What music do you listen to while writing?

Loud stuff with a heavy beat. Usually.

Your supposed to listen to music while writing?! I don't do that....

If it helps you, then YES! I love music while writing. Right now, I'm stuck on the Dark Knight themes by Hans Zimmer, and The Man Of Steel theme also by Hans Zimmer

I also like Irish/Celtic type stuff. A certain friend has gotten me into a lot more of that type stuff lately.

Only Irish band I like (well the only one I know) is The Rend Collective Experiment.

There were never a serious band more like a fun pub band but remember the classic titanic movie.

Yeah, you'd think it would make it hard to concentrate but it doesn't even faze me XD lol

Mood is a tricky thing for writing. lol...

EVERYTHING except for music, distracts me. I lose my concentration fairly quickly, unless it's something I reallyyy care about...

I like listening to movie soundtracks while writing. It puts me into a story kind of mood. The more epic, the better (usually)

@paige Everything else including music of any kind distracts me, except for the classical symphony ones. The library is the only best place for me to get my concentration on. I never even have time to write for at least two hours because of my crazy family

Lol, yea it can be bad. I got the whole class to look out the window at some crazy squirrel one day. The teacher didn't know I started it though... ;)
