July is National Ice Cream Month! Don't spill your ice cream all over this month's reads...! Which, by the way, what ARE you reading??

This month I am reading A Rogue by Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean. This was suggested to me by Courtnie and I am LOVING it. Got it through Overdrive. (I love you, Overdrive.)

I am at the moment listening to the audiobook Urn Burial by Kerry Greenwood and I am reading Kiss and Tell by Cherry Adair who, by the way, is one of my new best friends.

Mariah, I recently read Sarah McLean's Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rakeafter hearing her presentation at the MALA Romance workshop. I really liked it, but hear her new series is better, so I look forward to Rogue at some point. She writes really great dialogue.

I'm currently reading The Book of My Lives by Bosnian writer Aleksandar Hemon. I think I like his fiction better, but the last essay about his three-year-old daughter's brain cancer and death was pretty heartbreaking. I also just started Meg Wolitzer's The Interestings.

Karen (kgilson) | 44 comments I am still reading The Four Corners of the Skyby Michael Malone. I really like it but June was super busy and I didn't get it finished before it was due on Overdrive and then I had to wait to get it again. I haven't started listening to a book yet. I have several at home waiting I just can't decide what kind of mode I am in.

Cookie (bookcupidity) Reading Sanctum right now. It's a dark one, with interesting world building although it's a little predictable in terms of characterization.

The romance I'm reading now is The Hunter by Monica McCarty. I've gotten past the history lesson part that is characteristically part of each of her "Highland Guard" books, but it's not really enchanting me yet.

Me too! I have to get back to this, liked it, just didn't finish it in time :)

Karen (kgilson) | 44 comments I finished The Four Corners of the Sky last night. It really is a good book. I am going to start Dead Ever After by Charlaine Harris. I have no illusions that it is going to be anything but awful. The series really went downhill with the last few books. But I feel like I need the closure. I also decided to listen to Twelve Sharp by Janet Evanovich.

I am halfway through Phantom Evil by Heather Graham. I have not read one of hers since her historical romance days. Totally different than any of those.

Dorothea | 38 comments Just finished Moon Over Manifest (Kleenex at hand)and have started The Language of Bees. Both are my first books for these authors

I just started A Storm of Swordson audiobook. And I am also reading Tricked by Kevin Hearne. Tricked is the 4th book in the series and this series is at the top of my favorites at the moment.

VIXEN (vixen6) | 1 comments I just finish Tom Clancy's The Op Center. It was entertaining. Not at all like what happens in real life, but entertaining none the less.

Cookie (bookcupidity) I picked up The 5th Wave over the weekend, and oh my goodness. If you're a fan of pulse-pounding action and like the YA genre, you'll love this. Soo good!
