I need everyone's opinion. do you prefer to discuss it as a whole or chapter by chapter?

I'm about halfway through not sure there would be a lot to discuss for each of the chapters. I'm open to whatever though as this will only be my 2nd discussion - I'll leave it to the experts!
I am open to whatever people want to do. We could do a chunk of chapters at a time. That might give people (like me) who haven't quite finished reading yet a chance to participate.
if we say that we would discuss it by chunk of chapters. So, let's say that on July 5th we will discuss the first 6 chapters .
is that ok?
In this first section, I love Percy. I hope the story stays with him more than the other characters. As a relocated New Englander, I love the sound of his voice in my head. So far, I can't see where the Celestino story line is going. There is a lot going on plot and theme-wise so I am curious as to where the story goes.
*at first it Took me time to feel the character of Percy (not sure why).*I really like the character of Clover and her relation with her father. regardless the way she left her family. mostly ones would dislike her for that, but, I felt that she has that kind of childlike spontaneous character that would force you to like her no matter what.
*It was so frustrating when the author throw that sentence about Poppy's death at the end of the first chapter. and when I turned the page eagerly to know more about, only to found that the author shifted to Celestino!
*I Didn't like/understand why they didn't mention Trudy's name in the third chapter and kept mentioning her as (Robert's mother).
Can't wait to complete reading it.
PS: I'd like to apologize for my slow reader. I'm not the faster reader in the world . but these days(mostly because of the situation in my country)
