Once you have read the book you can share with everyone what you thought of it...

Liji | 2 comments I just finished reading the book. I liked all the characters except Patrick(too preoccupied and arrogant). There was never a dull moment, in my opinion. I cried, laughed and felt angry throughout.

There was a perfect balance of dialogue and descriptions unlike the Twilight Books.

Every time Will made a sarcastic remark or said "Clark.." I pictured Daniel Craig. Maggie Smith kept coming to mind as Mrs Traynor. MGM is going to turn it into a movie. I wonder when production will start.

I could not either. I ended up reading it on my ipod touch and computer from epubbud dot com

Lacey | 7 comments This was a pretty neat book. I finished reading it a few days ago. It's one that brought up a bunch of different emotions in me, and I do have to say I was bothered by the ending. I've never read a book like this before and it was quite the experience. My favorite part would be when Lou and Will "danced" at the wedding. That part had me smiling.

I'll prolly never forget this book! If they make a movie I'll have to see it for sure!!

"Every man dies. Not every man really lives." -Braveheart

The meaning behind this book was something everyone can relate too and that's what made me give it 5/5 stars! I loved that even though Louisa was trying her hardest to show a man (who had thought he lost everything) the reasons he should keep living; she ended learning herself the meaning of life, love and belief in herself.

Although the ending isn't the "happily ever after" ending. I thought it was written the way it should have been! I appreciated how TRUE this novel was and how universal emotions are.

Teresa | 6 comments I quickly enjoyed this book. My favorite was the tag scene at the concert. Maybe yes the ending was predictable but sometimes it's okay. This book made me really think about things, each character I thought about being in their shoes.

I agree, this would make an awesome movie. Definitely a cry jerker!

Teresa I read this book in March for another book club. I loaned it to my mother recently and she loved it, too. I gave it 4 stars.

Quick read and moving story. Was very glad to read the final chapters at home as I was engrossed with the characters of Louisa and Will & was tearful at the end of the book.

What I loved: the birthday present from Will!

What I liked: Louisa's thought process was believable and her family descriptions were vivid and seemed real immersing you into her world.

What I had difficulty with: the thought of a possible assisted suicide.

Would recommend this author to others and intend to read her other titles. I enjoyed her writing style.

Kim (greeneyes0727) | 6 comments WOW! That's all I can say. I love this book 5/5 stars from me. I would not of read this one if it was not for the club and I would of missed out. Went through all the emotions through out the book.
I loved how Lou's boyfriend didn't know about the yellow and black socks but Will gave her the best gift of all and knew her the shortest time.
I would recommend this book and the author to anyone.
Great read!!!
