My favorite summer reads are:
I don't know, I love reading the older books in the summer. I guess some of the books I listed above wouldn't necessarily be your typical light teenage summer books, but they are what I usually read at least once each summer. :)

Reckless Magic
this is the first book, seriously, try it out!
I plan on putting together a TBR for my summer reading list. I need to read a bunch of my series so I think that's what I will be putting on my TBR.

Any John Green books I can get my hands on, City of Heavenly Fire, The One, Jane Eyre, other classics, finish The Hobbit, I don't know if I finished the Narnia series years ago, so I plan on finishing that.
I always intend to reread books I own. I never end up doing so. My family and I are trying to read fifty books during the month of summer (June 1st to September 1st!) So I plan on doing quite a bit of reading.
Here are a few summer-y books that I have read in the past:

June to September :) Yey!
Yeah! I'm reading some Dan Brown too!My list:
-Inferno(reading now)
-Digital Fortress
-Deception Point
-City of Ashes (reading now), City of Glass ect...
That's enough to achieve ha ha :P
Harry Potters always a great summer read though!
During summer, I usually read longer books, So I'll read some of the A Song of Ice and Fire series, accompanied by some shorter books to get as much read as possible :)
I do the same and read long books that I might not have time to read during the school year. This year my goal is to read War and Peace in a week. It's going to be hard but I've made a bet for £20 and I'm determined to do it. Between longer reads I also like to catch up on YA series. Lots of YA books are released around February-May and I use summer to read some of them. This year it'll be Cress, Dreams of Gods & Monsters, Raging Star and a few others.
I plan on reading this summer:
(Since it comes out early July)
(Also a July release)
(An August release)
(July release)
(August release)
and a lot more
I hope I can get to all of these this summer.
