Do animals have souls?

Well... it's sort of difficult to say. There are going to be animals in heaven (imo), because there are so many people who love animals. Like, I think in heaven I'm gonna have like five cats or so. And then I think certain animals will be there, like, say for instance, I had a cat named Zorro once, but she was killed. I think Zorro will be there in heaven with me, but I don't know if it will actually be her. So, no. Animals don't have souls like humans, but there are animals in heaven.
I think they do... I mean, yeah. I don't know. I don't know what to say for my own debate XD Only things is that SOME animals... I mean smaller ones? I'm not saying cats or dogs. But more like turtles. It's not like they really think much. Not really about things like "What is my purpose?"
O.O
I don't even know. Sorry. That doesn't make sense XD
I usually do think they do have souls though :)

I agree with what most of you said. I personally dont think we are any better than animals, though my brain is wired to think so. Really, we could learn so much from animals. It's not because of them our world is becoming an oven and slowly (but surely) eroding away. But we are so narcissistic and are unaware that we are not the only ones on the earth. That we share this Earth not only with other humans (though we can even forget that too). I never really answered the question, so here it is: I have no clue if animals have souls. Heck, I couldn't even tell you if humans have souls. So I'm going to research what the definition of a soul really is.
Well I'm not really sure I believe in souls-a part of us that is immortal and separate from our physical bodies that controls us-I'd say that our so called souls is simply our left half of our brain working (and a bit of our right side).
@H99 Have you ever heard of the "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" painting? It was quite clever if you ask me. Showing that all representations are inherently abstract. Especially words.

If you believe in heaven... pets up there?
