that's fine with me it will give me more practice being a guy

Ok! Romance-wise I don't go further than kissing. Just saying.

We can have one storyline be "normal" people & the other can be fairy tale characters.

Well neither do I so it's fine.

The crisp autumn breeze made nineteen-year-old Brynn Xavier wrap her coat tighter to her chest. She crossed her arms and picked up the pace, hoping to get to the diner faster.

Jayden massaged the coffee mug he was given from Ruby with his thumb and forefinger. He had ordered his usual- a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream and a touch of cinnamon. Now, he was just searching for motivation to get to work.

Seth was watching the breeze as he sat at the table of the diner. He had just removed his coat and was served the hot cocoa he had just ordered.

Camille was talking at the counter with Ruby. She was laughing a little and saying how she had just gotten a job working with Belle at the library. She would have to leave soon so she could be at the library when it opened.

Brynn hurriedly opened the diner door. Once she was inside the warmer atmosphere, she adjusted her white knit beret and found an empty seat at the counter.

Jayden scanned the area and noticed Camille laughing with Ruby. He knew she would have to go to work at the library soon. He planned to walk with her there.

Seth looked up as the door opened. He saw Brynn (I'm just going to say they know each other) walking in. He, however, was not the type to just go say hi to someone he was too introverted to do that.

Ruby left when Brynn walked in, so Camille checked her phone to see what the time was. She sighed softly when she saw it Almost time for work she thought.

Brynn tapped her fingers on the counter as she waited patiently for Ruby to come take her order. She started to look around and recognized Seth a few seats down. She waved.

Jayden took his empty coffee cup to the diner counter and paid Ruby for his drink.

Seth waved back, when Brynn spotted him. He let a small smile creep across his face before looking away again.

Ruby went to take Brynn's order. After she did she walked back to Camille. Camille smiled and told her she had to get ready to leave. Ruby waved at her from across the counter and told her to come back after work and they would talk some more. Camille nodded as she walked towards the door. Having forgotten that Jayden wanted to walk with her.

Brynn shook her coat off her shoulders and rubbed her arm. Ruby approached her to take her order and she smiled.

Jayden ran to catch up with Camille at the door. "Hey," he smiled and opened the door for her.

Seth stayed where he was drinking his cocoa and reading his book.

Camille looked up at the sound of Jayden's voice, "Oh hey." she said smiling as he opened the door.

Brynn waiting patiently for Ruby to make her hot chocolate. She quickly glanced at Seth, then looked back at the diner menu.

"Almost forget about me?" he teased.

Seth looked up at Brynn every once in a while as he read.

Camille smiled a little, "Maybe I might have."

Ruby brought Brynn's hot chocolate over to her. Brynn cautiously sipped her drink.

"How could you?" Jayden laughed a little.

Seth finished his cocoa and closed his book.

Camille shrugged, "I don't know. I have had a lot on my mind."

Brynn stirred her hot chocolate with the spoon Ruby gave her. She sighed.

Jayden nodded understandingly. "Need to talk about it?"

Seth got up to pay Ruby knowing that he had to get going so he could be at the theater on time.

Camille shook her head, "Not right now, but maybe later, Jayden."

Brynn noticed Seth was leaving, but didn't say anything.

Jayden nodded. They quickly approached the library. "If you ever need anything," he reminded her, being friends and all.

Seth had a little time before he needed to leave, so he walked over to Brynn and said, " Hello."

Camille smiled, "I know I'll call you. And the same goes for you."

"Hey!" Brynn smiled. "What are you up to?"

"Cool," Jayden gave her a small smile before crossing the street, leaving Camille at the library steps that led to the entrance.

Seth smiled a little, " Nothing. Just getting ready to go to work. What have you been doing?" he asked

Camille watched as he walked away before she headed up the steps and into the library.

"Studying. Which sounds horribly lame, but-" Brynn let the sentence die off.

Jayden made his way to his family owned hardware store.

"It's not lame. I have to study too." Seth said laughing softly.

Camille sat at the front desk as she watched Belle help the younger children find books.

Brynn smiled weakly and looked at her hot chocolate. "Right," she whispered.

"Jay! Hey, oh man. Did you arrive at the right time!" his friend, Brandon, greeted. Jayden smirked.

"I'm not making fun of you." Seth said softly.

Camille helped the younger kids check out,, then went to put some of the returned books away

Brynn shrugged. "I know. I didn't take it that way."

Brandon smacked his shoulder. "You better get to work fast. Your old man is here, keeping everyone on their toes."

Jayden tied a hardware apron around his waist. "Don't worry about me. You keep working on whatever you were working on."

Seth nodded, "Okay. Are you alright?" he asked slightly concerned.

As Camille went around putting books away, Belle came and talked to her. Asking about her interests and stuff. Camille answered each questions animatedly which caused them both to laugh.

"I'm fine," she smiled.

Brandon nodded. Jayden went straight to work, knowing his father was watching his every move.

"Alright.." he said checking his phone, "I have to get to work. I'll see you later Brynn."

Camille went back to the front desk after putting all the books away.

"Bye," she waved to him as he left. Once he was out of sight, she smacked her forehead with the palm of her hand. Was she that boring that he needed to check his phone?
