glasses--that was ME. Got my first pair of bifocals at EIGHT (yes, that's 8, as in third grade.)

This is what I have so far... I might end up changing them. I usually do. :P

Sigh, just finished reading A Summer to Die. (It was recommended on another group I belong to.)

But no way to work it into the theme, even though it isn't either PNR or UF. But, I will recommend it if you have a child (or know one) suffering from a chronic illness. It was hard for me to read because, back 2 months before his 5th birthday my now 17 year old grandson was diagnosed with Wilms--a kidney cancer. For 2 years we fought that beast before he defeated it.

While the children in this book are older (they are teens) it is still a book that should be read if only so that the healthy sibling can realize that it IS ok to feel angry, hurt, upset and uncertain while dealing with the upset their family is going though now.
