Do you like to read a series? Why/Why not? Do you always read a series in order? If you start the first book in the series do you (like me) feel like you HAVE to continue the series? Which # book in the series do you usually find that you like the best? What is your favorite series?

I love series. I don't necessarily feel like I HAVE to finish a series. If I don't like the first one, chances are the second one will suck harder so I don't even bother. My fav series is the Mortal Instruments series. My fav book is city of glass definitely!

I do love a series, but I hate waiting for the next book to be published, so generally prefer to read a series when it's been completed.
On the series I have loved I generally find that I like book 2 or 3 the best. They tend to get juicy around then without all the scene setting you get in book 1. The longer the series the more I end up disagreeing with the direction taken. Sookie Stackhouse is a perfect example.

No idea what my fave is. I'd have to look through my shelves. To be honest I like pnr series more than ya/na romance series.

I am a series addict. Seems I rarely read stand-alones any more. But since i read so many and most series can be really long I rarely finish them, lol. But I keep plugging along!
